Who Built the Polygonal & Cyclopean Walls of Maliabad Fort in India? | Megalithomania

  • Located in the Karnataka region of central India, Maliabad Fort is a stunning megalithic complex which officially dates to the 13th Century but is now thought to be much, much older. It has polygonal construction, nubs and cyclopean blocks which resemble those found in Peru. It is famous for its white granite life-size stone elephants and the stonework there is on par with ancient Egypt and Puma Punku in Bolivia. There is also a Shiva temple with a bull statue and lingham constructed of megalithic blocks. The mighty walls are about 30ft high and stretch for 3.5 miles (5KM) but the dating is questionable and therefore the builders remain a mystery. Part two will explore further aspects of this huge site.

    I'm a simple man. I see megalithic polygonal masonry being explored in remote regions of the world and I'm ecstatically happy. Though I warn you, once you start down the India path, there's no going back. Karnataka alone has 34,000 temples, with about a thousand in its capital alone. If you saw one a day that's 93 years of sightseeing!
    The region of Tamil Nadu, which is right below Karnataka, is home to even more- a staggering 79,154 temples! Aghhhh (head implodes)

Archaeologists seem to continuously shut down any new ideas or any discussion. The whole point of Science is to be creative and to be counterintuitive in order to find out new information that we didn't think of before. You speculate and theorise.
      Edward Jenner speculated that cow pox would immunise people from small pox. It was a hypothesis based on observation. He then carried out some experiments after and then had some data.
      Einsteins theories were proposed many years before they could be tested and proven.

    The thing that archaeology never seems to seriously address is the why. Even if you can force your brain to accept the rationalization that primitive technology makes "anything" possible if you throw enough slave labor and time at the problem, so many of these things would never be worth the time and effort that kind of low tech solution would require. The only way it makes sense is if it wasn't so primitive. It doesn't matter that we don't have the smoking guns, we have the bullet holes. This place is astounding. Thank you for sharing it with us.

    • @defzxcv
      @defzxcv Před 2 měsíci +2

      yea, just saying 'it took a lot of labor' doesn't solve the problem - that surplus still needs to be created somewhere, you are just shifting the need for technology to the infrastructure that supported those laborers. in fact, it actually takes a much smaller surplus to develop sophisticated tools and then use them to build things, than it does to just throw insane amounts of labor at a problem with bad tools. you don't saw for hours with a dull blade, you spend a few minutes sharpening it and then make the cut in a few more. it's very obvious that these people were using excellent tools to produce such excellent work.

      @@nojabhere oh yes, personally i believe they were created pre-Younger Dryas Impact event, so more than 12.5k years ago.
      I love to sit and think about the Great Year, how many human civilizations has risen and fallen on this planet over the last 26,000 years…
      The tremendous expanse of Time stretches the imagination, and brings visions of glories long gone…

    The Lingam was (as the Greek Omphalos and the Egyptian Dsched pillar) a symbol of the earth axis, according to the Veda located on mount Kailas in Tretayuga. The Bull obviously doesn't mean the white bull Nandi but probably the constellation Taurus and especially the first age of Taurus (which began about 30.000 BC). This was the time of the first eight ruling gods of the Egyptians which are called Netheru. This is a Sanscrit word meaning Guardians, Watchers. In the Veda these eight gods were called "Vasus". Tey are:
    Ptah = Agni,
    Amun-Re = Surya,
    Shu = Vayu,
    Geb = Bali,
    Osiris = Prithu (an Incarnation of Vishnu),
    Seth = Vrtra,
    Isis = Durga (she replaced Khem = Kama),
    and Horus = Pushan.
    All of them also were constellations:
    Ptah/Agni = Aries
    Amun-Re/Surya = Taurus
    Shu/Vayu = Aquila
    Geb/Bali = ?
    Osiris/Prithu = Orion (like Vishnu),
    Seth/Vrtra = Ophiuchus
    Isis/Durha = Virgo
    (Khem/Kama = Sagitta)
    Horus/Pushan = Corvus

    Wow! Thanks Hugh! It strikes me that the nubs could have been made to allow the builders footholds while they were constructing these beauties, and possibly were destined to be removed once complete. Thanks again for the tour 🙏🇦🇺

    The slave labour theory does not hold water. There were a lot less people on the planet back then. To build any megalith would take thousands of slaves to quarry the stone, carve it, and transport it. They would all need feeding and clothing so an army of farmers and weavers, cooks and people to manufacture knives and plates, cooking utensils etc. Add to that farmers and builders for sleeping. They would still all need training, architects, drawing, and precise communications. The whole army of people and all of the infrastructure would need to be moved to the next project, the logistics would be huge. All of this done by people with no paper, phones, toolmakers, foundries etc etc. None of it makes any sense at all.

    • @RxYouth
      @RxYouth Před měsícem +5

      Exactly, when you start breaking down the logistics of so much of this stuff it quickly doesnt add up at all.

    You see this in places around the world... look at the pillars in frame 1:32 the pillars are carved where as they do not relate to the way it is assembled, these parts are stacked up from previous ruins... the rocks stacked to the left are just rubble... where other areas its perfection... what is there is not original .

    the "mountain" used to be part of the structure too - extreme cataclysmic damage turns ancient mega buildings into "mountains"- granite is geopolymer (ancient concrete)

    7:24 Look at that!!! Once again! The stone blocks are perfectly fit together literally no gap in between no matter what shape they are. But pay attention to the stone blocks themselves, looks like melting effect on the edge of the stones. Looks like these stones were soft and been pushed together to fit perfectly.

    This is the place where you can easily get some core samples through nubs and examine quartz crystal orientation. I'm not an expert but in steel melting and cooling produce unique structure with in steel itself that can be easy seen under microscope maybe something similar can be observe in granite. Nubs could be some surplus material after softening-melting and pressing.

    That place was obviously heavily quarried. And like many other places with polygonal walls, it doesn't seem to serve a military purpose, even so they're called forts and castles.

    The Shiva temple looks like it was built from the stone ruins of something else, as it is made from broken and reworked stone.
