Hey guys, today we are going to look at a very mysterious structure in a small town called Adalaj.
In the middle of the roads, houses, and trees, what is that strange Lingam shaped structure? Is this is a secret government organization or an underground bunker? No. This is a historic structure known as the Adalaj Ni Vav. Almost perfectly aligned along the North - South axis, its design is totally unique. It does not have an entrance on the North side at all, and no entryways in the center of the structure as well. But on this side, it has 3 entrances with steps, in three directions, right to next to one another. Why was such a unique architecture built many centuries ago? What are these three octagonal structures on top?
Now, let’s get on the ground and try to get a closer view. This is a very surprising structure, because nothing is visible from the ground level. Usually, I show you structures starting from ground level and going up. In this one, we start from the ground level and we are going to go down. Yes, this is an underground structure, but you know how many levels, how many floors go underground? It goes five stories below, it has 5 different levels. What do experts say about this structure? Experts call this the Adalaj Step well, and It was designed with 2 separate wells to provide water to the public. A giant structure with so many levels and carvings just to provide water? But there is an even more weird claim. Wikipedia calls this an Indo - Islamic structure meaning that the structure was built by both Hindus and Muslims? How is this possible?
We have come more than 75 feet deep and we have reached the bottom most level of this structure, and you can see this circular well. It looks remarkably simple, seems to be about 12 feet in diameter, and just 30 feet deep. There are steps radiating on all four sides to help people access water from all sides. Is this well, really the primary purpose of building this vast 5 storied underground structure?
As you can see, there seems to be nothing else here, so let’s go back up and look at the other details. No. Wait, what about the second well, I told you there are 2 wells here, right? Where is the second well? Let us go past this first well, and see if we can find it. After we go past the first well, there is another structure. And you can see a narrow entrance here, it is just 2 feet wide. It is so narrow that only one person can go through. And here, we can see the secret, second well. It is smaller than the first well, and it is also less deep. If you look carefully into the well, you can see the bottom, it is probably less than 15 feet deep. Why would anyone build 2 separate wells right next to one another? I mean they are for the same purpose, to drink water, right? Today, imagine you are building a house, would you dig 2 separate wells, or put 2 bore wells, right next to each other? This would be like putting 2 separate entrances in front of your house, nobody does it, because there should be no use for this. But the original builders must have a had a valid purpose for this, and we cannot understand what it is. Why is this well hidden from public view?
And see here, very fascinating carving - 2 kissing fish. What do they mean? I have repeatedly shown you carvings like this, they indicate the presence of ground water underneath, and here we see it directly in the walls of the well. And look at the walls, you can see the shallow rectangular chambers - 3 chambers specifically. Inside these chambers, you can find carvings of Hindu Gods. And each chamber would be visible from one floor. Why did they put these carvings and chambers in this wall? What is the real reason for building such a fantastic, 5 storied structure? As we come out of the second well, you see.. this area between these 2 wells is completely covered. Look carefully, do you see anything strange?

It was all belong to Tamil people, Tamil Technology etc. Only after Jews came to Kerala they Hided in the name of Brahmins, started creating new language etc. They divide n conquer Tamil people. Make them as different race. Please start telling the truth.

Sacred Finger Ring made of Gold ( Generally known as Payyannur Pavithra Mothiram in local language. Payyannur is a coastal Town near Kannur , Kerala, India) is a special Finger Ring made to order only from special Jewellary Shops has similar knots. This finger ring is believed to have mystical powers and is used only by very few people following tantrik knowledge and practices, who aspire to attain siddhis ( by invocation of particular deity/ accessing through corresponding points in the brain with great discipline). I think, this need Praveen Mohan's attention for exploring more.

It's also crazy that despite how densely populated India is,-'d despite how hold the country is, that these structures seem to remain so intact and preserved. I don't know if that's a testament to the quality of the building or the innate respect people have for the ancient world our ancestors left for us to enjoy and learn from.

@@thenoises1604 India is densely populated only in urban metro cities!
70% Indian population still lives in rural villages which are not densely populated.. Most of our ancient temples are in these villages... Every village has their own deties and stories. So for us preserving temples and traditions. is part of our daily responsibility. This is why even after 1000 years of brutal Islamic invasion and 200 years of British colonization our ancient civilization is still alive and blooming!

