@@Vileinist Dude, do you still exist? Another channel perhaps? You are an amazing inspiration. I'm a metal head with a violin. But I'm slow. So i play DooM mostly. Never had a lesson. Just a metal head with a violin, heavy strings and an oktave pedal. Being so old of a video i would love to hear where you are at now on violin. You are amazing at this rekording. Salute from NorKal USA 🤘🪦🎻🪦🤘
It certainly does. Can you imagine hearing this played by a full symphony orchestra? Chick was absolutely brilliant. One thing I like about his writing is that you can totally listen to him grown and learn as both a player and writer when you go through his entire catalog. Listen to 'Scream Bloody Gore' and go right through to 'Sound of Perseverance"...and you will hear him mature into a brilliant writer and player. I consider 'Human' to be the point where he totally hit his stride and became brilliant..and where he cemented his legacy as being 'THE man'..the best. But there are flashes of that brilliance in 'Spiritual Healing'. The guy was absolutely incredible. There are very few musicians that I hold in the high regard that I do with Chuck.
Funny thing, Chuck actually used to collect old violins. Great version of this song beside, love hearing metal played on instruments different than just guitar/bass/drums.
Chuck was a Genius I always thought that what Death was creating was a symphony played by a Metal Band also if you listen to this its based on Hebrew way of playing (that is fantasticly magnified Because of Violin) thumbs up
It's true, that's the reason Death it isn't easy to play at all. Can you imagine a big Symphonic playing all Death songs? Chuck would be so proud. Genius of the twenty century.
I actually logged into, which I never do, to say this was absolutely awesome, even inspirational. I loved it. It really sounds beautiful the way you play it. Love it man. You should take pride in your ability to play a classic instrument like that.
Always wondered if you could cover certain types of music this way and let older people give it a listen, then ask if it scares em or not. Then let them have at the original
Funny thing that I've done this. People always ask me what music I'm into. Death always come to my mind, but I always sent first the cover of Without Judgement of Silenzium and then the actual song. It always get em haha
That was so beautiful !!!!!! Great job man I hope one day some metalheads like you will do metal concerts with the full orchestra.....omg it would be mindblowing
Absolutely brilliant. I have been saying for the last 2.5 decades (as long as I have been proficient on guitar) that skilled/virtuoso metal and prog metal guitar players are the closest musicianship-wise to symphony orchestra/classical players. The top metal players are phenomenal musicians. To someone who didn't know that this was a Chuck Schuldiner, Death song, would totally think and believe that this was a piece specifically written for a symphony. From Human (and even a lot of Spiritual Healing) onward, the stuff Chuck came up with and wrote was absolutely brilliant.
wooow men, you blew my mind, I never thought in my life of violin playing this piece of song, congrats men, you really nailed it, thanks for spending time on this!!!
Man you really understand the intention on the song!!! you project all the of emotions what Chuck print in this song great interpretation !!! congratulations
here you can perfectly see why chuck has to be one of the best musicians ever. his songs sound nice in every genre. i bet that even an electro version would sound great.
I'm once again glad the algorithm showed me this video. Incredible performance from your part, truly a testament to the talent of Chuck and yours as well
this goes to show the complex nature of chucks music. when violinist and piano players take the time to learn it. it doesn't matter what instrument you play it on it still is beyond awesome. how many other artist could you say that about? he may not be with us anymore but his music will live forever.
creative, unique, one of the best covers I've ever heard of this song. I especially appreciate how the violins timbre emphasize how melodic Chuck's writing style was.
you know what? i want to see a whole orchestra playing that. the low D palm mutes pronounced with kettle drums, tubas as fill ins, violins playing harmonies and whatnot. would be one of the most epic sounding things ever. just imagine! i think i'll try to make a transcription and see if i could convince the guy from our school orchestra. could be a shitlot of work, but i'll try it!
This is truly amazing. Just shows how chuck was a great musician. This is good music; when you change instruments and you can still make a good song (even in a violin)
The Pre-Chorus made me tear up and gave me chills. It was so peaceful and beautiful. Excellent job dude! A HQ mic and your playing would sound amazing. Love it!
Watching you peel off that solo was a treat!! Some parts are like the dark Frankiinulaesque old Transylvania and others are Asian ballad-ish! Way cool! DeusVult!!
I love watching covers of metal songs with classical instruments it just proves that metal isn't "just noise"
People who say its "just noise" have no ear for complex melodies and rhythm.
@@falcoperegrinus82 it's exactly this
It also proves, how close metal and classical music fit together
metal it is noise
a good one
And classics metalhead

