On May 17, 2023, officers were dispatched for a disturbance caused by a man in the vicinity of La Crosse, WI. Just days earlier, the same individual was reportedly involved in an assault on a woman in an elevator. Upon locating the suspect, he attempted to evade capture by fleeing on foot throughout traffic, but ultimately shook hands with the ground. Further investigation revealed that he was out on several bonds at the time of the incident.

That first story is similar to something that happened to me a few weeks ago, a man followed me home after I'd taken my daughter to school police were called they did nothing to investigate they didn't even question the guy even though I later found out he is a convict.