Hi Praveen, fantastic video as always!!! I have couple of observation hope that make sense.
1 - This is not a Indo - Islamic structure, the wall with Islamic door style, you can clearly sees that it was build over Hindu pillars, the reminiscence can still be seeing protruding out of wall. Just like any other Hindu structure, most likely the Islamist ruler destroyed the two front and back pillar and re-plastered it with Islamic style, just they did with Qutub Minar.
2 - The entire structure seems like a door-way to different world, three- entrances from above but going below underground. This is No Temple, there is no depiction of any kind of GOD, just doors.
3 - The Minaret you have shown, are No Islamic Minars but lighthouses, you can clearly see, that there is a Rectangle/barfi type structure at the center of the so-called pillars tops, there are 7 of them on the top of the minar pillar but fit inside, that shows the place where it lead to will be a dark and need lights. And it also shows which type of light.
4 - Hybird Lions are the gatekeeper of the doors, hence they are standing on the doors, you can see that there are door pillars on the side and lions are in fact guarding the doors.
5 - The Knots are used to unlock the doors and to make way with lions/hybrid animals. They are essentially key and one who know how to unlock them can get access through the doors.
6 - The Mandala, is exactly like Sri-Yantra, and if you observed carefully, they are actually over the door, and it seems as you have also recorded, there can be actually opened as I can see clearly cracks behind the door, I believe you have use this Mandala to open the passageway/doorways.
7 - The two well, I don't think they had water initially or may be, but One with the stairs are actually how you should go in with the light and using the mandala to travel the underworld or different territory. The other well is just the shaft that is used to expel the extra air or water as one enter through the main One (to avoid building the pressure). You can clearly see the other smaller well has completely blocked cylindrical structure, just as any shaft in a underground tunnel looks like.
8 - This kind of Mandala and animals guarding the doors are no work of 14th Century but go way back to Satya-yuga/Treta-yuga, I believe the structure is thousands of years old.
Our ancient fore-father has many abilities which in today's generations eyes might just looks science fiction.

Thank you isn't enough Praveen. You're the chosen one to decode messages from ancient civilization called Bharat. It clearly make sense that there must have been Satya Yuga where the world was ruled by Gods and Goddesses. Information we are reading now from books and online are beautifully narrated through structural carvings. As we enter Kali Yuga, we slowly lose the Sattvic qualities - true intelligence and highest possibility of a living being. We could only wonder in amazement looking at these brilliant geniuses from the past, or as we address them as Rishis and Munis (ancient sages = scientists)

In 1 manvantara there are 71 maha yugas . Our galaxy takes 250 million years to complete 1 revolution which equals to 1 manvantara . Now a days we call this 1 cosmic year. Sri Ramayanam is real was from 24 Maha Yuga in treta yuga . We are currently in 28th Maha Yuga(Kali Yuga first part) Kali yuga started 5122 years by Feb 2020.If you calculated the entire time line from Ramayana 24 maha yugas to 28 Maha Yuga present days it is 1 crore 94 lakhs 45 thousand human Years(which is 19 million years in english words). Source "Vayu Purana" clearly stats the sloka in Sanskrit which i will convert to English " Ravana who belongs to 24 maha yuga who lost his tappoo(no words to explain this in English) Shakti got killed including all his relatives and family members by Lord Rama who is the son of Dasharatha " but as per darvin theory we are just evolved from 7 million years and turend to human from aps from 1.5 million years while is contradictory to ramayana is 19 million years .But by observing "CRETACEOUS hand print which dated back to 110 million years" darwin theory is a failed theory sadly we are reading it ..

@RealPraveenMohan At 6:35 the asset shown is built over the Hindu structure which I think, Islam structure as you claim is built over it. Moreover the idols were destroyed is what you claimed in some parts. Which means that the Islam didn't coordinate with the Hindu's, rather remodified the structure when they came here. I mean to say the structure might be older than their invasion. Cheers

How puzzling and beautiful. Once I dreamt that underneath the piramides there were 5 floors and that people used to live there. Could it be that this template is a kind of miniature that tells the story of very very ancient times when dinosaurs were still alive?

    • @thenoises1604
      @thenoises1604 Před 9 měsíci

I was thinking the disfigured horse and the dinosaur looking being could actually be dragons. There are knots found at this part of the structure, and dragons and knots were commonly found in artwork made by the Viking and Celtic people do ancient times. Dragons, however are not unique to those two civilizations, but rather, are a common motif that's found in both Eastern and Western ancient artwork and mythology. Some people believe that dragons were real, and some people believe that wha we call dinosaurs are what ancient people considered dinosaurs... it's just up for debate as to whether they also inhabited earth at the same time as the giant creatures, or whether they were simply finding fossils
and imagining what they looked like. There are many legends and tales that even modern man of today will insist were true stories - non-fiction. Stories about revered warriors amongst tribes and civilizations who were honored and remembered as amazing dragon slayers. You can probably find some version of that story in every part of the world. And dragons are not just found in ancient art and mythology, either. There are plenty of things that depict these beings in much more modern, medieval history.

In the areas of these magnificent stepwells, the ancient climate had a few days or weeks of torrential rain that dumped in some cases hundreds of inches of rain during the monsoons, but then the rest of the year would be without rain. In order to preserve this precious water, these stepwell were built into the ground directing the rain to solid stone holding containers that could be accessed all year. The stepwells would fill up to the top (reaching ground level) after the rains, and as the people would draw the water, the level would drop and the people could continue to access the water via the stairs and balcony openings down multiple stories.
In my opinion, the 2nd, smaller round water well was connected to the main one to hold the overflow of water but separated to perhaps hold freshwater fish (kissing fish carving on the wall) that they could keep separate from the drinking water, accessible only by select persons.
