  • A coalition of 36 food pantries across Dane County is calling on the community to address the challenges of rising food insecurity.
"They are families. They are households. They are people who are working in our communities, we have people every day who come to our food pantry in what they wore to work for the day with their name tags on," said Ellen Carlson, Executive Director of WayForward Resources. "We have people with disabilities, people who have all kinds of needs. Hunger is everywhere, and so our clients are everyone in our community."

School board will have two referendums to increase property taxes on the November ballet, and the Mayor will have a third referendum on the Nov ballet to try and make up for her $27 million budget deficit. Combined with inflation that is hitting locals hard
