U definitely was going too wide in some of those tight corners. Real risky.
Alright, I didn't notice that. Please specify the corners. Please teach me and my viewers so we can all become better riders.
@@Schaaf idk if you're being sarcastic or not but this wasn't meant to be a negative comment,it really did look like u were going a bit wide in some of these corners so i thought I'd point it out.
@@adrenalean5308 I'm still waiting for you to get specific.
@@Schaaf ok Here's 1 example.that turn at 2:30...it looked like u were a little too much in the middle of the road.
@@adrenalean5308 Multistrada is a tall bike so clearly he has an open vision of the rest of the road. I dont see the risk there.
Thank you for your work, this is the RAW video of my dream bike and you're my favourite motovlogger so far... Ride safe my friend.
Glad you enjoy it!
As always I’m impressed with your riding on some very tricky roads but have to say I’m even more impressed with the bicyclists riding up those hills, pretty amazing! Fantastic video!
thanks a lot Pete!!
This is perfection. Great riding on a great bike on amazing roads. Lovely walkaround and comparison at the end. I don't need much else from a motorcycle video
Thanks a lot Ruud
Great video, really enjoyed that ! I've got a deposit down on the new Multistrada V2s for collection at the start of March so it was good to see the bike ridden properly. The standard exhaust sounded nice as well
Awesome choice, congrats!
Nice view and recording as always, thank's Schaaf ! From France
De rien
Other than the sound , the view of these videos is my favorite part. That is what we see when we ride , not the
un-beautiful beak that most ADV’s have.
I could see myself enjoying this bike for a very long time.
You probably would ;)
Thanks for that Ducati roaring dosis and the wonderful views!!
Any time!
There's a negative side to watching Schaaf's videos. I have to discipline myself not to go to the dealer the next day and buy those nice machineries Schaaf is beautifully displaying how capable and fun they are in his videos.
Bad Schaaf!
Also: that was a close one, Schaaf... Nice!
I recommend flying to Gran Canaria and rent instead of buying ;)
Those roads look immaculate! Good to know you can hire the V2 there. I'm very tempted. I enjoyed hearing the bike on song. My 950S is tucked up for winter and hasn't turned a wheel in 3 months. Can't wait for spring.
DOOO IIT! Go for the winter escape!
That was great those switchbacks made me feel dizzy just watching. The bike sounds amazing and the scenery is amazing. Excellent riding roll on the spring 👌.
Thanks Neil
I drive my bike only in saison between march an oktober and this stuff helps a lot to survive the time without riding. Thanks Mr Schaaf. Nice ride btw, like always. Die linke zum gruß mein lieber
Freut mich :)
Those downhill hairpins at 3:48 got me feeling clammy, and you're accelerating right into them!! Amazing riding as usual but jeez this is technical stuff!!
Thanks Drew
Thanks for coming, Schaaf! Pleasure to having you here. Take care and see you on the next ride!
@@Ohstah Graciaas ✌🏻😁
Thanks for offering such a great service! I'll be back!! :)
Bike is insane, so powerful and agile. My favorite forever.
Nice
I have watched many of your videos but that bit of tarmac you were navigating had to be the most technical I've seen you ride. Outstanding riding Sir. I would love to take a test ride on the V2 MS. Seems to be a great do it all machine.
Take care and Cheers from the US!
Thanks a lot man!! If you dig through my archives and search for the RAWtalia series you'll find a few roads that are even more technical :)
Great video. Canary islands are absolutely stunning. It's my dream to move there permanently one day.
Thanks
When you slow down for the zeal of other people's lives at 4:36, you've earned my full respect as a rider, amazing ride!🇧🇷
thanks
"Mittendrin, statt nur dabei!" Als ob du selbst fährst, dieses Gefühl zu erzeugen ist die Kunst von Schaaf.
Danke, Bernhard!
Ich kann den Spaß förmlich spüren :-) super Sache!
Freut mich!
Awesome mate!
Děkuji! :)
It's too early to watch this awesomeness, nice ride Sir 🤘
Thanks!
Thanks for the video. Also I’m trying to make videos like you. So your description info is always fully updated with the camera settings.
I gonna try that nd filter with your settings. Keep up the good work
Good luck!!
Super Onboard!👍😎
hehehe tja ;) Danke, Stromer!
hello @schaaf Can you tell me. Is it possible with V2S doing power wheelies? Not sure if you turned off traction control.
Lucky dog. That one is on my short list. Sounds exquisite.
Thanks!
Vielen Dank, Thorsten!! Ja, brauchst du :D
Nice!
thanks!
