The dude just turned a guy into a explosive barrel and then threw the newly made barrel at another guy causing it to blow up, killing both… I love this game
The combat is waaay better than The Witcher 3.
Literally you can have fun in this on hard mode combining magic to make it fun.
Smashing enemies and them exploding is much better than slicing them in TW3.
Story may be awful and has some issues but if you're looking for fun combat...

@@evryksbgnswthq Where all cursed enemies get damaged when you hit just one of them. And you can get talents that give curses to enemies just from using Expelliarmas and spells like that
@@evryksbgnswthq It's the Blood Curse passive in the Dark Arts Talent tree, it's one of the first dark arts talents you can unlock early on because of how low it's level requirement is.
If I do it I usually start with crucio and basic cast that enemy so everybody gets cursed then hit them with avada

The introduction of “Ancient Magic” makes me imagine that at least a number of old gods(Greek gods,Norse gods, Celtic gods) are in fact ancient wizards and witches who had mastery over ancient magic,and the myths are distant memories or distorted accounts of their deeds.
I'm not going to say it, but I had a fan fiction as a kid where Harry Potter and Person Jackson were the same universe.

So being a wizard is just like being in GTA, got it.
My fave so far is summoning the lightening strike.
I really wish the decisions we made would impact our character's future and that there were several different endings. And that instead of fifth year we were the final year and got to choose a profession/role based on how well we did in classes at the end of the game. This way the whole O.W.L.S thing is pointless, because we are preparing for it but never complete it in the end, and it doesn't change the storyline at all.

They really need to add a consequence for using unforgivable spells and killing in public. Your wanted meter should go up and you should have aurora after you. Would make the game more fun and keep you entertained
And when you get busted, you go to Azkaban and have to break out using a Patronus and make that breakout one of the hardest things ever so it makes it seem like the Unforgivable curses have to be used carefully.
Yes. More penalties: limits to the use of certain items (such as Sword of Gryffindor etc.); limits to interaction with certain characters, etc; limits to certain adventures. You should be placed alongside the enemies you are killing.

He's good. But I've seen some exploit the weaknesses each character has by interrupting their unblockables with specific spells that have a multiplied damage effect.
@L_O_W_K_E_Y-G that’s not what they mean. They’re referring to interrupting spells “i.e. use depulso to interrupt an ashwinders confringo”. Using certain spells just before they attack has added damage. Nothing to do with breaking the shields

There have been times where I just jump in and kill the Foe with ancient magic, and then nope out on my broom. I've even gone in and not even realized there was a Foe because I killed everyone so fast

Well I looked it up and it's the relic house uniform, you earn it with the daedalian key quest. “A House robe, earned by using the Daedalian keys to unlock your house chest.”
It’s a raven house cloak you get from the house chest I use it it’s pretty cool glows when you use magic I looked up a yt vid locations of the house keys took me like 20 mins
That’s the Ravenclaw’s Daedelian cloak, the most elegant and royal of all four in my opinion

What mechanic is being used at 0:43? It looks like the edurus potion is automatically reflecting the attacks? Or is it congringo mastery?
Maybe the talent that make you invulnerable with edurus, but not sure.
@@starlucanyaart yes, there is a talent in room of requirement section which allows Edurus potion to give additional effect of deflecting incoming projectiles. You need to activate the talent or it’ll just be ordinary Edurus effect (stoneskin)
Voldemort was an "artificial" psychopath, born from effects of love potion. Legacy MC is just all natural 100% authentic psychopath whose existence was entirely wiped away in history book.
Voldemort = he who must not be named
Legacy MC = he who must not be remembered

Stupify can only do so much when all you want is damage.
As for me, I prefer dodging swiftly more than using protego. It depends on your battle style
Also protego plus retaliation cannot work all the time since there are some enemies’ spells which are capable of shattering your shielding spell. Thus forcing you to dodge.

Probably maximized on Dark Arts talents, some Core talents and some room of requirement talents. I think he took a few of stealthy talents too since the enemy alertness parameter increased slowly.

At 3:16 how did you upgrade your cast to hit others ?
I think he use the crucio mastery talent (Striking an enemy cursed by Crucio releases a projectile that curses a nearby enemy) and maybe the blood curse talent (Dealing damage to a cursed target inflicts damage to all cursed targets). They both could be found in the talent category of the game, in the "dark magic" part.
Upgraded crucio which allows you to mark curses on other enemies as you hit the main target with basic attacks. Once all enemies been marked with the curses, you can cast Avada Kedavra to instantly kill them all. You need to take the ultimate Dark Arts talents in order to succeed.
rest easy my large friend ):
When I use crucio it take 2 or 3 basic casts and they are dead I'm doing about 300-500 damage 💔

Edurus potion’s effect. You can use potions during combat in this game which broaden the magic experience.
6:37 if you noticed it, the character took Thunderbrew potion which conjures cumulus cloud and thunder, electrifying and shocking the surrounding foes. The other potions are wiggenweld, maxima, invisible and focus potion which not shown in this vid.
