I have watched all the videos pertaining to this project. Super nice and attention to detail is off the chart. I have a "Fisher" 17
2005 model in good shape but the carpet is starting to wear in spots. Basically the same boat as this. I may try and redo mine after watching your informative videos. thanks for taking the time to document it all. Good fishing. Don

Truly an amazing job both in the remodeling and the amount of work you done to make each video of this series for us all. Alot of people truly have no clue the amount of work you put into this. The job on the boat was one thing but you also filmed and edited it all too. Wow! I know all too well the amount of hard work and time it takes to create each video, but for you to do a another separate job at the same time blows my mind. Nice work! Love the way it came out. One suggestion, on the deck extension lid router out a grove so the edge of the hatch will be flush with the deck. Just a suggestion for you to consider next time.

Love this! You went with 20oz carpet and reused hatches. Did you have any tight hatches? I've been considering 16oz to avoid tight hatches but if that old Tracker can tolerate the thicker 20oz carpet, then I'll go 20oz on mine, also a '94. Again, great job!
Buy a cheap set of hair clippers from harbour freight use the guards it comes with and trim the carpet on the edges of the lids until you get the fit you like. 20 oz is the way to go for comfort and longevity.

i watch your videos over and over its like watching a good movie! my brother gave me a 2006 pro175 almost no hours and garage kept but still the carpet needs replacing. i would love to do some of the upgrades from this but not nearly as skilled as you. do you have any recommendations/ i live in the Fort Worth area. im 65 and should probably leave it alone and just enjoy it but you ruined all that! haha! thanks for the videos i feel like i should have to pay you for them!

What was the final tally for parts? I have the opportunity to pick up one of these and just wonder if it would be worth it . I know the deck is going to need to be replaced. Will have to replace the motor and trailer. Between those two will be a couple thousand dollars. It is an "87" 17 pro. I am not afraid of the work to get it back in shape but I don't want to find out it will be another 10 thousand in parts. The seats are also missing. It is basically just the boat.
@user-gi5ck7oi2q for a project like that I would plan for $4K to $5K in materials and parts. All depends on the boat and what you are going to do to it.
