I love the answer he gave for "what was in the suitcase" (14:14 - 14:58). Feels like a nuanced way of breaking the fourth wall. It sort of explains why the audience tends to take a lot of ownership of the narrative in his films, in terms of each person having a very personal experience with the different narratives. I agree that things have gotten way too far into a PC culture and people are far too sensitive. That said, I don't think that joke would offend people, even today. People would have to do some major mental gymnastics to find something in that joke that offends them. I'm sure they'd try though, people look for things to offend them, they love to be offended. lol

And watching this I want to believe that he genuinely wanted to be on Tom's show, he was relaxed and open to conversation. For me what's hilarious is the fact that I never liked the movie From Dusk to Dawn, and that is a kind assessment...( laughing ).
