A piece of Velcro, on the back of the unit and on the guitar body, you only need the smallest piece, that will stop it spinning.
Great job! Very helpful. Think I will be ordering this tomorrow. Thanks for taking the time!
Sully builds some nice Sleds! And you my friend, are very professional and informative! Subscribed!
this is very informative! thank you so much for doing this. I'm also an xvive user here. cheers!
Great review. Thank you!
Hello Perf, I have an Idea about the loose/turning around transmitter, I actually did it already, I changed my input jack to Neutrik locking Input, then used velcro on 1 side of the transmitter and another on my guitar. With that, there is no chance that the transmitter will fall off my guitar nor will it turn around. I am using NUX B2 by the way, almost the same as xvive.
Thanks for sharing Sir Perf
i was looking for a cheap wireless solution last month. wish i've known about this earlier. but anyways... great recommendation & review video Perf. Cheers man & God bless
Velcro tabs for securing X-Vive to guitar...but you have probably realized that by now. AAAAAAAAND...You rock !
Love the Sully!
Hi sir perf. Before you use wireless, What guitar cable are you using? Thanks
Nice video! Very good rundown of + and - points!
Check your XR18's router kung may setting siya to switch to the 5GHz spectrum. That way, it won't interfere with your (probably) 2.4GHz signal on your XVive U2. 5GHz (and devices that support them, for that matter) also give you faster access to your wireless network due to the bigger bandwidth. Also, keep it away from microwave ovens and such. :P
Rock and roll!
You can use fun tak to secure it in place and it rubs right off with no trace when you're done.
Will it fit to the guitar with active pickups without the h1 transmitter holder???
Sir..perf..how to use it with pedal boards?
It's not a bright idea but I use Velcro on mine. Hasn't failed me yet. Thanks!
Thanks Perf... I've definitely been looking for a system with no dropouts... for going live ... dropouts are no big deal when practicing (of course)... I bought the line 6 g10 and it didn't work without drops.... I'll click through the link when I buy one next month... luv ya bud
Put some adhesive to keep it in place.
i have that...it is awesome to use.
I love your reviews and lessons Sir Perf 😃, question. Would xvive fit on my ibanez sir27fd sevens?
Not familiar with your guitar
I have a pair and they work great. Very affordable solution for someone on a budget.
Hi, thank you for your video. I changed the batteries of my XVive U2 system. The problem I had was that, from time to time, on the receiver, the blue button would flash and vibrate the sound, a bit like a tremolo. I thought it would go away by changing the batteries, but the problem is still there. Do you have any idea where this would come from? If anyone has had this problem and resolved it, please let me know how to do it. Thanks again for this video.
Hello sir perf
Have you tried this one in a long range like 30 - 50meters? do you think shall I get any lost with the connection? I'm using acoustic electric guitar.
Great video, I already bought one, if I hadn't, I would have bought XVive through your link. Next time!
Love your vibe. Thanks!
No worries, dude! Glad you enjoyed the video!
You probably already thought of this months ago, but a tiny velcro patch on the U2 and another where it meets the guitar secures it.
Yep, lots of suggestions for that one but I’d rather not stick velcro on my guitars
Paano iconnect yan sir sa guitar effect?
Nice review of XVive U2 Guitar Wireless System. Pwede pala sa acoustic guitar. I am thinking about buying. Meron akong Samson wireless dati. Yun nga lang, nabali yung antenna ng receiver by accident.
Try nyo po velcro para maging stable
just stick strip of velcro on the Xvive U2 wireless and to your guitar po, Sir Perf
Finally I bought mine hahaha supposed to buy in december but i'm worried that it will run out of stock hahaha
you could use one of those tack-it clay to temporarily stick your xvive to your guitar
Sir puede ba isaksak sa mixer yan
Small Velcro circle where the chive folds to your guitar
I just got one of these and I one thing I've noticed is I'm getting a lot of hiss. I'm pretty sure I'm using it properly, but it's nowhere near as clear as with a cable. I do have a wifi router nearby, so that might be contributing to some interference. Is there anything else you could recommend that I might be missing?
Try changing the channels on the xvive
@@OfficialPerfectoDeCastro Update; I tried that and I'm still getting a lot of hiss and wireless router is no longer in the room.
