Nah man, they were all very different players with different styles. Xavi was the short pass master, insane vision (long balls too, but Barca's style of play didn't encourage too many searching balls). He was the metronome. Iniesta was arguably one the best box to box midfielders of his time. He was all rounded, a shot in the foot for him because it's hard to pick out his best traits, He was simply good at a number of things. Vision, passing, shooting, dribbling. Pirlo was pure class, unrivaled distribution, long ball and vision. Played like a quarterback and tidy in possession, great ball control. Oozed class.
I personally was a huge fan of Iniesta, ability wise, I think he was underappreciated (being in a star-studded Barca with Messi and Xavi taking the shine a lot, even in ballon d'or rankings). But there's so much that they all brought to the table that it would be a crime to heap them all together and pick one.

Objectively speaking, he strung passes that elude everyone except his intended target. No one else could see where the pass was going, even commentators we're awestruck.

Present day players are trained to play thrilling fast pace, physical counter attacks with long passes, and the supplying player in most cases just kick the ball to an unoccupied area of the pitch and have a fast running teammate chase it for 1 to 2 penalty boxes' distance to retrieve the ball before shooting or second pass it. Pirlo on the other hand can make long passes even while his own team is on active offence (not just in a space exposing counter attack situation), and in most scenarios, his receiving teammates don't need to run more than 1/2 the distance of a penalty box to pick up the pass before shooting or second passing. Pirlo is a genuinely high quality, vision based pin point passer, and he himself is the highest definition of a passing maestro.

He was even better than this video suggests. There are very few clips of his prime days in AC Milan in the video. That was when Pirlo established himself as the best deep-lying playmaker in the world and formed an unstoppable midfield with Gattuso, Seedorf and Kaka.
