Adjustable High Chair/Childs Chair

This video describes a high chair that grows downward as a child grows up. It's a copy of an adjustable child's chair that I made for my grandchildren before my CZcams days. They used it from the time they could hold their head up (about 6 months old) until their kindergarten days. Comprehensive plans are available at link above.

If you haven't seen his flip top tool stands and you have limited room in your shop, I highly recommend looking. I copied one from his video years ago and almost gave up several times. It was challenging to get the linkage right to say the least. But he recently made plans for them.

Hey, Mr. Holmgren, I'm wondering what type of engineer you were/are? I believe you've mentioned it, but even so it's evident in the quality of your design and plans. love the design, very simple and robust. What do you think about doing a loading test, to see how much shear those dowels will support?
