- Fimi Mini 3 testing orbit with manoeuvres around Leeds Telecoms tower, LS16 Cookridge. It was definitely drifting from centre & I did adjust the altitude & radius a few times. I also notice some over exposure in ares
Great quality video. I was obsessed with that tower as a kid. It looked very different then. I used to live nearby but I can still see it from the back of my home now. When I was at the old Ralph Thoresby, it used to give off the nuclear bomb warning when we had practices at school. We had to get under the table (because that was sure to save us!)
I remember the siren alert. Nobody else believes me that it regularly tested the air raid siren.
@@LeeRoper They certainly did. It was eerie to say the least. But the Holt Park Middle School had a warbler to let you know break time was over or as part of the emergency evacuation. That was also eerie and very futuristic in the 70's.
@@RedversCross haha. Don’t I know it. I got detention once for dancing like Kate bush to it when we were supposed to be lining up to go back into school.
