Off to see the movie tomorrow!
Speedmaster is part of man’s greatest achievement
one watch to purchase and own for life and never need another one ever!
You’d think so, but I have a gold watch purchased in 1974. 48 years ago.
The battery leaked inside the watch, and I’m told that no replacement parts are being made anymore. I asked about omegas lifetime guarantee. Apparently a lifetime is over after 48 years according to omega.
@@evilspacemonkeyman Sorry to hear that . I think lifetime guarantee is for mechanical watches , finding/making printplate/chips is non really doable . They should mention that . I never heard anyone witrh mech watch being beyond repair , at a price , but possible .
Beautiful watch.
Excellent 👍🏻👍🏻
wearing mine right now :D
Nice!
Will watch it just to see the watch
Weird
man on the phuckinnn mooonnn
Tq 4 the video
Good I love the Moonwatch. My everyday goto watch since I got it.
Great
COOL
Looks to be the hesalite variant, no applied logo.
I think it's still the 1861 in the movie.
Nice watch
Omega buena marca
Koray bey o parti ptoje de senin bulunduğun parti ne oluyor acaba?
The speedy will save the world!
Such an iconic watch. Wonderful to see Omega affiliate with the movie. I know what is on my gift list to myself this year😍

the real moon watch
Omega. I'm shocked.
Now I'll need to see this movie.

Quel charabia!
Interesting they chose ( Omega) for this movie 🎥🤔
The best watch. That's all.
Yes, but only the one with the 321 caliber :)
@@astrolune nope
@@Mega-zi7ys cry
@@astrolune why? You're childish🤣
Yup timeless classic. The heritage is really great.
Buna dimineata sa trezit dulceata🤣
Moonwatch duhhh 😁
👍👍👍👍👍
Moonwatch with calibre 321 yes please
Why not the X-33?
history and marketing, x-33 is more accurate for the movie but the speedy pro is the seller
The Speedmaster used is the 1861
😁
@@ricardocoutinho3495 of course the 1861 is the last one approved by nasa
@@1337BlueBird Wrong. The X-33 is also flight-qualified by NASA for space missions, and is used on the ISS. It's the newer X-33 Skywalker that hasn't been approved by NASA, but has been approved by the ESA.
@@myscrnnm yeah i know i was talking about the speedy pro
NAH. The Casio one with the calculator.
Can that watch shoot laser beams
Omega was the only watch that passed all of the NASA tests. But a couple of astronauts still brought the inferior Rolex on early missions.
Well most astronauts received 1 or 2 Omega Speedmaster chronographs, so most of them bought a Rolex as their personal watch... Following NASA testpilots and astronauts had a Rolex wrist watch : Yeager, Schirra, Borman, Collins, Lovell, Glenn, Worden, Swigert, Mitchell, Shepard, Roosa, Cernan, Evans, Aldrin, Haise Engle, Anders, Duke, Crossfield, Carpenter, Knight and Dana. Photos can be seen on MoonwatchUniverse 🧐
The Rolex GMT-master was flown onboard X-15 flights 188 and 190 also onboard Apollo 13, 14 and 17... and onboard a dozen space shuttle spaceflight missions !
@@phmwu7368 But it was the precision timing of an Omega that got Apollo 13 back to earth. Omega is the only watch in the Smithsonian: Air & Space Museum with its own display.
@@theylied1776 Of course as the Speedmaster was the official qualified chronograph for NASA. Both brands are enjoyed by a lot of people but a remarkable trend was the fact that astronauts who trained in NASA's underwater habitat NEEMO program, wearing Submariner and Sea Dweller, carried thoese same watches onboard spaceflight missions (e.g. Canadian David Williams onboard space shuttle Endeavour mission STS-118 in August 2007). The VRFM chevalier edition hardcover book has the complete Rolex-in-space stories, or check MoonwatchUniverse 🧐
@@phmwu7368 Rolex failed NASA's presure and temperature tests. NASA just didn't pick Omega out of a hat. Omega proved to be the superior watch. It passed every test.
What’s with the Rolex hate.
Me encanta Gloria Camila...su hermano soma no le da ni ala zuela d los zapatos...
an iconic watch in a horrendous stupid movie
This situation reminds me of the UK minors strike back in the 80s when Thatchers government was very nearly bought to its knees. The mainstream media and politicians used exactly the same labelling tactics to villify them. I remember seeing one reporter suggest to a minor that he was a "trotskyist" The poor bloke looked totally bewildered and I doubt he even knew what that meant. He was a simple working class man fighting for his family and community. The minors lost that battle. Let's hope history doesn't repeat itself.