Nice video and great riding making swift progress. The bike sounds great for stock! I've just got a Multi 1260S with full termi so would like to capture some footage like this when the weather picks up here in the UK.
Hopefully you can soon! Thanks!
A Pikes Peak version of the V2 with a 17 inch front and a single-sided swingarm would be a dream bike.
absolutely
My next trip 💙
Good choice!
No words just 🥰 😎
Thanks
As always, thank you for the great video
Do you feel the V2 has any different from the 950?
I wanna ride bikes like schaaf 🙂
take your time
Which one would you choose between a 950S Euro 4 and the V2S, and why?
How is the camera mounted? what camera is it?? would like to make videos like that my self :-)
I can't see your videos till the end...sorry! Everytime at about 2/3 of them i just run out at my bike for a quick ride! Thanks Schaaf 😁😁🍻
hahaha that's more than OK
just purchased this model, looking forward to taking on twisties. More usable power than the V4s. V4s just wanted to kill me, power was crazy but I know myself imma lose my license with that bike.
Awesome vid as usual, and those views are just amazing! How does this bike compare with the F900XR?
better in every single aspect except low rpm smoothness
What? No Yammering Brits with long winded reviews? Just raw sound? LOVED IT!
Thanks
you are awesome
thanks!
Always perfect quality pov rides. Can u ride a fjr1300 pls.

Since you have ridden both this and Triumph tiger 900, what is your takeaway? Unable to testride a multi rn, dealers will only have a demo again by april. Really liked the tiger, great balance, lovely engine. I take multi might be a bit more raw (less docile) than the tiger? What about wind protection?
the Multi only makes sense if you enjoy going faster. The Tiger is more comfort-orientated and a bit too soft for real hard riding. But when it comes to long distance travel the Tiger is the better option.
Have a down payment on mine! can't wait!
Awesome!!
I find this (and the 1260) to be so much prettier than the V4 Multis. You've said you prefer the 950 to the 1260 - can you give any insight on that? I'm currently looking at both to replace a Mk1 Tracer 900 and worry that the 950 performance is too close to what I have to justify the $ to change up.
Thanks Schaff! Absolutely love your videos!
👍 sehr schön
Danke!!
Random question since I just watched your video on the r1250rs…I’m currently looking at both of these bikes. Somewhat similar specs, pricing is higher on the BMW - after experiencing both on pretty nice roads…which do you prefer and why?
The Ducati because it has far better suspension and agility
Excellent video @schaaf as usual! I found this bike super fun to ride as it's not too powerful so you can hold the throttle wide open and smash through several gears before having to back off. What do you think of the overall grip with the narrow 19" front wheel and narrow-ish rear? It felt to me like not as much grip on tarmac? Cheers dude 👍🏼
For my kind of riding the 19 inch front provides more grip than I need :)
does the v2 use a different frame from the v4? if yes, the v2 should be more nimble because the frame would be made around a narrower engine..
I think yes but I'm not sure
Does the traction problem and vibration continue at lower speeds in the 950 series?
I don't know what a traction problem should be and the bike has rather normal V2 vibrations but nothing annoying
Swapped in my GSA for a red one, on order and can’t wait😆👍🏍
nice!
@@Schaaf Got it end of May, love it, such an underrated bike excepting yourself of course😆. Tucked up in the garage today, wet and cold in northern England😢
While you ride do you use the front brake or the rear brake more?
front only when going fast, rear only when doing everything else
greeting for argentina schaaf.
greetings from Austria
@schaaf How do you compere the 950 L2 engine with Yamaha MT09 CP3 ? Does Multistrada also doing power wheelies like mt09 ? Can you please answer ? Thanks!
The Yamaha engine is much smoother and feels a bit more powerful at the top
@@Schaaf thanks! What about low/middle rpm and power wheelies?
How does the bike feel at low speed cornering and manoeuvring?
Excellent
Stock exhaust??
you realy like the multisrada :)
I absolutely do
Was waiting for this. V2. Though I still didn't get you guidance. 😉. How do you isolate the sound of the bike and get rid of the wind blast noise!
thanks. Description
@@Schaaf awesome thanks. Unbelievable. The technique is 8 years old 🙏
I was going to ask the same question. Glad to find someone else already did. Cannot wait for mine in March! I’ve been drooling over the IG posts on this particular bike!🤘🏻🏁
Always a great time in your videos… I’m trying to decide between the new V2 S and an older 1260, can you tell me which you would choose and why?
The V2 because it's nicer to ride. More agile and smoother in the low revs
@@Schaaf Really?! (Appreciate your opinion…. ) And you don’t think the power difference is an issue?
I actually like this sound more than the V4 version...
me too :)
Why?
