That's an awesome question! Since I haven't done any testing myself to have a definitive answer, I think I'll follow up shortly with a video where we really test that out properly.
For the moment, I'll say that I haven't personally noticed any reduction in volume. In fact, I've moved to these hoses exclusively for draining water heaters as well as for general personal use. I wouldn't have switched to them on the job if I felt it was causing the jobs to take longer. I don't get paid by the hour 😂
