Man that wasn't a brick. That was an entire house. And the guy still won
Full House
Dr. House
Road House
Bruh they play swordsoul, ofc they won.
House of Bricks
Using Ash as a hand trap
Me:I sleep
Using Ash as a tuner
Me: Real stuff
I played synchron. I use It sometimes as a tuner or for junk converter effect, Same with veiler 😂
When you have brickhands every draw feels like destiny draw
Sometimes, you find out that your "brick" hand was divine providence. I got a hand of three spells and three traps once in the first Yu-Gi-Oh GX PS2 game...against Zane Truesdale. Thankfully, one was Magic Cylinder while another was Negate Attack, and he summoned Cyber Twin Dragon with Power Bond. I just had to throw his first attack back at him and negate his second, and Power Bond wiped him out; all in about a minute and a half! It was like my deck had its arms crossed at me going, "Brick, you say? Just shove it somewhere painful!" It was the fastest win I ever had...and I still have trouble believing it.
@@DarkPegasus87 Gotta admit, that’s anime level of amazing.
@@DarkPegasus87 Zane is always an annoyance to deal with, I had to get rid of his Jinzo three separate times, it used up a lot of our decks' resources so we were drawing for awhile till I barely won after he stole one of the monsters I drew.
@@justanotherviewer9643: One of the reasons I prefer decks that are varied is because they are so versatile. I don't like sticking to one strategy. I like a deck with different types and a wide array of effects so that it's like I'm playing with Tarot cards. With each card drawn, the strategy could change entirely. It's all to avoid that insufferable endless draw because you don't have options. It's also the best way to defeat Kalin in WC 2010. When every draw matters, it doesn't hurt so much when you start with no cards in your hand. Also, it's hard to have a deck weakness when your strategy can shift on a whim.
@@DarkPegasus87 I feel so similar with a "brick hand" I had...I had a rank up match, and I lost the coin toss but my opponent let me go first. He was playing Numeron...anyway, my hand was bricked. But it was actually a good thing, maybe. I set some backrow, and my opponent activated some draw cards, including I believe Into the Void. Well, he summoned the 4 Numeron XYZ with the field spell up, but because I had no monsters, none of the Numerons could activate their effects! The kicker is he had Limiter Removal, which meant he had 8K damage regardless...BUT! When he was activating draw cards, he activated Upstart Goblin, which meant I survived with 1000 lp!
Since he used Into the Void, he had to discard his hand in the end phase! This meant I didn't have have worry about any hand traps as next turn I would be able to make an XYZ and clear his field (he went into Megaclops).
So it's possible my "brick hand" actually saved me, I distinctly remember seeing him discard a Maxx C and I think I may have seen an Ash as well.
I like to believe there's a little Leperchaun at Konami that says, "He's winning too much hit the brick button." 😂
thats probably truer than you think.
I bet the opponent was thinking "I can't believe he drew all 3 effect veilers what a sack"
Better than using Infinite Impermanence, then immediately having your opponent rage quit when you broke their combo. 😂😂😂
Full House is always a winning hand😂
🎵Everywhere you look, everywhere you go🎶
Worst part is that it's true. Strong hand!
3 branded fusion fizzles, very satisfying
Honestly, the really cool part here is using Ash Blossom as a tuner. It's even cooler in Generaiders where you also use the fact that she's a zombie to bring her back with Hela after actually using her as a handtrap.
That's why Swordsoul syncros are so good. They are as generic as they come
When you have a brick in your hand, just throw it at the opponent.
Comment award for this video goes to you lol
Rather throw a Nuke
You can't throw it to them if its a God Card.
"These are perfect hands"
Welcome to how playing every deck that isn't meta feels like. Sometimes Konami doesn't even allow you to activate card effects even when there's nothing stopping you from doing so.
Very true honestly it's so dumb. That's why I uninstalled Master Duel and started using the Nexus.
The being unable to activate card effects thing has robbed me of many duels 😭
can you do some examples?
@@edoardopalmer2379 the field spell for that earth fairy deck can stop you from activating their effects. Another example is that the ghoti effects might not let you activate them if you don’t activate them the first time they appear from the graveyard. Those are just the ones off the top of my head though
Set chain to ON, not AUTO. Should fix your problem
Ash Blossom acting as an emergency Tuner Monster will never fail to amuse me.
That's the thing about all of those "X and X" handtraps - they're ALL tuners (except Droll). Good thing to keep in mind if you also have some monsters in the deck that can hit the field at the same time as them, say with a self-special summon effect. Might just save your ass!
I've had duels with my brother like that. We both bricked hard for 3 rounds. Went back to old-school yugioh of set 1 monster and 1 spell/trap and pass
The good ol days
@@aberidha6489 ngl no it wasnt games was 2 long when started ritual and synchro thats was good 👌
The opp was probably thinking "Oh that's why he didn't do shit for two turns"
I would have been so pissed when my opponent drew that many handtraps lol
I literally only watch these videos so I can hear "NEGATE!"
The heart of the cards guide him to victory.
And then you get the perfect hand but your opponent just gives up
Damn, the full power of Kamen rider Negateo! Never thought I'd see the day.
This is why you use monsters that can be sent into the graveyard to easily summon them on your field.
That anti-climatic end.
Bro, at least take that L like a f***in' man, dude. Don't surrender.
This is the only channel youtube allows me to watch someone have a full brick in hand and proceed to murder a mf with it...