How about using tapes to secure the unit? May not look good but it might do the trick. I myself use an SG so it's not that big of a deal if the unit moves. I use a Swiff wireless, not the Xvive, at the time it was the inexpensive option for me hehehe.
Perf just saw Pakoy of Typecast putting some velcro on his to stop it from moving.

Blutack idol for temp fix or small velcro 🤘😊
awesome
Good video. Do you know if they fit a tele and or jazz bass input?
Kasya naman
@@OfficialPerfectoDeCastro Sir Perf kumusta po siya kapag nag roroll off/down ng volume knob? Experience ko po kasi with other similar wireless is nagcacut siya kapag almost zero napo yung volume knob kaya medyo mahirap po magvolume sweep or yung parang "Paul Gilbert" cleans kapag naka roll down po yung volume. Salamat po. More power Maestro Perf. 😊
Don't fold the unit flush along the side of the guitar. Instead, pivot the unit so it folds up towards the front of the guitar towards the volume & tone knobs on your guitar.
Magkano presyo niyan transmitter na yan?
Thanks sir perf whoho
Sir perf. .
Sir Perf, I got my new Xvive U2 because of this vid. A few Q's: (1) What do you mean by dropout? and (2) How will you know when to charge the units? TIA.
1) when the sound cuts in and out intermittently
2) when the units die
@@OfficialPerfectoDeCastro I've read on other forums kasi na it would hurt the longevity of the batteries if charged after being completely died out. Thanks for the confirmation.
HiDeCastro could You use this to daisy chain two speakers?
If you mean powered speakers then yes You could
How much po?
I dont own one but maybe small Velcro stickers to keep still?
Yep that’ll do it except that I don’t want to stick velcro in my guitars 🙂
a vlogger used velco., try it idol
Is there an indication or warning light when the unit batt is about to die on stage, or does it kill it all of sudden ?
No indicator
@@OfficialPerfectoDeCastro So the spec says that the batt life is max 5 hours (on a good day). So if you are playing in a gig, there is a good chance you are killing a solo and suddenly -- lights out!!! OMG!
@@MAYANKBAJPAIMUSIC Says the red light flash's when bat starts to get low but you would to be paying attention.
Use velcro po. I also use xvive u2 and i placed an adhesive velcro on thr end of my unit and my jackson rhoads hindi na sya gumagalaw(:
Dr. Exotic haha I don’t want velcro on my guitars
Sir Perf! Question lang. I bought an Xvibe U2 for my guitar kasi nainspire ako sa video na to. I wanted to use another wireless IEM. Mostly nakikita ko sa market has the same 2.4 GHz. Magkakaloss ba ng signal because of same frequency? Thank you in advance!
Sir how about the latency of that unit meron ba,? before meron ako joyo wireless may konteng delay sya pag play ko sa guitar.
Yung gitara!!!!!! I want!!
Pwede ba sya or kasya ba sya sa Ibanez S Series Guitars? Salamat idol. More power.
Di ko sure e
Owned two of these...... Pros: Sounds good, low latency. Cons: Plastic shell not very durable, battery life diminishes over time ( 2yrs later have less than one hour playtime), does not play well with active pickups/eq (noise).
Use velcro to stick it on guitar.
Salamat!

Hello sir perf, dalawa kami ng bahista ko gamit itong xvive u2,nun una wala kning problema sa signal, nun nagtagal eh nagaagawan na kmi,un base lumalabas sa amp ko n vice versa, any advise po sir..tnx in advance..😊
Dapat magkaiba kayo ng channel
Yes sir,we did that,umokey na…salamatz pow..☺️
Hi Sir Perf. Velcro is the best way para hindi gumalaw ang mga wireless systems. But on the side of the guitar you can place the velcro with a double sided tape but with easier detachment na hindi nakakasira sa finish ng gitara.
That's a better solution Sir. :)
you can tape it sir perf..use the transparent ones.. im sure it will hold for the whole set, and you can take it off after :D
Killian Lutz Thought about that, I change guitars, though.
@@OfficialPerfectoDeCastro owh right..i forgot sir perf..mayb you can also use a double sided tape and you can stick the velcro on top?for that, it can easy be removed after gig.. :)
6:38 - velcro is your friend
Sully pala, I thought it's a Chapman. Ang sexy lang, and reminds me of Paul Gilbert's pink "Z-shaped" Ibanez.
