I'm going to a bar tonight, and I'm going to request this song to karaoke to, and if they don't have it.. i'll be like it's okay, I got it, and start singing!
bloody awesome .the notes say it peaked at number 52 .....jeeeeeeeeeeeeeezuz .what the fuck is wrong with this country where a song like this only makes 52??????? ......
One of my favourite songs 9 my teen years, but this is the second video I've seen for it and neither of them are much cop. Maybe that's why it peaked at #52...
Remember hearing this on the radio at the time and thinking it was going to be a big hit. And when it wasn't, I just couldn't believe it! A band who should have been bigger than they were but hey kids, they weren't Duran Duran. The 80s sucked in so many ways.
I loved all the liverpool bands , Wah, Teardrops,Bunnymen etc but i could never warm to this lot.... way too bland and formulaic for my taste no edge what so ever
They play this song on a retro station in prov RI. And I had to find it. Kick ass tune!
This is a brilliant song. The energy and good vibes of good rock music are like nothing else. Thanks for posting,
This song is bloody class-wouldn’t of minded getting to know Jane either back in the day!

more indie pop than post punk..but lets not categorize good music.

Very cool track. It's been awhile.

An Irish one !!!!
Not many left tho`.
the drummer looks like anthony michael hall.
@mrfreakypaul I'm afraid not. If we do it again then I'll be sure to get it recorded. It lends itself very well to a pseudo-country style! =D
I don't understand Jane either, anyone who does? X