That actually happened to me couple times for pendulum I was so fed up with it that even though the cards are super good. When you get them but for that opening hand and being bricked isn't worth it.
your average opponent opening hand :
Maxx C
Ash blossom
called by the grave
effect veiler
💀
When they have a self mill deck with 60 cards and somehow always magically start with grass is greener: 🤨
@@FractalNinja and it's limited to 1 too 😑😑😑
Player sees opening hand "OK, I can work with this"
Nevwr knew veiler wasn't once per turn
It takes multiple bricks to create a wall.
Yeah, definitely have been in that position of "oh, you're going first? Here's all your hand traps and going second cards without a single starter. Have fun!".
Kudos to the winner for persevering in spite of the bad opening hand.
😂 many would have quit when they have a brick hand but when you have a way to bounce back miracles happens
When you literally get a full house
Not a brick when you use every card as intended.
That's... something
Summary of this video: NEGATE
Negating Verte twice was hilarious
NEGATE 😂 i love it lol
I gora adimt, as much as I hare SoulSwords, been able to come back from that awful break?
GG 👍
0:00 I can relate…3 maxx and 2 call by the grave happened to me 🥲🥲🥲
This brick is question but broken opponents hand
You knee-gated the crap out of him lmao
that Dekayed negate sound effect is too funny
His opponent bricked too.
Branded buster blade..... i saw a lot but this is a first one.
I would’ve left the game then & there if I had that opening hand & drew another handtrap
Bricking with handtraps is something that really irritates me
running 3 veilers is crazy 😂
Looked like brick turned out to be a 1 ton anvil
I swear in master duel, when one person bricks, so does the other.
It's a full house of trap hand in there 😂😂😂😂
Full house....
How were you able to summon Adhara while in control of an effect monster?
it's been a long time since I see so many turns.
WOO FULL HOUSE! PAY UP FOOLS... whaddaya mean wrong game?
When you can't play, your opponent can't either
I'm surprised that first guy didn't scoop when he have break hand😅!
Take those bricks and build a nice foundation and a house, they are super reliable and strong.
the feels when you have to realise that your oponent bricks with hand traps
Literally CYAC format
Had this same exact thing happen to me the other day, made baronne with vishuda and ash, then sat on every hand trap in my deck and my opponent scooped 🤣
If the rival started with a different hand, another would be the result 😢
You could have summoned Adhara (and consequently Monk of Tenyi) in MP1
If you can't play the game, your opponent can't either
-Random Ra yellow duelist
I refuse to run 3 Ash Blossoms in my deck anymore because I always end up drawing 2 of them turn one in 80% of my games, it’s absolutely infuriating.
The next draw i'll draw the polymerization and I'll summon effect veiler with 3 heads
Today, the brick hands are for 4 or 5 handstraps in the hand
What’s a brick hand if you need 1 starter card to get a level 10 synchro out with barely any cost stil don’t understand how Konami can justify cards like that
It’s called powercreep. The game has gone from 3+ card combos down to 1 card combos. In cases like Duel Links, 0 card combos
Perhaps you prefer watching your opponent build his board for five minutes?
It wasn't a 1 card starter. He special summoned a lv 7 and then normal summoned Ash Blossom, which is also a tuner for some reason. That's a 2 card combo
Hmmmmm so that's the opening hand of my opponent every time they spam ash and other negates every turn.
Its pretty rare to see a player playing buster blader
Does anyone know how to search the version of music play in the background. That organ really hit me hard.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Camula theme
He bricked up 😈
ah yes normal summon EV and link away to anime experience
i should send u my crazy toon replays. sometimes more bricky look like hands can still win against tear
Pure skill, keeping the one Ash
The way I see it is if you can’t play neither can they.
During one of my duels on Ranked running a Galaxy-Eyes deck, my starting hand had 3 ash blossoms. 😭
I onced opened with bricks so I activated Maxx c in hopes to unbrick. The 2 cards I drew that turn? Two Maxx c's
3 vailer one ash and one circular is the best hand for a mathmech player 😂
both got total brick xD
Thats not a hand, thats a FOOT!
When you open bricks, throw them at your opponent. They cant win if they are knocked out
What part of that hand made it a brick? You got 5 negates, you'd have to royalty screw up to lose that.
Odd so it's in zexal where *insert card name here* only once per turn
It’s not a brick if your opponent can’t play the game.
I faced someone who had max, ash, imper, call, and dark ruler, and I just quit I’m didn’t get past the first monster I placed
Average Silver rank duel
This why I always say anything can happen in yugioh. Its not always about whos more skilled because its noway he should of won but he did
Well. That hand is what happens when you run nothing but negates.
You think that's bad? My hand in a game was 5 Trap cards, none of which could be activated unless I had an Earthbound Immortal on the field.
Yes, I was playing an Earthbound deck.
I mean this hand shuts down most decks tbh
I NEGATE see NEGATE no NEGATE problem NEGATE here NEGATE
When I get a Bricked hand, I use it as a defensive tool. Remember this when you get one.
I love defensive plays they are usually unique to the hand, one of the few reasons I fell in love playing Yu-Gi-Oh
ATLEAST SET A VEILER
Brick vs Brick lol
Wait why the fuck would he run triple Effect Veiler? That actually is a waste of deck slots
What's the name of the soundtrack?
Oh nice a Full house
Opened 3 Maxx c and 2 called by against floo. Didn't go well
pretty expected when you put 9, NINE , hand traps in a deck tbh
whats name the BGM ?
not a brick. thats just turn 2 nuts
That’s all this shit is NEGATE!!!!
How about both players having nothing but brick hands for several turns. Happened to me once.
