Landpride QH15 or Titan QH1? Is one better? Will one work with Tajfun Logging winch 35A

  • I like the Quick hitch operation to make it simpler to connect an implement to the tractor 3 point arms. Purchased a 35A skidding winch by Tajfun and discovered some things about connecting a quick hitch to the winch.
Video is intended to point out some differences between the black Titan QH1 quick hitch and the orange Landpride QH15 quick hitch and what may be needed to use a quick hitch with a Tajfun EGV 35A logging winch.

Am using the Titan Qh1 and the top link adapter as a better - stronger connection to the top link of the winch. Jump toward the end 17:00 minute mark to see. Love the winch.

Possibly a quick hitch made for cat2-3 instead of cat 1-2?

They changed the qh15 into the qh16 and in doing so they changed the size where the hitch pins fit and the width. Landpride really screwed up. The qh16 barely fits my landpride implements and on one I had to grided the cat1 hitch pin sides down so this would fit. Some great meathead of an idiot had to change it. If it ain't broke down fix it.

Maybe. Thought cat2 lift arms are wider than cat1.

Obviously this implement is not quick hitch compatible.

Land Prides tells you in the quick hitch manuals that Land Pride quick hitches are not made to fit all makes of implements. A Land Pride hitch certainly is not made to fit a Taifun winch. So, why are you trying to make it fit? Not a great video. Great effort, but flawed reasoning. It is like trying to fit a Ford engine part on a Chevy. You can machine the part to make it fit, but why would you want to do that? Even if you can make it work, that does not mean it is a good idea. In fact, it is kind of ridiculous. That seems logical. You think?
