So if you hit the 10 calorie mark in 15 seconds the first round, you have 2:45 to rest until the 3 minute mark and the start of round 2, then you get to 10 calories again as fast as you can...rinse/repeat for a total of 10 rounds. I don't have access to one of these bikes, but I do 30 to 60 second intervals of sprints (jogging between) on my treadmill.

I like to find a pace that is just below that point that I am feeling out of breath and hold it there. Works for me running, cycling and swimming. With experience you can meter your effort over long periods. Well exceeding the 20 minute minimum for aerobic benefit to accrue.

Yeah you can hit the cardio now that you've turned a Goliath Ryan. But for those of us that are just starting to develop muscles, my trainer says I shouldn't do cardio. However I'm very concerned about weight gain, especially since it took me a year to burn it off. So I'm still walking every day. And bike 45 m twice a week

My man you are By Far the funniest and most entertaining cat in the game. Blending science and humor is definitely a craft that you have and one that I vibe with. I would love to kick it with you and just have a few beers...or protein shakes, whatever. Looking forward to dropping that $20 or less to get your complete brain picked while laughing all the way to my more and new gains.

I find the elliptical to awesome for this as well. Put that sucker on full resistance and do intervals after a lifting session and it'll wreck you. You just have to get over the stigma that comes with the elliptical.

the elipticals at my gym are heavily digitized and have several special workouts pre-programmed, one of it is called "Sprint 8" Which is a 20 min long workout that alternates between 1:30min of low resistance relaxed cardio and 30 secs heavy resistance sprinting, that fucking burns like hell, this is now my "cooldown" exercise after my workout while dieting, and in bulking it will probably be my off-day workout

So Ryan, my son and I just finished this workout. We got home and threw some top sirloins on the grill. I bent over on one leg to grab my tongs, BIG mistake. DOWN GOES FRASIER! Flat on my back in the garage...Fuck...
    Not gonna lie though...
If you thought I was going to say it feels good, nope, feels like shit. Will be doing it next leg day as well!!!
