With due respect Ranjit, this should have been your first smartphone video. What is missing in a lot of CZcams channels is the "HOW TO DO BASIC SMARTPHONE RELATED THING"! 99.9% are the latest tech reviews only. But this information is a pre-requisite to having a good Android experience. I have personally asked you about it many times and finally, today, this fine very day I can exclaim with happiness and Thank you for what you finally have done! :)

What appears to be unclear to me in this process of data transfer to a new android phone is whether it is done with the old sim card in the original android phone while a new sim card is in the new android phone, considering the fact that one intends to continue using the old sim with the new android phone.

06:20 (old phone) Google > set up nearby device
07:18 (new phone) don't hit skip button > downloading apps (1 hr)
09:40 (new phone) SMS, call logs restore > G Cloud backup (1-4 min)
12:45 (new phone) Whatsapp > insert SIM! > restore button

I want to backup all of my data in memo and restore it on my new phone (I think it will be easier on Samsung).

Hi Ranjit, I have a problem with the back up and restore, hope you can help me. So I am getting a new phone on an exchange offer which means i will have to hand over the old phone when i receive the new one, hand to hand. therefore my back up and restore has to work without having to pair both the devices. You can understand when the new phone arrives, i will have to have my old phone ready with a complete data erase. is there a way to do this without having to do a 'detect nearby device' thing?

I would just install "clone it" app and migrate everything at once. no downloading or hectic procedures required.. just migrated data to mom's Redmi note 4. works perfectly fine!

This is me fulfilling my promise, he’s my favorite after so many heartbreaks. which is the best android wear watch with all fitness activities?
I had a mirror filter on one of my older phones and I loved it. Can I transfer just that filter to the phone that I'm using now they are both Androids. Google play store has a mirror filter but it's not interactive with my camera phone, in that the edit can only be done after the picture is taken but no creative licenses is given during the photography process and that is what I need.
