@@cbizzul7532 it’s always easier to pick a dodgy job when it’s your own accent they are trying! I think Australian accents are hard to do, especially as the ones people are mainly exposed to are more exaggerated. The ones from Bluey are what more day to day Aussies sound like.

As most said, it sounds Kiwi, but even then it’s a more cartoony version. It sounds more like someone trying an accent, rather than someone succeeding in it.
Very few people can get the Aussie accent right. I think Robert Downey Junior in Tropic Thinder got it right, and Miley Cyrus gets it right 80% of the time. She gets it generally right, but then screws up a word here and there. Otherwise it seems hard for most.

the one thing that made me understand how to do a british accent was a british friend i had telling me americans move their jaw way too much lmao, and it clicked british accents require a relaxed jaw and the american accent is naturally very sharp so it's hard for us to even adjust the shape our mouths make when talking unless we consciously know that's what's wrong
Yeah, but that highly depends on what type of American accent, though. I'm from Missouri, and I have a standard Midwestern accent. My jaw is typically very relaxed when I talk, and it doesn't move alot like how you're describing.

My dad has a southern accent and I’ve never been able to imitate a southern accent because it took me a long time to realize he had it. I wonder if something similar to that is why Millie can’t imitate it- the familiarity makes it difficult possibly?
It's also very regional, I'm from Somerset and its slightly different to the cornish etc my husband's been down here nearly 20 years and when he tries he still sounds like an Irish man and norseman had a baby