What situation?
Cool Video , but Breitling was my Favorite Watch Brand … 🤔
From Apollo 13 to this dreck...what a fall.
hesalite or sapphire, is the real question here
If you’re planning on taking your watch into space then hesalite - I’m not so went with the sapphire!
I’m going to space so yeah Hesalite.
@@stevehs4287 same here. For practical use i got sapphire. If there's a chance I can go outer space then that means i should be able to reward myself with hesalite. But it's not gonna happen. Haha.
Hehe I have Hesalite because this is what t he astronauts are using. Reason: when it cracks in space, there is no debris, not even micro debris. As opposed to Sapphire. But every Moonwatch is cool. My grail is on my wrist right now 😉👍🏻
Hesalite of course.
This is just another armageddon
It is point to buy it? 🤔 when time is ticking 🤣

I like the story about the moon but this movie was meeh
Come on Omega!
Your history and character is much bigger than this Hamilton kind of job.
Show your muscles!
What does that even mean?
@@almac9203 The placement is perfect. I also have no idea what the buffoon is talking about.
@@RS-jb1lf because you both are stupid.
Is there a third one?!
@@almac9203 I think he means that Omega needs to market themselves more aggressively in media the way Hamilton does. Funnily enough, one of Roland Emmerich's previous sci-fi action films, Independence Day: Resurgence, features a Hamilton.
This movie looks so awful.
May have to see it for the Speedmasters though.
Don't there worse
It will be great that You present special edition of Omega Speedmaste Apollo 11 made with parts of Apollo 11 spaceshutlle… in honor to Apollo 11 team..dial’s You can made with this metal…I.B.
Is this really needed, Omega? C‘mon
Yes, it is. Their watch is legendary and incredibly well suited to the movie placement. Why are you here?
@@RS-jb1lf lol, quite the opposite, the watch is too good to be used in a movie. This watch needs no product placement
So what speedy went to moon but cant survive normal atmospheric pressure without letting moisture in? Coming from a guy that has seamaster 300 and new speedmaster fix that quality control boys.
Tanguy today uttered some seriously worrying words about what his future could hold, despite Lyon having an option to purchase for a hefty money back Levy-esque £54m. He said that he's still a Tottenham player and could still play for Spurs next season. Eeeeek.
Always thought this was an ugly looking watch,”iconic “ or not.
No Seiko was on the wrist of an astronaut as omega was only given to them on flight day FACT new omega movement in the last ten years shite
The actor from game of thrones was absolutely horrible he made this movie really bad if he was not there the movie would be at least 40% better. He portraits a bad character or maybe he just is not a good actor at all and Hollywood needs to give him P45 and send him home so he can work fish and chips shop for the rest of his miserable life.
Rolex.
Is garbage.
Overrated.
Rolex is blingbling . They do make good watches , no doubt about it . They also make beautiful watches , also no doubt about it . But if you look at everything , and yes i did on multiple times , you will see that it is over valued . I mean , check Tudor if you like the Rolex design , same family but much cheaper , but ready available . 1-1 check Omega for the Seamasters vs Subs or the Speedys vs Daytonas ond you will see that Rolex is just mainly the name . It does not mean Rolex is bad , nope , i do love some of their watches , but not at the prices they are asking and especially not at resale prices . They are mainly driven by sales numbers , limiting supplies ( while they make 100s of 1000s of watches , but they make sure to be silent about that ) .
rolex failed the NASA test bruh
Omega is better and their ADs in my experience are fantastic and take care of their customers.
