Lara was not supposed to sing this song at this event, it was Barbra herself but she couldn’t come at the last minute. Lara was there to perform a duet with Josh Groban and stepped up to replace Barbra as she knew the song by heart, as the absolute fan of Barbra she is.

Hello, it seems to me, but Éric will confirm that initially it was Barbra who was supposed to change the song, but that she had an impediment. in all, the ara takes up this standard magnificently. during concerts we will also find the superb duet with Josh groban, the title of the IA film "for Always" that I advise you, you will certainly like more 😅

Lara duets with Josh Groban at the same concert. She recorded the theme song for the movie AI called For Always and there was a duet version with Josh.

Barbra Streisand was supposed to be at this event and sing this song, but she made a last minute call canceling her participation at, then th Maestro John, whom already had met and worked with Lara 2 years before, because they both recorded together the song FOR ALWAYS, for the movie (A. I artificial Intelligence ) from Steven Spielberg and himself called her to invite her to sing the main song of his movie. Lara was supposed to participate at this event only singing the song FOR ALWAYS along with Josh Groban, when she was taken by surprise by the Maestro's request: he informed her that Barbra Streisand had canceled her participation and he knew that Lara was the perfect person to go up on stage and replace Barbra singing her own song, Lara had not rehearsed with the musicians or with the Maestro at all, right after this performance, she returned to the stage, this time with Josh Groban (who later revealed in an interview in front of Lara that he was very nervous about singing with her, specially a song a song that she had recorded on her own way and PLUS for a Spielberg movie, but that she held his hand and said "You're a great singer, we'll be alright together.") And those words gave him more courage the moment he was on stage with her. Lara said more details about that night and her duet with Josh Groban during an interview on a French TV program where Josh Groban also was invited and they sang together there as well). PS: Do you know that both (Josh Groban and Barbra) made a cover of Lara's song Broken Vow? Lara and Barbra also sang together during David Foster's marriage after party. There's a picture of them (Lara and Barbra) at the party and David said that both sang together and Lara also sang Caruso Acappela in front of Andrea Bocceli. ;)

Another prove that she's still a great singer as usual. Last month she performed one of her ballad songs which put her in #1 position at Top dancing charts around the World back in 2000/2001. I Will Lovr Again, she also recorded this song in Spanish, and sang it live as well, it's called Otro Amor Vendra. Thank you.❤

I only remember I never found any of Streisand's performances pleasing to my ears. Not the timbre of her voice, the kinds of songs she sang, or the certain lack of ...wholehearted sincerity? Where the artist is subsumed into the art.
Discovering & becoming a total stan of Fabian has, oddly, broadened my horizons such that while I still don't _like_ Streisand's work, I now very much appreciate her skill.

I would like you to react to a Spanish singer her name is Diana Navarro. She is a very versatile singer who sings different styles of music with a very particular voice and incredible melismas. She always transmits when she sings. The song would be "El perdón" greetings

Lucy is great but you do her a disservice comparing her to Lara who is one of the greatests vocalists ever, the queen of resonance, with better skills and a more unique tone.

Hi rollen & angie, could you react to JOURNEY "mother father" 1981 live in Houston, because steve perry (lead singer) in the early 80s was the american singer whose voice came closest to dimash and particulary in the ESCAPE TOUR, realy dimash vibes. Inducted rock'n rol Hall of fame 2017. Thank you.
