Taxi's are the most fun you can have on track! I try to convey this to people but until they try it they wont realise what the experience is like. I recommend anybody to jump in with David or Tim and let them demonstrate this amazing track to you! Great vid!

I had the joy of being in the passenger seat of a former professional racing driver in the Nissan GTR on the Nurburgring. Although not as fast as this car this video brings back memories of that. I remember the most impressive part compared to my own laps was how pro drivers navigate traffic, it was so close and so aggressive.

Not been on the Ring but it does remind me of my first time on a track, thinking yep I am going pretty fast after an hour. Then the instructor takes you for some hot laps and it quickly dawns on you that you are nothing lol. I said similar to that lady passenger - it feels out of control but at the same time perfectly under control. Different league of driving and the Nordschleife takes it an extra level with so many other cars on track with very differing levels of performance and driver skill. I hope to visit Apex Taxi next year.

Great vid!!! But I'm really puzzled with how you get away insurance wise with not having lids on. I wouldn't go anywhere near a even a mildly quick lap, let alone GT2 RS performance without having a lid on. I've done the ring many times over the years, cars and bikes and seen shit happen really out of the blue. I'd definitely not do it without a lid.
I've driven the 'Ring a thousand times in GT 5/6. Would love to experience it in real life, one day.
