I can do mix voice because I was always try to sing by imitating the vocalist. And because the difference in range between me and the vocalist, I have to find a way to imitate the vocalist until my range was improved too.

These 'whinny gutturals' sounded a bit like pig squeals for me. Maybe getting tight and high pig squeal requests some of this technique?
Most of what makes an iconic pig squeal sound comes from tongue position and the narrowing and lengthening of the vocal tract. But metal vocals are an ever evolving beast, so its certainly possible that some people do use that onset throughout!

The vocals in the song are amazing, but something about the constant metronomic chugging and constant, plodding and unwavering drums that are maintaining a fairly high BPM makes for a very tiring song to listen to, especially as the vocals are much slower and more methodical. It's like there's a boring fast song playing at the same time as a slower, richer, more interesting song. Unfortunately, I think the genre of music just doesn't do it for me, sadly! No doubt they're all excellent musicians though.
