So I’m new to the BMW world and I purchased an X5 back in May and I noticed a lot of the modules are missing so I’ll probably be re-purchasing those including this Bluetooth module. What does this Bluetooth module do? Does it allow Bluetooth phone calls or streaming audio/music? What version is the Bluetooth? 3.0

Hey everyone, I just wanted to check it out, but my iPhone X won't find the car. I read before that the the newer phones doesn't support old bluetooth devices, so I went with iPhone 4S. Same results. Does it means, that the Bluetooth module died? Which Fuse is for the module? Thanks

Have taken off the access panel in the boot of our September 2003 X5 also the removable cover and we don’t seem to have the module with the code for pairing my iPhone. Does this mean that we don’t have Bluetooth, but we have all the other phone signs on the dash and the steering wheel. Can anyone advise me please ?

You can't play music through it, only make calls unfortunately.

Then that means you don't have bluetooth YOU MUST HAVE THE BUTTON under the armrest

The one in my 04 x5 only works with older phones it won't work with my Samsung note 10 it is what it is 🤣🤣
My 05 absolutely works with my Note 10+! You may want to try again. Take the key out, hold the face button down and turn the key on. Wait a few seconds and scan for BT on your phone.
