The strategic loading of the dishwasher
It makes unloading more efficient, to pick up all the plates in one go, then the bowls, etc.
Arranging the silverware so each type of utensil is all together isn’t as necessary.
My husband was the one who "taught" me how to load a dishwasher. I grew up washing dishes by hand. 😊😆😂🤣😅

Loading the dishwasher, folding towels, stocking the fridge or pantry with groceries, arranging the furniture in the living room are all things that "married" men aren't allowed to do their own way. LOL!
Newly weds are allowed to.. just don't expect them to stay that way.
That's because loading the dishwasher wrong means the dishes don't get clean. Doing laundry in water That's too hot ruins the clothes and doing laundry in water that isn't hot enough without using an all temperature or cold water detergent can mean the clothes don't come clean. Fortunately most of today's detergents are all temperature, but that wasn’t the case when I was growing up. Doing delegates in a regular cycle can tear them

He forgot to mention rinsing the dishes before loading them into the dishwasher...I always do that ..my husband does not.. 😅
No need to rinse. That's why we have a dishwasher
I rinse and/or let soak. Makes perfect sense, but I live alone.

OMG...this is so true, Bill. I didn't realize that I do this too...reorganize the dishwasher, have a set way of doing laundry, etc. But I guess that is just marriage codes! 😂😊😂
Yup, I told the family, “Load the dishwasher my way or you can get up at 5:30am when I do and unload it.” It worked out just fine, it was loaded perfectly every time. 😉☺️
I do this the complete opposite, I put bowls on top & plates on bottom 😂😂
My husband refuses to load the dishwasher correctly. Pots and pans on top, plastic on the bottom. Never puts silverware handle up. Can't tell you how many times I have been stabbed by sharp knives .😢

Hi Bill.... Your wife and I have the same issues with the dishwasher and laundry. Obviously WE know how it needs to be done. Your wife is so lucky that YOU have apparently heard her. My family still hasn't heard or doesn't give a bat's patutty because they know that MOM will make it right. If I don't keep CONTROL in the laundry room it turns into a disaster, hoarder place. I really enjoyed hearing you and it actually made me feel better. Basically, Rule #1 is wife's rules/requests should be followed. Rule #2 refer to rule #1. Take care and thanks for making me laugh.

Me being single and living in my own house. I wash my all my clothes in one load in cold water. I don't wear underwear and don't have to worry about it's feelings getting hurt during the wash cycle.

i wander if that story rings true in the Bill’s house hold. Military set up in the dishwasher. Washing machine at my age 43 i know better ask. two just put them in the basket 🧺 run like you done pulled a pin 🧷 on a grenade. My dad is old school parent ;the almighty word No. or no your not allowed. no explanation. My dad is one of those parents example my brother wanted college education now you’ve bumped up in scale horishima bomb. 💣 My brother got to see the bright light my dad n spending money gave my brother just one year. no more. yes he graduated good glad BUT nobody would hire him. I tried telling my brother they want more education you have no work experience. he filled out countless resumes tried getting into the corporate world cart before the horse. I’m telling if you can afford college most won’t not in todays world being a store manager is something is all he could get even that isn’t fully happy. that you can tell he has to learn the school of hard knocks.
