    Best line of the whole damn thing: "The more waste you produce in the design process, the less waste you'll end up building in the city." Applies for all creative endeavors.

    He's so right about having a multicultural office, everything gets questioned. That's what's interesting about multicultural encounters, relationships, cities and more.

    'ww2 and holocaust are irrelevant, nobody talks about them anymore' - when history stops next time. Guys like Ingels just measure us up the time, ahead, till then. but it seems mankind is on that way, such path. Awaiting 'architecture to end all architecture'. We should do more than filling the space between ruines and design. Something is misssing, and that missing grows? He is a provider. But 'rasender stillstand' of society would not be his fault, he's just a provider.

      +Nando Dolleman Architecture requires powerful computers. Macs simply don't offer them.
      And on the other hand BIG architectural studios (pun intended) work with a lot of different software programs and not all of them have a mac version.

    • @StefanVidenov
      @StefanVidenov Před 8 lety

      +I am Graham, king of the Britons! The MacPro doesn't always cut it as well. It's a 3.5 years old machine with a 4+ years old hardware costing double compared to a PC with the same specs. People who work with numbers rarely choose a mac.
      Yes, there may be firms that use Macs, but they are rare and nearly not existent in poorer countries.

      He reached the architecture top league because he made innovative buildings that people like. He has 150 paid employees working with him both because it's a chance for them to rise in the profession themselves and because they can learn from him. That's how all great architects build their careers.
