‘Nari Shakti’ On Display As All-Women Contingent Marches In Republic Day Parade For The First Time

75th Republic Day Parade: India is marking a historic milestone with its 75th Republic Day celebrations today. The nation's capital is hosting a grand parade at Kartavya Path, showcasing India's military prowess and cultural diversity, with a special emphasis on Nari Shakti or women's empowerment.
The parade was heralded by over 100 women artistes playing Indian musical instruments such as Sankh, Naadswaram, and Nagada for the first time instead of the traditional military bands.
The Armed Forces Medical Services today showcased an all-women contingent for the first time in the Republic Day parade. The tableau represented the pinnacle of military pageantry, highlighting the strength, discipline and resolute dedication of women officers of the Armed Forces Medical Services.
The procession was followed by 144 officers from the Military Nursing Service.

Modi and Raj Nut might like to create a separate United Services Nari Shakthi Command dedicated exclusively to ceremonial parades, guards of honour, funerals, receiving dignitaries and Republic Day Parades. This could expand from Delhi to all state capitals, and then to all District Head Quarters, and then to all towns and finally to all villages.
