I learned a bit in this one. I wish someday (soon) all these contracted reaction channels on CZcams get busted. It's unfair that reactors like you don't get credit just because you're independent.

Zager & Evans In The Year 2525, excellent song for a reaction video! Was #1 in 1969!

The year was 1969 and I was 15 years old. This song, which had come out that summer, played all the time on the jukebox in the pizza parlor I and my friends hung out at. Haven't heard it probably since then. And all these years later it is still burned into my memory.

I was 5 years old when this came out, and I remember this song kinda scaring the crap out of me... LOL! It's such an ominous song, especially for a young child like myself!

This tune is more prophetic than most people care to think. Just sayin'. I LOVE your reaction, especially the potatoes and apples thing. I totally get it. Thank both of you...!

If this song doesn't make you think nothing will.

When you think of one hit wonders this is the song, but was it prophetic?

I was 8 years old when this song came out, I'm 60 now, it is a pretty prophetic song, makes one who hears it truly think about where we may be heading if we keep going the way we are, it's awesome seeing younger people hearing this song for the very first time and seeing them see the message in this song as I did as a kid for the 1st time in 1969

    When music was simple

Just info BY LISTENING TO THIS SONG THIS GROUP PREDICTED ALL OF THIS WHAT IS GOING TODAY , THERE WAS NO WAY FOR THEM TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON TODAY .

Your words are so true and relevant. But mankind is too greedy and arrogant

I find the lyrics scary. If it was up to me, I'd ban artificial intelligence as a robotic worker or replacement.
    I like Taylor Swift too.

The 60s had a little bit of everything. Good song bad song is in the ear of the listener. About this time rock and roll moved into the drug culture And I moved to country music. The two merged in the 70s and mostly I listen to my old favorites now, with some newer exceptions.

As a science fiction geek kid, I loved it, number one as the Apollo moon landing was happening . And this Nebraska duo are the only artists in musical history (so far) to top the charts in the US and the UK, and never have a charting single in either country for the remainder of thier career. They did lose their status as the last band alphabetically to top those charts until 2015 in the UK (David Zowie) and 2016 in the US (Zayn).

Perhaps the worst rock song in history.
