Day 2 of asking to help me install a custom gsi rom on my infinix Note 10 without rooting because you're the only youtuber i understand when it comes to this.

To flash a gsi or any custom rom you don't have to root your device or something. Just the bootloader should be unlocked. That's it!

@@harishdeepak4527 Well bro, I've been using it for months and haven't faced any issues. Note that I don't use any banking apps, only GPay, and I don't use root (neither KSU nor Magisk). So yeah, with the default kernel at 120Hz, it's a good ROM with decent battery backup 😄. One thing to say: it's a really good 😊👍 ROM.

Only one issue i faced is After 90% Charger keeps getting disconnected and connected.
Now i deleted battery sys file now it is working i did not noticed any bug except this.

Sideloading is just a simple way to flash the custom rom on your device if you have access to your pc, you simply use the sideload command and the rom is going to be flashed on your device..
You can also flash the rom through a custom recovery but that will require you to transfer the custom rom file to your device and if things go wrong, you will have to start from the beginning again..
Laggy experience on this rom.
PE+ was king of this community but sadly, project has been suspended.
Los is also a good rom but without Pixel launcher, it doesn't look great. And I don't want root.

No.. because you already have a custom recovery on your phone, you can follow any one of the two methods.
1. Clean flash (will delete the internal storage)
Reboot your phone to recovery
Flash the new rom
Format data and reboot the phone
2. Dirty flash
Reboot your phone to recovery
Flash the rom
Clear cache / dalvik
Reboot the Phone
These are the basic steps you can follow but you also need to check the official website of the custom rom that you want to flash because there might be some additional steps you need to follow..

You can follow any one of the two methods, either clean flash which will format the data or the dirty flash which will not delete the data, it will just clear the cache.

Kuch doubts clear krdo mere:
1. Ye recovery kya hai? jaise mene twrp install kri toh koi aur rom apni recovery bolti hai daalne ko? Aur koi rom me adb ke through rom install krte hai but kernel aur magisk vegera kasie krenge?
2. Mene tumhari video dekh kr twrp recovery daali but rom nhi daali aur tumne video mein daali thi toh mene jab vol up and power press kiya toh twrp recovery nhi ayi? default mi ki aayi thi! Mene toh twrp.img ko as recovery bhi flash kiya tha phir reboot kiya but nhi aa rji twrp?
3. Ye firmware kya hai? koi youtubers toh directly hi daal dete hai rom but evolution x mein latest firmware mang rhe hai aur koi youtubers bolte hai ki pehle apna phone update kro! mene update krne ki koshish kri toh miui 13.0.10 latest hai aur koi aur update nhi aa rha but uski video mein miui 14 aa rakha tha? Won't knox freese phone as it detects bootloader is unlocked
I've never unlocked a bootloader on a samsung device but if the custom rom is available for f62, it means there's a way to unlock the bootloader as well.

I tried installing tha pixel os in redmi note 10 pro i downloaded the files exactly like the video and connected my phone into laptop and the fastboot was successful but after fastboot in the next code 'fastboot devices' my device code is not coming i tried in different cables but same error can you please help me
Did the adb command work? If yes then may be there is some issue with fastboot drivers.
For now, skip the fastboot command - fastboot devices
Use the next command directly i.e. fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
when I flash the recovery img .Instead of going to the recovery option the phone automatically boots to system itself. I also tried pressing the volume up and power key but that didn't work either. How to fix it
It should not happen and I think you might be missing any simple step while flashing the recovery.. also if you can tell the device you're using I can check it out

No.. Both are same
Because you will be using a PC to flash the recovery, sideloading will be much easier

Sideloading is a very easy step, please check if you are doing everything correctly! Also check if you have downloaded the correct rom file for your phone..

I've never rooted a phone with a custom rom but I think you need to flash magisk after every update to continue with root access.

Mediatek devices have a very less or no custom rom support and I don't have any phone with that processor, so it's going to be a bit difficult to make a video on these devices.

Yes fast charging is an issue with most custom roms and pixelos as well and because the updates keep coming, fast charging might work with some versions but it might not work with others..

@@techdocyoutube That would have perfect if it was working well! I tried to search and kinda find a solution for that. Could we try Fast Charge Module in Magisk if you have root and time to do please? :))
You can do it by rooting the device and flashing the magisk module but your banking apps won't work when your phone is rooted, then you need to flash a couple of extra modules to make banking apps work, it's a long process and just to enable a single feature like fast charging, it's not worth spending that much time..
Can you suggest a rom for redmi note 10 pro, which can be recommended for normal user, who wants great battery backup, camera quality, and overall balance performance.
Although I am enjoying pixel os from last year but I am not satisfied with the battery backup and heating issue.

Yeah the battery backup is almost always better with miui..
I tried only 2-3 custom roms recently, pixelos is good with an average battery backup (you can wait for the update if you're facing a heating issue)
I tried project elixir, battery backup is almost the same as pixelos but I did not face any heating issue
Then there was sparkos but it's still on android 13, it had a great battery backup.
You get miui camera with all three custom roms..

Depends on which device you're using, most mediatek devices have no custom rom support but some of them have..
I simply can't make the LXPOSED work with this rom. After installation, when clicking the LXPOSED app, it freezes. I didn't face this problem with rooted miui14. My device is POCO F3.

Hi bro..It's like any other android operating system, and you are already trusting miui which has so many shady trackers/permissions. Pixelos is a very popular operating system and it's safe to use, and it's not developed by anonymous people, the developers provide most of their details on the website. You can use banking apps but I have recently seen that some versions of pixelos have issues with banking apps. If you don't trust custom roms, you can remove the bloatware from your phone and continue using miui..

Why do we need to flash miui 14 firmware
As far as I know, it's to update the kernel because some custom roms have older kernels and flashing the firmware will return it to stock, then flashing the rom will allow it to use whatever kernel they have included..

It's a new phone I guess and it came with android 13, why would you want to install a gsi on a new phone?
GSI is a universal opensource and unmodified rom meaning it's pure android (generic system image) that can be installed on many devices but not all. And since your device is running on a mediatek processor, it might be difficult to find any rom.

i had successfully flashed pixelos recovery but when i try to flash the firmware update file for my mi9 via sideload the terminal has an error. and on recovery is reported install completed with status 2 and recovery error 21.

@@ferrari458it2 are you sure that you used the correct firmware for your phone? It looks like there is an issue with the file that you've used.. Miui firmware file 12.5 or higher is required and please also check the firmware region

Can I custom rom my iqoo device if it possible please make a Vedio about it
Iqoo devices do not allow unlocking the bootloader so there's no custom rom support. I am also using an iqoo phone but i can't flash a custom rom on it..

No. Unlocking the bootloader is required for every device, but you need to flash an extra file called copy_partitions. It's a zip file and you can flash it through adb sideload or the recovery (twrp or pixelos recovery). If you can take a look at these steps from the link below, you will get an idea.
