  • Its masking noise with a boost at 6 kHz that may help people with tinnitus ringing near to this frequency. 6000 Hz latest in the T masking series, the idea is to introduce a new and different sound close to the ringing frequency that will potentially distract the mid away from the ringing. Sometimes it helps, sometimes, not. That is why there is a series of noises with frequency boosts, sweeping and noise colors, and natural sounds to choose from. Everybody's tinnitus ringing is unique as there are billions of possibilities with the mind's neural network of 'wiring'.
    Creation Process:
    I started with a noise similar to Blue Noise: • Blue Noise Ambient Hig... and then customized it more to my liking. A 6000 Hz boost was added, by request to help people with ringing near this frequency. The creation was made in "The Noise Machine" a ProTools DAW with the help of third party Universal Audio plug-ins. The sound is manipulated and tested (with long listening sessions) until it appeals to my ears.
    About Dale:
    I'm a 4-decade audio professional with tinnitus, probably from concert sound, music performance and making thousands of records in the studio. I began creating and recording noise a decade ago as a sonic escape from traditional music. I'm glad so many of you have come along on this journey.
    Thanks for listening, Dale

    Foolishly ate chocolate and drank Wine.. That catapaults my Tinnitus which is like a screaming piercing electronic high pitched ekectronic signal right in the center of my head. Got this on to mask the scream Thanks for making these videos Dale.. In my case almost all of the problems I get with tinnitus are dietary. Absolutely 100%. But most doctors and Ent specialists have not got a clue about how your diet can affect Tinnitus. Perhaps others may have the same problem. Now I have boosted my Tinnitus it will stay with me at high squeeling level for about a week. If I'm lucky it may subside slightly. Suffering with Tinnitus is like being tortured from within. Terrible disease. Hope a cure comes soon. Take care everyone. Royston.

    Thank you Dale. God thanks I found it. What a relief.
    Once I was a musician in a local band for several .... decades. You know, rehearsals in a confine places, garages, amps cranked up up to "11". I am (was) the keyboard guy. The "one" sitting in the corner (the corners accumulate a lot of bass tones). I almost exactly remember the time when I got that piercing pain in the head first time - it was during the outdoor gig. We all were cranked up to the max. . It was many years ago. I was to stupid to wear any ear protection nor understand to that damage to the hearing system is permanent. Sitting right on my Roland KC500, happy face, playing the cover of our best rock songs. Now, I am afraid to wake up - this horrific buzzing sound, every day, every hour, every minute.
    Sometimes I looking for my Nord keyboard - I am afraid of even to think of me playing at the volume. The volume it is something which scares me.
    My neurologist said - no cure. Just try to not think of it. "Don't chase it". But I cannot. How to Not chase the subject when the subject is about your own head? - then I found your channel. I subbed. I thank you for your work. Great Job!.
    Your channel brought me temporary but immediate relief. Great job and great idea. Thought your job, as a musician, I almost can see your pain and the reason why you have created this. Thank you again. - Furrie.

    • @dalesnale
      @dalesnale  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Cheers Furriee. As a sometimes performer to this day, I err on the side of lower volume from my monitor mix, and reaching for the sound. I have dabbled with in-ears performing, and mixed for many musicians who swear by them, because, the musician can turn the volume lower and block out the volume of the stage wash. The more performers on in-ears, the less overall stage volume. Most often. I try to perform with musicians that keep the volume in check, maybe getting loud for an epic moment, however bringing it back down afterward. This is more enjoyable for everybody in the venue. A recent personal observation, I do not fully understand, is playing live sometimes minimizes my tinnitus for a time as if the brain is satisfied with the sounds it heard and need not code for tinnitus.

    Lamentablemente y a mi edad 73 años no creo que lo pueda estudiar. De todos modos voy a escúchalo aunque mi frecuencia anda en torno de los 7.000/8000 hz. Agradezco su trabajo para lo que padecemos está enfermedad..Es muy valioso y profesional su trabajo..solo me queda una inquietud que es saber si sus frecuencias son neuromodulas. Vivo en Argentina un hermoso país del continente sudamericano. Que Dios lo bendiga y que tenga Ud, su familia y equipo un excelente año 2023.

Thanks for the info at the beginning of your videos too, I have learned so much! My tinnitus was caused by 4 months of increasingly more dangerous antibiotics to treat a MRSA infection I picked up visiting my Uncle in a Veterans nursing home. 🫤I almost lost my leg to MRSA.

    For now I m wondering what the sound quality will be for such a little 6khz issue and the convenance of the back noise they will input in the ear prothese...

    Hi Dale, Stumbled upon your videos and have found them quite helpful. I do have a question. Is there any valid reason why you don't fade your videos to black shortly after your intro? I'm asking because while the visuals I've seen so far are quite good, I'm guessing most who click play do so for the benefit the audio provides, and are not necessarily watching the screen while listening. I try to use your videos to sleep (I play them on the T.V., but find the visuals too bright & distracting and therefore defeats the purpose. Thank you for your work but wanted to ask (no disrespect intended), as I'm sure others have the same issue. If you could possibly consider a change I'm sure many in the T-community would be very grateful - as we already are.

      I 💯 agree. I find them great but my need for these is more so at night when trying to sleep, having the illuminated screen on my tv only makes for one more unwanted intrusion.
