@@zachrabaznaz7687 Kratos wouldn't get the chance to touch them as Hades would throttle all of them if they pulled the shit they did in the GOW series. Also Kratos would probably be reunited with his family.
@@aerospyrosftw Zagreus has zero chance against Kratos, and Zag can easily beat Hades boonless. Kratos can very easily defeat the Hades version of the pantheon (once since they'll just come back)
I’m so glad that the developers put in the love and detail to allow you to still use this Call instead of deactivating it, or otherwise having Zag say he can’t use that right now. *”What?”* and “Oh, shut up!” are comedic gold.
They do deactivate it if you have the smoldering air duo boon. That boon charges your call automatically but only charges it to 1 use instead of 4. It basically would give you permanent invisible/invincibility. I tried it and it didn't work lol. This game has so much thought into it I can't even make broken builds.
i can see Hades giving Zagreus death glares whenever he uses his call while Fighting him like *_"Son... the fuck do you want me to do? Punch myself in the middle of our duel?"_*
then Zagreus goes *"Yes... Exactly"* and of course after Hades actually does it, _Roaring laughter from Zagreus_

i think my favorite interaction between hades is when you use sisyphus’ companion he says something like “is that a blasted boulder from the sky?”

i find it really funny that despite being able to beat gods and ancient powerful heroes, zag still looses to the power of the almighty mountain goat
Now that was a really nice easter egg to put XD
There's a bunch of these mini-interactions within the game, and that's one of the reasons I love it so much.
For example, call Dusa to help during the Gigantic Gorgon Head fight, or call Thanatos when fighting Theseus to see them have a little chat XD
You can also use calls against the other gods too when they are angry with you for example when you chose other god over zeus and you use his call
I used it while fighting Artemis and she said “Sure, why not”

Debatable, I love the shredding on the unseen ones but something about the simplicity of phase 2 really works for me
I feel like even though Hades mocks Zagreus, deep down he does want him to escape and find out the truth, but he could never show it on the surface, and maybe he himself hasn’t realized it. To me, the fact he still gives him blessings and even blesses him during their fight solidifies my theory. Then again, it could also just be a mechanic in game they decided not to remove for the final fight but I’d like to believe that it’s more complicated than that.

If I remember correctly
You can only get the sigils of dead after your mom came home
Otherwise Hades heart will lock and you can't progress his storyline

Maybe he wants his son to find out the truth
But not by giving him boon
If you played the game you'd know he was locked till you got the ending of the game
@@davidc. Uh I played through the whole thing? I commented this about halfway through the game, so yeah I’ll admit I wasn’t super knowledgeable about it. Sorry I didn’t know everything about the ending before commenting, I should have finished the game and then come back to it.
IIRC, your companions can't be used in the Hades fight until he gives his permission, and Dusa can't be used during the time she is fired. I would absolutely expect the devs to lock your ability to use Hades' call against him, that they didn't is Lore.

when i first got the sigil of the dead, I made it a tradition to wear it during the final boss fight just so i can get his reactions
zagreus fucking murdered the GOD OF THE DEAD and later got killed by a FUCKING GOAT
I feel like the sigil should do something special with the spear of Hades.
Can you have a full Hades setup or is it *really* rare to get a boon from him?
You can get a keepsake that gives you Hades' call but other than that there aren't any other hades boons.

@@elijahbistline2360 Hades doesn't have any available through normal channels but if you use his keepsake the call it gives you is a effectively a boon from Hades
That raises up a question, what sort of boons would Hades give? Short invisibility after dashing+damage boost kind of thing? More damage to marked enemies debuff?
@@bonelesschickennuggets1868 There IS his other Spear as an option for Varatha, but aside from that and the Sigil of the Dead, there's nothing else.

Man, this game's combat can be surprisingly easy or SHOCKINGLY brutal each run. I already broke two controllers, and playing it on keyboard like an old-school arcade game is just...untenable to put it mildly.

You have to get to the True Ending first and just continue interacting with him

@@artemisfowldragon pretty much what I had to do. Once he initiated certain dialogue with me it opened up. Just keep playing and talking with him and it should inevitably happen

It showed up for me after my first fight against Charon. You eventually will see a bag of coin that you can "borrow". Taking it makes you fight Charon in Erebus. After this is when the contract showed up for me. It costs 5 diamonds.
@@justalittlemad259 ah thank you! I've fought with him but I haven't paid to much attention on the orders lol I was busy trying to get Achilles and patroclus together. I hyper focused on them lol I will have to go look at my orders to see if it's there. Is there anything besides fighting him or is beating him the only thing needed?
@@SaraMoreno-zy8ie There's still an aspect of RNG to it. But for me, I only had to fight and beat him once. I spoke to him afterward for the "no hard feelings right" conversation and Nyx for the conversation on if that should be something to worry about.

Can you save your progress on PS4 or do you REALLY have to start all the way back after you die??
I mean, you loose the run and you have to re start another, but doesn't mean that you don't get anything the resources as darkness jewels and etc are given to you at the end of the run, even I u die, so u can level up and go further every time, also when ever you go back to the house of hades you unlock new dialog es with all the different characters

@@marcuz-x5448 I was expecting something more epic at the end, although the mountain goat is hilarious, it feels anti-climatic. I mean, it makes for a excuse to keep playing, but still, it could have been something more epic