Maybe no one will find this comment but, just want to try - Compared to MT-09SP, for Fast Daily Commute around 80km/h - 140km/h (16-20km, Half Highway/Half A Road Tarmac) + occasional weekend trip (320-400km) 110km/h - 180km/h, what would you choose? I like new monster a lot so I’m interested in MSV2S too, but worry that extra weights of it kills fun performance part of Monster… how would you compare with MT-09sp? Or Mondter when it comes to running performance?
That's a matter of personal preference. Both can be ridden super fast but of course a lighter bike will always brake harder
Hi Schaaf,
Thank you for this beautiful video.
I want to ask some question for V2s.
Do you have any problem to this bike?
which thing is better and bad can you tell me?
I only tried it for a day so I can't tell you about any problems
@@Schaaf thank you, l bought one :) l will see
I have not seen all your videos, but what would you say is the best sounding bike you have ridden (acknowledging of course that the sound the rider hears is different from what the mic. hears/transmits)? My favorite video/sound is the S1000 XR!!
Scrambler 1100 is very high on my lis
@@Schaaf just watched it. I can see why!
donde estas en las islas canarias ?
hope the Desert X will sound like this
It's the same engine. It will.
Schaaf, if you are interested, make a video about the Tracer 9 . I would love to see your opinion about this bike .
czcams.com/video/A_lVU5NGIUY/video.html
Read in another video that you prefer the V2 over the V4S. Expand?
More usable power
Na immerhin :D
Great ride! I just love the V2/950! If it wasn't for maintenance costs... ;)
Understandable :)
What happened at 9:02? Is this simply a super slow quick shift?
Yea, the gearbox on that bike wasn't the best, even for Ducati standards
So what is absolutely the best motorcycle in this class by your opinion? At least name 3 (money is not an object scenario)
you've seen the best
Please make a review of the 2021 Ducati Monster standard
I can't choose the bikes I get to ride
@@Schaaf ok. Understood
Great video, hoping to get one soon.
Do they get hot around seat area as the earlier models ? 👍
nope
@@Schaaf i'd confirm that they do. And have same level of nasty high-frequency vibrations on the seat
Are you using KPH or MPH?
Why would I use mph in European territories?
@@Schaaf Oh yeah my bad man. I'm a fan of the old Top Gear UK and gotten used to hearing MPH in their shows.
Different question though, if Ducati is generally rough on lower rpms, which bike engine is very smooth for low-mid rpms?
Thanks. More power.
Hi Schaaf,
Bist noch auf Gran Canaria …?
Nope
This is 950S, right?
Yeap for sure. Answering by myself :D
IMO sounds better than the V4S and because you get to use more of the rev range on the street it looks more fun too.
indeed!
Imhop: why not using the multi's midrange grunt a bit more and going one gear higher, riding would much smoother and by no means less quick or agile. But thats usual Schaaf riding mode..
Except for 2-3 acceleration maneuvers I'm constantly using the mid-range
Kann es nicht genau erkennen.. Bremst Du mit 1 oder 2 Fingern?
1
A recomendation sir, here in spain in that type of roads is "ilegal" going more than 90 km/h, for in the next time not show the hud 🤣🤣🤣🤣 nice ride 🤜🤛
that's kind of a bad recommendation because the actual speed limit can be seen on those lovely signs standing everywhere.
@@Schaaf it's just a recomendation, la guardia civil are being too agrressive whit everyone, I am from la palma island (the last vulcano) and no mercy they have.
Can't decide between this, V4 and the XR
Tough one!
Does this bike have more than 3 gears?😜
Yes and if you understand anything about riding and especially Ducatis you'd understand that you don't use these on narrow mountain roads
👍👏👏👏👏✌️
thanks
Gran Canaria is beautiful!
For me, a twin is the best engine a motorcycle can have :) What about you guys?
Twin, inline 3, V4 - I can't decide
@@Schaaf Mmm, fair enough!
Schaaf try to ride a old classic Yamaha Virago 750 or 1100.
Unfortunately can't do old bikes
@@Schaaf Yeap i saw your video when you explain that. Very Thanks for your answer, i really like your videos.!
This or the Tiger 900?
czcams.com/video/UooObHe8ieY/video.html
A frequent gear of gears as in CB 500 or XJ 600, tiring for a longer ride, thank you for 2 cylinders
Ok
@2:16 as soon as you get a stretch of road good for overtaking, you have incoming traffic, while in the previous bends .... nothing. There should be a Murphy's law about this :)
Hahaha yea, well observed
113hp in a motorcycle that weighs at least 225kg doesn't sound that impressive on paper but this bella machina performs realy great in reality.
Right on