I don't know why a 12 years old video is in my feed but i'm glad it is
Proof of how beautiful Chuck's work really is. As a fellow metalhead and violinist, I commend you, sir!
All Chuck´s songs reflect deep and strong emotions full of feeling
Maybe you can cover one of Chucks beautiful work.
And i really love to hear it
I love how Death's music can sound just as beautiful when played on classical instruments. Chuck's composing was damn impeccable.
Sounds straight up sad and depressing...
Beautiful....
This honestly deserves millions of views.

So true

This is the dude I want to see playing outside of my grocery store. Awesome!!!
inspirational. and it shows how complex the work of chuck schuldiner was instead of just being noisy metal he put a lot of work into his composition
For a guy who said didn't learn theory he sure wrote some pretty complex music
What an amazing talent this guy has. I hope he pursues music and actually makes his dreams and passions come true.
Let the Violin Flow!!
That's literally the first cover video that truly impresses me, congrats.
Flood search up “voice of the soul cello cover” it’s pretty awesome
Vkgoeswild (name on youtube) plays a lot of metal covers in piano. Chuck's things, too.
What is this salty discharge coming out of my eyes? That was beautiful. If only Chuck could have heard you play before he passed away.

Great job on that solo. Just great.
Literally tears filled up my eyes..
RIP Chuck and you did this excellent brother... Keep on doing
A mi tambien
Esto fue sublime
Chuck was actually a fan of violins he had miniature violins hanging up on his wall, he would be proud of this cover !
So great. This makes me want to play violin.
Would love to hear this being played by a string quartet!
Solo (not tap) and riff at 0:34 etc. sound so beautiful
my man even played the solo, im crying
And then, 11 years later this comes up in my feed.
Great.
The transition from high to low in the "is that how it's done" section sounds hauntingly good on violin.
This is one of the best thing I ever heard...
I normally don't like this kind of thing, but this is pretty cool.
Absolutely beautiful... I had to hold back some tears.
Chuck would be proud :D
Chuck wasn’t just a great guitarist and vocalist. He was a great composer. This is proof
Remembering that's just ONE violin. Imagine that with an orchestra...
INFLICTING WOUNDS WITH A CROSSTURNED DAGGER
Just freakin awesome, bro! Chuck is proud...for sure!!
Beautifully done, record a whole album of Death with multiples violins and strings, PLEASE!!!!!!!!
Seria fantastico 😍
So fucking brutal.
I actually logged into, which I never do, to say this was absolutely awesome, even inspirational. I loved it. It really sounds beautiful the way you play it. Love it man. You should take pride in your ability to play a classic instrument like that.
Its almost like it was made for violin. Its so beautiful. So rare.
this is the best cover i have ever heard
Always wondered if you could cover certain types of music this way and let older people give it a listen, then ask if it scares em or not. Then let them have at the original
Chucks composing was very classically based so I wouldn't doubt, as the video can prove it translates great on different instruments.
Funny thing that I've done this. People always ask me what music I'm into. Death always come to my mind, but I always sent first the cover of Without Judgement of Silenzium and then the actual song. It always get em haha

What a beautiful melody arrangement. Thank you Chuck.
Thats fucking bad ass. I didnt realize how good it would sound on a fiddle. Your a beast
This actually sounds sick on violin.
Awesome!
it hears so ghostly... nice work :D
This is truly amazing. Just shows how chuck was a great musician. This is good music; when you change instruments and you can still make a good song (even in a violin)
***** You could cover literally any song using a guitar with a violin.
