Man the way you tell the stories is crazy. I remember probably 80% of every video. Some bits and pieces get lost in the fray, but you honestly make these people known. They aren't just victims in your stories, but real people that went through horrible things.

One of the most important rules I've realised: if you see the face of your attacker, fight for your life. They're not planning on letting you live.
Yes. If you see their face they are going to try to kill you. No question. Also- NEVER get in to the car with them.
For sure you are taught never do as they say as far as going away with them
Always keep a gun with you
A man of cultured profile picture, you are doing well my apprentice, however, you still have much to learn in the ways of the Pepe side.
Also don't be a woman alone.
Imagine you're hanging out with your partner, when they randomly get mad and leave. Later, you find out that they were mad because they wanted to kill you but couldn't because the gardener was around...
Right. I was thinking the same thing. What it must've been like to find out that this man was going to kill you and your daughters but the gardener saved you once and his foolish mistake saved you the second time.
I thought the same thing.
I hate when that happens
Yeah that is a crazy scary scenario and I bet that womanâs never been the same since
I wonder what Cary's family thought of all this, having gone through their own personal hell when they were younger?
As tragic as this is, people need to realise that if someone is committing any serious crime and they reveal their face, then itâs safe to assume they have no intentions of letting you live as you are able to later identify them. Fight for your life, struggle hard, if nothing else donât let them easily carry out whatever sick plan they have. Even a quick death will likely be better than what these bastards have in mind.

Steven, Cary's brother, was an amazing person and had the empathy his brother completely lacked. He was abducted and held for 7 years being constantly raped and assaulted. Your best attribute is that you give notoriety to the victims, while giving as little as you possibly can, while still getting the story across, towards the murderer.
I'll never grasp how someone can kill someone so effortlessly and mentally uninvolved. If I see a kitten limping outside, I'll literally spend the day feeling sadly sympathetic. How can someone just not feel those things? Remorse, empathy, guilt, etc. The brain is one incredible and fascinating, yet utterly terrifying thing.

