One of the best things about Three Dog Night, other than their music, was they never took themselves too seriously, and always knew how to have fun & still look cool as hell, doing it!!! 😎😎😎((Luv your reactions)) ❤
Three Dog Night is a great American rock band from the 60's-70's. This band had a lot of energy. They had 3 guys with great voices that could all sing lead vocals. They had great songs such as "One" (written by Harry Nilsson), "An Old Fashioned Love Song", "Eli's Coming", "Shambala", "Liar", "Try A Little Tenderness", "Never Been To Spain", "Easy To Be Hard", "The Show Must Go On" etc.
You can’t not love a song about drinking anything with a frog. ❤
70’s was always the best time for music
A joyful song about joy.
This song was written by, Hoyt Axton. A prolific singer, songwriter and sometime actor. From what I understand, Axton wrote the lyrics as a goof, until he could think of something better, but before that could happen, the song was recorded and became a hit.
So glad to see you are doing another reaction to these guys! Love them! Great rock artists but with a quirky sense of humor. Love your reactions!
My very first concert was Three Dog Night and Rod Stewart and the Faces. I was in total awe. I was 13.
I'm so jealous. That would have been an Awesome concert.
Damn!!! That's an amazing concert!
I loved this song when I was a little girl ❤️
Omg! They rock! Old fashioned love song & never been to Spain are my favorites! 😉🥰
One of my all-time fave groups❤❤❤
Saw them in concert waaaaay back in the 70s, their opening act was Aerosmith!
3 year career. 21 top 40 hits. 11 top 10’s and 3 #1’s.
One of my favorite bands as a kid in the '60's and 70's!!
This was out when I was in 5 th grade ..been singing it every since..just a great feeling every time
We really had fun, with all of the music in the 60's70's. You really enjoyed.the music.
Omg this brought back some meds 🤣🤣🤣 Great Reaction!
This song gave me my middle name(Joy) my parents are of the hippie generation 😆
Another funny one is their ""Old Fashioned Love Song".....make sure you watch the antics.....lol
3 Dog Night...yay !...Joy to the World..released January 1, 1970...
A commenter before me listed a number of their works...so..it's a close your eyes and pick one..lol...
Thanks Greg...hope you're well...🙏...🌿🌿🌿
Great reaction! Thanks for keeping great music alive!
Boy your really reacting to some real good Oldies lately! Thankyou
Saw them years ago. Best concert ive gone too
This band made me a little hippie and a little hood 😂
I thought I'd suggest another band, but this time a harmony band with lots of soul & funk. So grab your dancing shoes and get ready to boogie down " KC & The Sunshine Band - That's The Way I Like It (Live 1975)" this is Disco music 🎶🤗🎺at it's best👞👠
Play their song PIECES OF APRIL
The Looking Glass did a song called "Brandy". It doesn't seem like much at first but it draws you in with the talent of their voices and the story of the woman waiting for her love to come back.
I love this band from back in my younger days. I am so glad I got one of their albums back in the late '60's. They can be a lot of fun.
I love Three dog Night such an upbeat and fun band. And since so many great people gave so many wonderful suggestions, I think I'll just suggest another band, if interested "James Taylor - Something In The Way She Moves (Disco 2 12/5/1970)" Great reaction I love your enthusiasm 🔥💖🎸🤗🎶
I was fortunate to see them live, amazing
I love that you did this song I’ve been trying to get a whole lot of people to do this song it’s a great chair dancing song
Try Eli's Coming, One, Shambala, Celebrate, Try A Little Tenderness, Out In The Country!!!
ELI'S COMING... different side of 3 Dog Night....you won't be disappointed!
This song is iconic, and it’s probably been in countless movies and tv shows. Since I’ve had any memory at all, I remember this song. Great reaction.
Greg, I love ur reactions. You pick up on everything. I remember this song well.
You might have heard it in a sample or something. This was a pretty famous song.
3 Dog Night had a great diversity in songs
gotta do three dog night... and Dr Hook..no words..just great music for me the soul 🙂😘😘😘
Great song and reaction I think i watch you more than the video you make me laugh❣
Hey Greg, another great reaction to a great band. They have an awesome sense of humor. They have a more serious side too. I'd love for you to check out a couple of their songs "One", "Black and White". Thank you. Much love
We tease one of my brother in law's because this is the only songs he knows all the words to. I heard him singing it when he was drunk one night 😂
My all time favorite group. Dug a little deeper they have some very very soulful and awesome hits. Nobody sang acapella like TDN.
Great song! I have always called this song 'Jeremiah was a bullfrog' because it's not the Christmas song. The meaning of the song is great tho.😊
I really enjoy your reactions!
I have friends from this era and we have a bunch of txt threads where someone just throws out an opening lyric and we do the whole song one line at a time😂. This was our last one so I just started laffing when it came on. Try listening to “ One ( is the loneliest number)” Played the vinyl off when my boyfriend left for the army.
👍❤️🎼❤️😎
Is there any popular mainstream song this positive today? That just wishes joy to everyone? It makes me happy.
❤
Listen to "Lady" by Little River Band and "December 1963" by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons
For inspiration, listen to "Black and White" by 3 Dog Night. Very simple and beautiful anti-racism song.
I don’t know if you ever seen the Movie sausage party this song plays in the credits
I like the way you pick up the musical nuances and the details of the composition.
Thanks for the great reaction.
I always thought these guys were really edgy for choosing that song title and then backing it up with a banger.
This was played in the clubs a lot.
I love his mustache
Written by actor/songwriter Hoyt Acton.
Now imagine riots and Vietnam on the news every night and you’ll understand why there were so many happy song hits in this era (California Dreamin’ to Country Roads).
"it sounds so familiar"
I'm sure you've heard it around.
We had the good stuff 😉
they had a lot of types of songs
This was the decade when music was fun!!! Remember fun? Now days everyone gets offended over every little thing!!!
I’m enjoying your CZcams Channel. I grew up with Three Dog Night. Check out their song Black & White.
I think you’ll like it.
Just an Old fashioned Love song is good too
🐸💖😎
I love them. Try Shambala I’ve never been to Spain. Mama told me not to come.
Did you see those tabby collars some of the audience was wearing.
Such an iconic song by this band, & everybody loves it. You're right - they certainly always had a good time with their music. Songs by them you might react to: "Never Been To Spain", "Shambala", & "Black & White". Thanks for reacting to this really fun song.
All three singers were good.
This was great!
Tony Joe White 'even trolls love rock n roll' is a great one live, and very funny, to react to
You should listen to Three dog night, never been to Spain or old fashioned live song
Ever listen to Dr. Hook? Funny stuff.
Try the song "Celebrate" by 3 Dog Night. Love these!
Eli's coming, all 3 sing lead.
Great song.
YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO SHAMBALA AND NEVER BEEN TO SPAIN!
Mariah Carrey covered this song but she took it into the church.
You should do easy to be hard and black or white
so much good 60' 70' music
Can we take our country, world back to this? Sick of crap seem to be getting in now. Don't wanna sound like a hippie but peace love and tendentious is what world needs. Wasn't around in 60s and just a kid in 70s.
My all time favorite group. Dug a little deeper they have some very very soulful and awesome hits. Nobody sang acapella like TDN.
