SPINEL AND COLLECTOR KINNIES RISE‼️
this was definitely a hard one to edit, because seriously, they hit really close to home and hoo boy, abandonment trauma still stings !
Spinel and Collie are definitely two of my favourite characters in the world though, love them to death!!!!! and it makes me so happy seeing them side by side.

They rlly are so similar, it’s just that the collector didn’t try to kill abunch of people or get revenge, he instead tried his best to make friends, especially with king. I love them both so much man

Ok but I literally had the same thought. They’re the same character with different levels of power. Also, I think Spinel’s ending was a happier than the collectors

I think the collector got a pretty good happy ending.
Yeah, one ended in a co dependent relationship and the other decided to leave all his friends but only to so he can work on his self growth
spinel's ending is fit for steven universe, but the collector's ending is more realistic

Both Spinel and Collector went through a similar situation where they were both abandoned and betrayed. These 2 could totally relate to each other. They both been through so much pain and they deserve each other as friends.

Honestly I think if Spinel, Collector, and Mommy Long Legs from "Poppy Playtime" ever met, they literally wouldn't need anyone else.
Collector would get a good parental figure who would teach him everything he needed to know about mortals and morals. Mommy would finally get to be with a kid that won't be taken from her. Spinel would get a twin and a playmate.
All three of them are lonely. All three had been abandoned. All three like to play games.
They would make a perfect team.

I find it funny how the different aspects of Spinal were appropriated by different people. Obviously the personality and backstory were by The Collector in the Owl House, the design and abilities by Mommy Long Legs in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2.
I am not trying to devalue Owl House or Poppy Playtime, I love both of those, and am aware of the differences, but I found it funny.
I can relate with Spienl and Collecter a lot
when he was 1st introduced (before he was freed) to me he felt like Discord or Bill Cypher but when they developed his abandonment issues and backstory in For The Future & Watching & Dreaming it instantly clicked Spinel for me, it's wasn't even only what's show in this video, that was just the most apparent part but they were both abandoned by those who were supposed to take care of them, they were both lied to about playing a game, they both became jealous of the friends of they're supposed best friend, they both kept being manipulated even after they came in to play in the show (not their backstory) with Spinel by Steven & The Collector by King & Belos and so much more

how she was looked down on as a "needy kid" and misstreated how she threw temper tantrums and stuff