The heart of mankind is deceitfully wicked. Who can understand it? Jeremiah 17:9.
I drove alone from Washington state to California and I had a creepy experience. I stayed at a motel in one of those small towns by the 5 fwy. For some crazy reason my motel key card kept malfunctioning. So I kept going back to the front desk. Finally, the guy in the front desk was asking me if he could come over to my room to âfixâ the card. I declined politely and stayed in my room the rest of the night barricading it. It just felt wrong. Carole must have felt the creepiness when Cary Stayner knocked on her door with his lame âexcuse.â Itâs ok to test all things to see if they are true. It could save our lives.
The saddest movie I've ever watched was "I know my first name is Steven." It's the story of the abduction of Steven Staynor, and it's so incredibly sad. It ends with his death from a hit and run accident. To know that his brother was responsible for the horrific deaths of these poor woman is absolutely devistating. I can't imagine how anyone could be so absolutely ruthless to do something like this, especially after what was done to his brother. I can only imagine how bad the Staynor family must have felt after learning of Carey's crimes. They ,too, are victims of what ultimately happened due to what Carey did.
Perhaps he didnât want his brother getting all the attention. He certainly knew nothing of empathy
I watched that movie when I was very young. It was terribly sad.
When this all happened and they revealed Cary was Steven Steynerâs brother, it was devastating. I think that family is cursed or something.
As a person who lives with PTSD, I would like to thank you. It's confusing to some people as to why I sleep with your stories playing.... and it's kind of hard for me to explain, but your voice is comforting, and as creepy as your stories are; they aren't my memories. One of my most disruptive symptoms is intrusive memories of the trauma at bedtime and you drown it out. The stories are engaging enough to distract my mind and your voice is soothing enough that I can sleep to it. I am quite sure that I am not the only person who uses your stories for this purpose, and I just want to say thank you. It's really very difficult for me to find material that actually works for me sleep wise (it seems to be exclusively creepy/true crime in story format with Male narrators). Thank you for uploading so prolifically. Honestly, the moment someone goes to rob you and says "this is just a robbery" and tries to tie people up, is when you fight for your life. From watching another youtube channel I learned that most of the time, robbers just want a quick victim to steal from and get out asap. If something like this happens, there are way more bad intentions involved. My mom always told me, if someone tries to force me to go to another location or tie me up, fight for my life because thats all I got left, and nothing else waits for me, other than a bad ending.
How would you fight unarmed
â@@YohananYGO They were in a motel room, which is a tight space. If all 3 of them had tried to counter attack they could have ripped the gun from him and turn the tables. That being said though, not everyone has the courage or empty handed skills to do such. But it still a very possible option rather than just being tied down waiting to die :\
You'd be surprised. Humans in general when presented with a choice between life and death, they'd choose life and grasp at it with the last of their strength. Only giving up when there is no out.
This is why psychopath goes out of their way to be friendly while tying people up to make them believe it is all just an inconvenience.
@@YohananYGO Run from a knife, always charge a gun. And if you have fists or anything around you that is dense then you can incapacitate and kill them. Even if the have a "better weapon". I would rather die on my feet than live on my knees. You will always die if you don't fight, if you do then at least you have a chance of survival aside from miraculous rescue by law enforcement.
Good comments here. Also start throwing things and screaming; create chaos and confusion. Easier to say than to do, of course. Confirm this visit with the front desk. We can at least learn from this and lessen our chances.
This could save your life:
Never, ever leave with your perpetrator. Bide your time, make the move. Do everything you can, even risking your life, to avoid leaving the abduction site. You have a near 100% statistical chance of death if you go with the perpetrator.
Number 2: Never, ever trust your perpetrator no matter what they tell you. Especially if they sexually assault you.
My dad tells me the same thing all the time and in my opinion he's right, I would rather die getting shot or stabbed or something than find out what my perpetrator will do to me later on.
Hh huh jjj hi pop pop poi pop pop ion
It's a bit difficult if there are more than one, and they have weapons too.
But I totally agree.
Once you leave the scene of the crime, it's difficult to find clues, as to where you are taken.
Also mom should never have let him into their hotel room. She could have confirmed with the desk first. It's tougher to say with the other woman at her cabin, but considering how isolated it was, I don't think I would have let him walk up on me. Another good reason to carry a gun. At least it gives you a fighting chance against these monsters
@Jax Haven't you been watching his videos? Every one of these psychopaths promised they weren't going to hurt the person. You absolutely don't know, and if you believe their lies, it will be too late by the time it plays out. Learn how to use a gun, carry one, use it if you have to. I'll take my chances by fighting, not by being submissive and begging, which is an aphrodisiac to them..
I remember this all to well Cary Stayner was caught near where I was living at the time, in Wilton northern California. Very Rural area he was staying at Del Sol, nudist resort. What I found beyond disturbing was the fact that Detectives actually asked Cary to help them, he gave them blankets and a few other items that they needed for fiber comparison. Also, while being questioned by the FBI, never once did officers ask to look in the backpack that Cary had with him. Turns out the bag had numerous notebooks with outrageous violent drawings! If they would had just taken a peek, Joie Ruth Armstrong would still be alive! That still breaks my heart!
At least they caught him before he went to kill his girlfriend and her family. They were incredibly lucky through all of this. I cannot understand how someone can go through the horror of having a loved one abducted, and then go do the same (and worse) to other people. His story is so disturbing.
How are cops that dumb, any one can have any evil intention at any time, why do they think they can trust someone they donât know well (like a parent, close friend etc)
@@joelschmierer3544 It wasn't really dumb to not search his bag. At the time he wasn't a suspect any more than any other employee of the hotel or park was. Word of advice, if a ârobberâ ever wants to tie you up/blindfold you, fight them. Idc if its to the death. If they tie you up they most likely will take you somewhere else and that can only mean terrible things. This story is so sad
Good advice. If a gun is ever pointed at you, rush the robber. They wonât expect you to not comply and it will catch them off guard, ultimately giving you the upper hand. Though if you are woman, this might be easier said than done, but it is possible. Aim for the nose when you tackle them, this will cause them to be in a state of shock and then wail on them until they are either unconscious or dead.
I always tell myself, if I find myself in a situation like this, act like a crazy bitch and attack.
I think we all do believe that we would just rush them, even knowing we could easily die. But I think in the momemt you will have hope that this extreme risk is not necessary and the other peroson will not really harm you. Because if you rush someone with a gun (or a weapon), chances are you are dead or badly wounded befor you could do much.
But I agree, if a robber wants to tie me up I would resist no matter what. At this point I would have to assume that I am dead either way. Beeing shot is hopefully faster.
đŻ in Krav Maga they say the same. Don't get in the car (or whatever they tell you). Once you are in the car it's over for you. Your chance is now.
I would like to believe I would know how to respond in such circumstances, God forbid I ever have to. But I totally agree, they better fulfill their threat, cause they're not subduing me without a fight. Imagine how 3 of them could've maneuvered this without getting tied up, despite there being a gun held against them. So sad.

His brother was abducted by a sick man who kept him from 7 to 14 years old and he escaped when the man brought another child. The kid said nope this ain't happenin no nobody else mfr. He escaped with the younger child on his back.
A lot of people like to blame anything they can, but the truth is some people are born sick and evil. Just like some people are born good natured.
@@GrandPrix46 What about those of us that are both? I love kids and animals among others. But "people" like this guy would be fun to get positively medieval on.
@@GrandPrix46 Nobody's born neither. You really are joining the ignorant side of the world. The ignorance IS the greatest evil in the world. And most of it is concentrated in US.
@@roadiejames wow I wish his brother would've turned out to be a hero like him
Another very sad but interesting story, amazingly well told!! So glad I stumbled across you!!
The fact that heâs scared of a man speaks volumes. What a pice of work.
My thoughts exactly; he hadn't the balls to do this to a woman and her 2 little daughters when another male was present but was ok to go after a lone woman and a group of 1 woman & 2 teenage girls. He's a disgusting coward.
@@eighthdoctor Exactly. Individuals like this are all cowards and pick vulnerable people as victims.
A real piece of work..đ
Look into Carey's family history....
Carey Staynor
The fact that this was his fantasy at age 7 shows some people are born psycho
Born evil more likely
he was traumtized because his elder brother was kidnapped
I don't think his brother being kidnapped would've put these urges in him. That's a weak excuse.
@@oystersoup3434 well maybe but that can cause people to have problems (specially kids)
Well, we do live in a fallen world...people are evil, immoral demonic ,satanic
