Macaco Lider I'd say if you are going to have such an historical point of view, Norwegians wouldn't do so badly either. You see, much of our history is linked up to discovery and putting lives to risk just to explore somewhere new (discovering America for example). But of course, Portugal is more centrally located and you are probably more "involved" in the Europe and know more people abroad. But I don't know much about Portuguese travel habits! :)

Saidsopmac What's desenrascar? And of course Norway would survive longer due to our remote location. Also one of the most clean and fresh places in the world. We'd just cut ourselves from the rest of the continent👍🏻We are also almost self-sufficient!

Don't be mad about the army thing Portuguese it's just their opinion Norway is next to Russia so our military focus is quite high like the Danes swedes and fins we have been preparing for war since the last one I'm not saying we would win over Portugal mind you but our military is quite obvious and as this is their opinion they have probably seen army helicopters and tanks or something

Love this! Maria resembles my late grandma when she was young & she was also named Maria! On my maternal side being tall, fair & blue-eyed was very common, the Azores apparently had immigration from other European countries during the early settlement days. Also Portuguese are a mixture of Celts, Germanic groups as well as the Moors & other groups from around the Mediterranean Sea!

Norwegians are so reserved... They don't usually wanna make friends with foreigners... So you might get bored as hell here and mostly be alone if you are A foreigner.... I think Portugal is far more lively, friendly, and sociable place to live...

Norway wouldn't win a war against Portugal. We have almost the double of your population, we have a way bigger reserve (6 times yours), we have more active military personel, etc... The rest is kind of equivalent (except you are way bigger than us, but you probably can't live in most of it)
The only things where Norway wins are more airports, more helicopters and a bigger military budget.

filipesgoncalves pretty true Portugal used to be one of the strongest in the world but after the world war they became weak we are very peaceful so we won't make a conflict but if our neighbouring countries (who support us)will go to war we will support them

Portuguese do not "talk with their body or hands", etc.. that stereotype doesn't apply to the Portuguese as it applies to Italians or even to Spanish, at least to some Spanish. I think that's a Mediterranic feature and I sincerely think that, although the Mediterranean influence does exist at many levels in the Portuguese but not in terms of personality. I would say that the Portuguese would be more "Atlantics" in those "emocional departments". They would correlate much more with Bretons or Irish people. They usually exibit a low profile and hardly talk Loud outside... but I agree that, anyway, when compared with nordics in general they are more emocional but not that emotiobnal stereotype that I've described.

@Prince Henry The navigator Yes that's it, we're easy talkers, especially when fueled by a couple of drinks. We take our time to connect with people in a more serious or deep manner but do not refuse talk to strangers, especially if we are approached for help.
There is actually a lot of fighting in Norway. Every weekend there is news of many fights because of alcohol. Kind of wierd to hear norwegians say that they havent seen it. But im born and raised in the north tho, and i think that its more commend for us then for people in the south. We start arguing, end up fighting many times, then we kind of go our own way after it, and in one way just stay away from each other after that. But i must say that i bet 50-50% of the fights is because of the alcohol, and that people from the north can get really mad if you are disrespecting or pushing our personal space to the limit. You got a lot of guys in the north that go out to drink with an intension of fighting. But most of the time something have been done or said to disrespect or so on. There is more kid gangs in the south tho, been a big thing for the last couple of years that a lot of kids are in a gang and have these idiotic "gang fights", they are also never 1v1, its more like 3/5 vs 1 in these kid gangs. We used to have it a lot when i was young, but it was ALWAYS 1vs1. Or atleast even numbers most of the time. Unless you have done something really bad against kids, women and older people. Then it can get pretty ugly for that person who did it. We respect the elders, kids is the same as everywhere i guess, and women goes on that you are being a douchebag against women, and it tells people that you are a bitch if you do something against women as a guy. And trust me, here up in the North, if you do one of these 3, everyone will end up knowing what you have done fast, people talk to each other about these things. So you shouldnt feel so safe if you are being a jackass here, "The North dont forget". There is just things that we have been raised up with, so we learn early about these things/rules.

I dont really know about marying only a portuguese woman... more and more portuguese men are marrying brazillian women here, even i for example went to erasmus in Poland and had polish girlfriends, all portuguese men were interested in knowing new languages hahaha.But you know theres always two type of portuguese people the ones who like their comfort zone and have a peacefull life in their country and the crazy ones like me who think the grass is always greener in the other side. Nowrgenian or whatever do not have top historical museums, Portugal has.Portugal is the only country in Europe that did not burn their templars(basically that still has templars).Portugal is miles ahead from Norway in that aspect. About happiness and all that shit....it is subjective...it depends on the personality of each person.
You are wrong with a lot of stuff. Portugal is a lot more rural about 40 percent lives in rural areas while only about 18 percent in Norway. Plus portuguese people Would definetly be better of in a zombie apochalypse, like I said we are more rural, still very desenrascados and a lot of us are still tough. But still a good vídeo!
