I just bought the qh05 today for my bx1880. Haven't got to try it out, yet. I hope it doesn't disappoint. I had to travel a bit to get one. All local dealers were sold out. I can hardly wait. Bad thing about it is all I have so far is a bb1248 box blade. I hope to get more soon
It's definitely worth it. The $120 quick hitch from Harbor Freight does the job good. I have 1000 lbs of counterweight on it. Don't use the $30 bushings, use the $3 sleeves. Remove the bolts from the top hook and put in quick easy to move pins instead. Now when I buy implements I just make sure that they will match up to it. Get an adapter plate with spaced-out pinholes for the top for some of the implements .
I have the qh10 and it’s worth it’s weight in gold. Changing implements is super fast. The only one that deals me trouble is the tiller. And it’s completely manageable.

The QH10 has been specifically designed for Cat. It features non-standard lower lugs that eliminate the need for bushings in most cases. Most implements on the CAT. 1 you should be fine. Correct no adjustable top hook on the others which can be nice with other non branded implements and for adjusting as well. The floating top link is an option on all quick hitches, but I see it typically used for the finish mower as there could be other applications as well, but mainly that. Thanks again!

I saw your video. In May of 2020, I purchased a new KUBOTA MX5400. Is there a Quick Hitch for my Tractor? If so, what Model and Price? Second, I've heard I'll have to always use Shimes? Is this true? Thank you.
Hey thanks for the comment. The QH20 is what fits the MX series due to it being a Cat. 2. Price on these seem to be in that $700 range. The spacers are being used because that tractor can run a lot of Cat. 1 implements and spacers would be needed. If the Mount pins on the implement were larger like a Cat. 2 you wouldn’t need spacers of course. So really the spacers get used often on Cat. 2 tractors especially that size frame with it running implements in the Cat. 1 setup. Hope that helps- thanks!
The QH10 of QH15 would fit your tractor just fine. The QH15 is what we tend to sell the majority of for that tractor. It’s Cat.1 and has the adjustable top hook. Some implements may require bushings but not too often. Hope that helps.

3:05 what is the argument that people that buy some quick hitch are stuck paying for some expensive quick hitch adapter kits and $30-$40 for a set of two that you have to put on each implement if you can just buy some of those sleeves that you show at this time stamp? Seems like it's a lot cheaper work around than buying new pins and retrofitting all of your implements when you can just buy a dozen of those sleeves and accomplish the same thing for way less price.
I dont get it. I have no issue hooking up my implements the traditional way. The little bit of time it saves doesn't make sense to me. I guess I could see it if people struggle with connecting or if they're changing out implements a lot and doing it for work rather than at home. I imagine it takes away a little lift capacity though. Kinda like holding weight away from your body.
Hooking up mine is a real pain. I have no perfectly level ground at all so there can be a bit of drift when I get off the tractor. May only be an inch but the drift can get it out of line. Really hard to wind up in perfect alignment. I wind up pushing the implement with a slate bar to get it in line.
Seriously, you can't imagine someone having problems hooking up a 8 foot bushhog, a 7 foot rototiller or being older with not so flexible back or young back, or not having experience, eyesight or any other of the dozens of reasons why someone would have problems hooking up their equipment? Really? Sounds like you're just bragging.
why are the cat 1 always require a sleeve or busshing to make it cat 2? it is supposed to be cat 1, why not just make it cat 1? seems to be a counter cost design to require more $$ for sleeves for every implement....
Thanks for the comment. It really depends on your implement and tractor. If your tractor is Cat. 1, your implements will be Cat. 1. There are different Quick Hitches to fit appropriate tractors in which has the right Cat. Hitch. Most quick hitches come with sleeves as well to help with any slop or play that may be on the implement. The MX series is one that could take both options and would require sleeves due to the different Cat. Implements and options available.
They changed the qh15 into the qh16 and in doing so they changed the size where the hitch pins fit and the width. Landpride really screwed up. The qh16 barely fits my landpride implements and on one I had to grided the cat1 hitch pin sides down so this would fit. Some great meathead of an idiot had to change it. If it ain't broke down fix it.
I have new QH 15 & BB1260 all land pride. Problem they do not connect easily. Center top hook to pin while lifting bottom will not center on bushings , ft 1/2". Very disappointed .QH not wide enough at bottom. I'm disgusted & pissed, these are brand new from Kubota dealer. All land pride.
Sorry to hear that. There are some different adjustments that can be made. May be worth checking with your local dealer to see if they have any suggestions or could help set it up with your tractor. Thanks
