Hello How are you? I imagine you must be busy. Looking forward to your next video. Whenever that drops! I was wondering if you would consider making a video (or a blog post?) about the whole process for building a house in Norway. From buying the land, permits and the actual construction. It would be much appreciated, since not a lot of information on this process is available online (in English) Obrigada :)
Thanks!!
Song intro nostalgia❤
Tudo o que eu precisava era de uma pessoa que falasse português para me ajudar com a língua norueguesa, um abraço do Brasil
But why is Duolingo teaching me to say microwaves are watching you??
Thanks for create and share 🙂
🇫🇷😎BONJOUR
The language is no problem as 99% of norwegians can speak english we learn that from the school from age 5 year old so it is not any problem,
This is very informative. I am planning to come and live in Norway soon and thank you so much for this video.
Drinking tap water cannot be appreciated enough, it is really, really fresh! Even though you will find bottled water also in Norway, but if you are a tourist and buy one bottle of tap water, keep it and refill it at the hotel. Water bottles for multiple uses, especially for biking, is a thing and they can be bought everywhere. A wool cover for the bike seat? Wow, even I who am Norwegian didn‘t know, thanks for the tip, almost a lifehack! Eating too late in general isn’t too healthy, that is correct - if you manage to eat so early that you get a period of near 16 hours between two meals, some doctors believe it might reduce the risk of diabetes 2. Although "matpakke" is a very Norwegian thing (bread with cheese, meat etc that you prepare at home and put in a box to eat for lunch) - not everyone eats breakfast, so that the space between the last meal previous evening and first meal the next day is about 16 hours. Perhaps not a Norwegian thing, however many Norwegians happen to practice this, somewhat. And about vitamins - most foreigners from the south, especially if you have a tan or is dark skinned, should really really take supplements of vitamin D. Even Norwegians do this in the winter, because sunlight hitting your skin, makes the body produce vitamin D, and in winter - no sunlight. The dose needed, would be about 10 minutes of sun on a bare torso, which could be achieved, even if it isn’t too warm outside, around noon. If you don’t happen to like to do it this way, better take your vitamin D supplements… 😄 If you feel not too strong and healthy, your doctor will actually measure the levels of vitamin D and sometimes vitamin B12, if you are older or have a digestion problem. If you are a smoker, actually vitamin C and beta karotene can be dangerous for you, as lung cancer thrives on these vitamins, better quit smoking as most Norwegians already have done. Public transportation is not always working too well anymore in Norway - however with a bike, you are generally mostly fine in central parts of Oslo. Norwegians are able to bike or walk to their nearest grocery store. Americans who haven’t visited Norway yet, may not believe this, though. 😄 Still, I must remark that public transportation still works much better than places on the earth like - well we are looking at you again, americans. 😄 If you come to Norway, I promise you can get very healthy if you walk or use a bike for many errands, especially in the cities. Thanks for the video, you made me feel lucky to be Norwegian, although we have had some challenges with our buses lately, as you might know. 😅
Hi mon amie, in UK they called Gipsy bread and in France they called “pain perdu”. I am french, living in UK from Portuguese parents, may be same for you as I recognise a french accent, anyway lovely recipe thank you for your video. Au revoir, à une prochaine peut être 👋
Wonderful video, thanks!
Come on time is ticking that is a wrap...
The "Berry picking device" was invented by the Swede Johan Oscar Wennborg in 1905. The list is more of a "Scandinavian" list with inventions from all over the nordic region.
It happens thousands of good things, every days here in Norway. But the bad things are more often in the News. Here in Hardanger I have not notice any rasism. We have people here , from many countries.

Companies who have alot of jobs stacked up will give u a overprised offer since they dont really have time. but if u agree the price they are ofc gonna do it and they make bank :)
eeep! shoes on the actual bed is my worst nightmare 😅😅😅
Raft slab with 3 layer rebar matt. Differential Settling must be a real issue at your location.
Nice video ! At 1’23 you can see some draw made by the stone on the floor. It was the place of walls, stairs that used to be there before (there was a building there before ☺️)
Nice video! I'm Norwegian and can relate to most of it. :D But I just want to say; it's less and less common that work places pay for "julebord", it is mostly the "upper class" work places (oil companies etc) that do this. The rest of us have to pay for our own julebord, but that said, I have never worked a single place that DIDN'T have julebord. :)
That's more mistake for Oslo than actual Norway
Tons of work and great progress. Must feel good to see your dream home come alive. Congrats!
You are doing such a good job 🎉 Look forward to watching your next vlog 😊
Estava com saudades de vocês! Muito tão competentes e trabalhadores, merecem tudo de bom! Admiro muitíssimo esse casal de portuguesinhos! Parabéns!❤
Keep at it guys, lots of work. I don't understand why on new construction in Europe closets are still not part of the design and thus the rooms are crowded with massive wardrobes. Probably IKEA has a law against it so people continue buying their products. ;-)
Lovely vibrant colours and garage...I liked this video Mon & Daniel yes!!!!👍😅

The conversions are wrong for nok to euro. That’s 1223 euros not 1350. And 1335 usd for extra credit. I also want to point out that the cost for your monthly public transportation pass is far cheaper than most major cities in the USA. Charlotte nc is 140 usd per month, and twin cities in mn is 83. Numbers would be slightly different 3 years ago. But im surprised to see how many people in Norway think it’s expensive when every video shows it’s so much cheaper than USA cities. Maybe you’re comparing to other European cities?
My personal favorite is Langøyene always bring some food, a water bottle and now the water is drinkable! There is a nice kiosk there love the place absolutely beautiful. You know not a lot of beaches in Norway have sand under the water, which I prefer. :/
Hard as this is it caused a global mental health epidemic till now today.
It's true. I used to drink orange juice in the morning, but ever since I moved to Oslo, I drink iced water and it makes me feel privileged. I completely stopped drinking Coca-Cola. It's bizarre, but it's true. It's not the same throughout Norway. You may still want to drink Champagne in Paris, but the tap water in Oslo is exceptional.
since i saw in it :king of hearts it has captured me totaly
In American English this would be a fried dumpling. 👍🏻
This portugese sweet made it's way to japan too!

This makes me miss living farther north, ironically. I miss having snow for Christmas and when the sun would set ridiculously early in the evening and I could wake up and watch the sunrise through my frost covered windows. I miss it actually being cold for winter. I don't get seasonal depression (it sounds awful and I feel so bad for everyone who does), but I really do not enjoy summer. I feel like I'm being cooked and I don't understand how to make summer not an awful sweaty exhausting dehydrating time. I'll take dark and cold any day, because I understand how to cope with that a lot better, and it's tied with a lot of nostalgia. I can see how someone more used to sun and warmth than me who it's tied to their nostalgia could really miss it though. Most of my pleasant summer memories are from nighttime or water sources, both times when the heat is cut. Sitting on the porch with watermelon and watching fireflies, or making a fire at night and making smores, or going to a beach. But I also miss standing with my siblings in the snow and our pajamas and looking at the stars, or looking at the individual snowflakes in piles of snow, or sledding, or making snow structures, or just exploring, or staring out a window into the darkness and watching heavy snowfall seem to appear as soon as it hits the light, or seeing my breath puff into clouds. Or watching diamond dust blow in glittering tiny whirlwinds over the snow and sparkle in the sunlight, or glittering icicles. And the frost too. I just miss winter, not 'disappointing autumn part two but less pretty and everything is dead' where I get excited over snowflakes that don't just melt as soon as they hit the ground, if we have a single snowfall at all.
I would like to be friends with a Norwegian, can you help me?
As a portuguese working in Norway...the worst for me is the bureaucracy!
