I love how Tommy is playing Scrooge, whining at bit, complaining, very like the great Alister Sim in the film Scrooge. So impressed that these handsome metal musicians are willing to put on scary and aging makeup, and love the interplay between the make up and costumes and then how they really look.

People usually ask why we need another retelling of A Christmas Carol. So far, this band has made a compelling argument.
I'm of the mind that if something has been done to death, it is leaps and bounds more difficult to make interesting again. Majestica more than knocked it out of the park with this one.

Tommy Johansson is just incredibly talented on the guitar and on vocals... Johansson is the total package.. he has the voice of a tenor
This album really was and is the result of a Labour of Love from Tommy and the guys, it really shows in the final product, AMAZING talent and creativity.

So you are right, how Americans have taken Dickens to heart. Everyone knows this story, knows about Scrooge, and Marley and the Ghosts, along with Bob Cratchit and his family, with Tiny Tim.

The whole album is so amazing, forget the Christmas theme, this is just an excellent second Majestica album. More theatrical then before, full of classical influences and familiar sounding melodies and arrangements. This album is great for all months and not just for December 😉

Well.....A Heavy Metal Album rendition of the Classic Dickens Tale was something I didn't expect to exist, but I'm glad it does. (Also head banging to God rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and a bit of Deck the Halls is a delight)

Nevermind the Christmas stuff, this is how great something works out when you actually let other members of the band put in the work on the music and the solo and vocal duties. Teamwork, people! Not just a one-man project with hired guns.
Today in science class the teacher let us suggest Christmas songs so I suggested this and she played it! Only one other person in the class liked it :/
