But why the reviews are bad... the movie is just AWESOME

What I think is funny is that people complain about Jake Gyllenhaal aka Dastan having an english accent when he's a middle eastern prince. Why is it funny? Because if he had a normal american accent people would be even angrier. The english accent is closer to a middle eastern accent than the american accent. I think even if he did have a middle eastern accent people would still complain... "why doesn't he have a british accent???" it's ridiculous.

this movie had so many anachronisms and american stereotypes about Persians, yet you all complain about his british accent?
Why not the fact that practically all persian soldiers looked like arabs?
Why not the fact that they completely made a fool out of the Assassins of Alamut?
I know it's just mindless entertainment, but at least if you want to complain about something, let it not be the petty things :p
I noticed, every adaptation of the prince is shown in this movie, 1,2,3,4,TwnThrns, etc. Yes even the Dark Prince
I wish that music when Dastan turns back time, also would be used when the prince of the game would turn back time

I think they should only have changed the original PoP:Sands of Time storyline a little and therefore kept the original ending because it was, at least, FAR better than the one in this film.(like having the Assassins was just a dumb idea)
... also, his right arm bears the weird markings in this movie and not the left one which makes no sense to even Have that since it has nothing to do with the game anyway...