Is anybody use this xvive on BASS GUITAR? How was it? Any difference of the sound compared to cables?
I use it on my active bass quite often, it does the job
@@OfficialPerfectoDeCastro thank you so much Sir Idol Perf..God Bless.. Good Health Always...
Use velcro in the u2 & guitar
Autoadhesive. You can remove it as a sticker
Or para lang po guitar ito?
Pwede
can you change channels?
Yes, it has 4 channels
Gaano po katagal sya chinacharge sir?
Usually 1 hr
My transmitter only lasts for about 25 minutes
Put a little vilcro sir perf
Collab with Jared Dines
Plan to inquire sa iyo kung ok siya for acoustic guitar. Luckily namention mo na compatible siya for acoustic.
-allen
Yup, pwede! Musta na, Allen?
03:50 What about EU
Paco it should work as well
Throw some 3M dual lock on the guitar and on the unit mission accomplished.
Latency?
Not enough to feel it
But u can buy set of bose for another 150
If you want this receiver to stay in place just use tape :)
Put a side by side tape on the but of that wireless cable..problem solve ..
Found a reusable double stick tape, will try that.
I was thrilled with my XVive U2 for the first 10 months that I owned it, but 2 weeks ago it just stopped working. Batteries fully charged, channels synced on the transmitter and the receiver, and the receiver blue light comes on showing that it is receiving a signal from the transmitter, but no sound at the amp. I tried changing amps, and I tried changing guitars - nothing (all amp/guitar combinations worked perfectly with a cable). Very disappointing because the unit was well cared for, used it on a regular basis (approx. 2 hours every week for in home practice, and only had it out of the house for 2 gigs in the 10 months that I have owned it). Guess it was just too good to be true, now I feel like I wasted $150.00. Has anyone else had any issues?
Sorry to hear that. Mine’s still working after 17mos. Shit, now I jinxed it so it’ll probly die any day now
Me too, worked great, but now it gets distorted after one minute, pity i really enjoyed it
So many times n nkkita ko yn sa ibang musicians. What is the exact name of that gadget.. any one!!
Binasa mo ba yung title ng video?
Put some velcro on guitar
Velcro will keep your unit from spinning around on your guitar.
Some good bazooka bubble gum will keep it from spinning & it taste good too😜.Good video. Peace
Did you experience any tone lose using it?
Only when other digital wifi signals interfere with it. Without any interference, it's as good as a regular cable
@@OfficialPerfectoDeCastro hi perf, regarding in the interference of other digital wifi signal, is it gonna cut-off your signal? I have experience before with other brand of wireless in these scenario. Btw, i like your vid and looking forward to watch you in your gigs. ☺️👍
Bryan Pernis depends which signal is stronger. I’ve had routers cut off the U2’s signal and I’ve also had the U2 cut off the signal of of wireless headphones
i use magic tape for a solution it dont go anywhere
moving and turning? put a scotch tape
The receiver failed on mine. And due to the downside of ordering online becomes a failed experience,... no returns I Will look for an alternative with better quality.
Sorry to hear that
Would anyone wanna purchase my Xvive U2? It's now faulty, perhaps you can change the battery, or idk exactly what's wrong, but quite certain it can be fixed. Just that, in my area (Malaysia, Penang), no one is interested to fix it for me. So, please, anyone, offer me a small price, I'll send it to you. =)
My U2 is still going strong, 3 years in use ( czcams.com/video/kTThdyxtMPI/video.html ), 5-6h each week. No drop in charge level experienced so far. It's a good budget product!
If you use it with a Strat I 100% guarantee it will break if you accidentally hit it with your hand, probably the very first time.
Gotta take it easy with the windmill strums
Putting velcro tape on a $3,500 Gibson Les Paul Custom is NOT an option. 🤣
Truth
Its all fun and games until they start relentlessly crackling and popping. They're good......until they're not.
use tape to hold it on😂
Actually found a reusable double stick tape I’ve been using
All you players willing to put Velcro on you Guitar, stop. There has to be a better way. I’m thinking.....
Double sided tape

Bigay nyu na yan sirr hahahahahaha
Eborda Romel yoko nga
