I was surprised that this actually helped. A while ago I installed from the DSU loader one of the GSIs and didn't work, once I restarted the phone it showed me a ''dm verity corruption'' to which I tried to get rid off for some time. I kept searching on google possible solutions until I stumbled upon this video. Thank you.
2 old phones, an XT1021 and an XT1675, which were never flashed with a custom ROM, just put away in cupboard years ago.
Now I want to be sure that they are completely wiped before "recycling" (throwing them away).
Battery has been charging for some time and shows 3.68V. White LED on phone front top is flashing. But screen is completely black so cannot tell when the green android logo is displayed nor enter any menu.
When I plug in USB, watching in Device Manager>Ports can see "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM5)" displayed when phone connects.
Yet Rescue and Smart Assistant does not acknowledge this nor think that anything is connected at all.
Sir how can we know about the Android version of the firmware used in 1st method?
And also will bootloader be unlocked after flashing stock rom from 1st method?
I didnt think it would work because my phone does not get recognised by software(I have moto g8) but it actually worked and i got my phone back).THank you

Thanks, I used this video to flash the rom for Motorola G power 2021 phone. I used the second method and skipped the command fastboot reboot fastboot since it didn't work. I just ran the bat directly after putting phone into the bootloader mode.
TYSM FIRST I THOUGHT I WAS CRYING THE PHONE DDINT BOOT THEN I WIPE ALL DATA NOW IT WORKS TYSM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing I want to lock the bootloader to update so I must do this first. However I don't understand well your English.. In what case we should restore manually the original software? And can I update directly the Android versión Even if My device is running other country - región rom?

Are u currently in custom rom ? Once flash the stock recovery and try again

Bro while restoring stock rom what's the use of twrp backup which we have taken before installing custom ROM?
Twrp backup is taken so that the device specific files are stored in a safe place so that if anything happen we can restore them. If you are restoring stock rom from lsma no need of twrp

No need to flash recovery, take backup and try lsma
My Motorola one fusion plus was stolen, after I rescue my phone the bootloader is unlocked and I can't update my phone. Security patch update is constantly failed after 3% !

If not there then not supported, i think it's because of old model

As u did ,after opening flash rom.bat cmd command rums automatically and it was written at every steps failed, failed.. can u pls look into the matter .
