Reminds me of the other story where the NASA engineer had a demonic spirit in his home, but he hasn't sold the house because he doesn't want anyone else to suffer through what he's been going through. He's remained in that house for 18 years (as of the posting of the MrBallen story).

There was nothing wrong with it, so I went up and knocked at the home. A nice lady answered. When I asked about the high boy, she looked unnerved. I said "I had to ask...it looks too good for trash. May we have it ?." She looked ill and slowly began " You don't want it, surely"... I was certain I did want it.

We worked on it and Rick got the big drawer open & saw a stub candle, matches, odd powder ( bone?), dried blood (?),and a pentagram on paper. He threw it all away. That night, we began being attacked. It was awful !. No matter where we moved it, at night, pictures were flung off the walls, heard footsteps, etc..." She was trembling." Rick put it outdoors !"
She said "The agent said it had always been here. Several have come and gone, and they leave the high boy behind". I told her she's not crazy, and said I can take the drawers, but will come to get the case tomorrow". She looked sorry for me. Just then, a truck full of gangsta kids blocked out car. They wanted the highboy, but I put all the drawers and the mirror in our car and got in. They finally let us go.
I told Mom the story as we drove and we were very creeped out.
It rained hard that night but when we got to the highboy, it was dry as a bone while the lawn was soaked.
We prayed and sang high praises to God all the way home. We put it in storage. And we both saw it kinda shudder and there was a small scream. No problem since.

But wouldn't destroying it inevitably release whatever it was that was sealed in there? I wouldn't sell it, though. I'd probably give to the local church and have them deal with it. At the very least, they will have some inkling as to how it should be handled. That's why it was odd to me why they didn't contact the church, or in this case, a Rabbi immediately.

He told the first couple that the box caused weird shit to happen and they bought it anyway. The second group of people who bought it literally read in the listing something like, "this box is haunted, buy at your own risk," and the people bought it. He gave both buyers fair warning so it's really not his fault that they had bad shit happen to them

If anyone is curious, Kevin said in 2021 that he made the whole thing up and created the curios in the box himself. The box is actually in a personal museum (never got involved with a Rabbi). It was just an incredible internet hoax.

Yeah I saw some videos about it explaining it was a made-up and didn't really happen. Not sure what actually happened, I can't prove these paranormal things are not real, so ill be open minded and believe that sometimes these things do happen, but sometimes people like to make it up too. But yeah while I do believe in the paranormal(cause I experienced it before), this might have been another fictional story like many have been around sadly inducing people into believing in hoaxes.

I don't believe its a hoax and if so that changes NOTHING to the fact that demons are real! I also felt them very often and that is exactly what Gods word the Bible teaches us! Also haunted objects are real.

Thanks for the tip, Mr Ballen. Both of my children were excited about the latest solar eclipse. I did what you said and both of their corneas were instantly vaporized.
But it hasn't been all bad having blind children. They don't ask for every toy when an ad is played, they don't run around the house anymore and Christmas shopping is so much easier.
I got some shoes, for myself. Took the box and stuck it in another box. Wrapped it up and as my kids were touching it and asking what it was, I told them it was the newest Xbox out right now. When they want to TRY and play it, I put on Walk-through videos for any game they wana play.
Thanks for saving me thousands on unnecessary toys. But I wouldn't mind some help for the millions in hospital bills, visits, ect. Not to mention, they heard(because they hear EVERYTHING now. The Dybbuk Box was last known to be kept by Lorraine and Ed Warren at The Warrens Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut (which was closed after the passing of Lorraine) it's currently owned by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy Warren & Tony Spera.The museum displayed many claimed haunted objects including the Dybbuk Box, but to date it's not clear if they will reopen or not. It's also unclear if the Dybbuk Box is still with the collection or not.

Im a security guard and I listen to these at night while I'm driving the patrol car. I listened to this one around 3 in the morning and I started to get legitimately creeped out.
