0:02 the MS value here is not ping but frametime which is closely related to fps for the most part (480 fps like here is roughly 2.1ms)

ms value is frame rating your input lag performance
the more better pc(gaming superior class if you can): you can get better input lag latency (mine get 0.85 ms and my old pc get 2.4)
i feel the lag tho at low end pc when it come at jumps part and stream(its so true i tried it and compare it to my new pc and the new pc perform better)
but you also can make input lag better if you turn off all the detail and using the lower resolution like you playing other games
and i suggest you to delete all @2x elements on your osu skin or convert the @2x if possible
@@fikstormch.6893 it's not input lag. 0.8ms means you're getting around 1300fps. While higher fps will help with input lag, saying frametime is directly equal to input lag is wrong because it's more closely related to fps
@Subject 323 thats not what that means at all "your windows isnt optimized" no it means your gpu is probally down clocking or you have shitty hardware or stuff running in the background
@@kaimuu frametime is the time between each new frame. The lower the frametime the faster a new image gets displayed, resulting in having less input lag. Its not related to fps because IT IS FPS. Its just 1000 divided by your FPS.
Frametime is in a sense directly equal to input lag, seeing that at low framerates such as 60 or even 30 your input lag gets increased by 16.6ms/33.3ms, in that case your fps make up the most of your input lag.
@@krob_ Yes exactly, I guess I worded it wrong but I basically wanted to say that it's equal to fps in most if not all cases unless something is wrong and saying it's 100% equal to input lag is wrong but they have a high correlation

The ability to save failed replays is awesome, before they added it and if it was a good replay i had to open up obs to record the whole replay and if it was a marathon it tool a while, second best update being right below increasing the cursor size options from .5-2.0 to .1-2.0 (before that i had to go into the cfg file to change it to my perfered .35 and when they patched that out i legit emailed peppy cause i wanted the option so bad)

Also, note that local offset subtracts from global offset, so local offset of -100 actually makes it go forwards by 100ms
i only have snaking sliders on because a lot of the time i play with skins with slider ends (because i cycle through all my skins when i cant pass a map because i dont remember why its just a habit).

Shift + F12 to take an uploaded screenshot (a screenshot that is hosted on .ppy.sh). A URL will open up in your default browser with your screenshot link ready.
In the song select menu, right-clicking your mouse will make the list jump to the mouse's position. This is good for scrolling through quickly.
Sending /np in an IRC chat will send the current song you are listening to.

I've been playing for 4 years and didn't know about the shift f2
It would be cool if there were a filter for ranks. For example: rank=s , rank=b, rank=0 (no rank). I think about it some times when I wanna fix low acc. Cut the collections can be annoying with it sometimes.

Also while on pause, pressing esc or enter (but if you didn't used arrow key) will works the same as pressing continue. This will prevent you by pressing the retry button by accident

i have almost 700 hours in the game now, the ones that are definetly going to be useful that i did not know about previously, will be shift + f2, and the massive amount of other filter results, i have only used previously these (BPM, Stars, Keys.) the ones that will definetly be very useful for me will be (Creator, Status, mode, unplayed, artist). Thanks for this video! Quite useful even for refreshing memory.

I can’t read sliders properly without sneaking sliders. The way it goes out helps me read what side to hit. I’ve been playing for a year and I’m still like this. Idk why but I am.

one more tip: you can hide the replay scrolling text using the button H while watching the replay.
try holding shift and double clicking on osu icon in your desktop/folder/whatever

imagine having ping in osu. man. its just a frametime in ms, 1000/frametime = current fps.
Also, unfortunatelly, you need to have bought a supporter at least once to be able to change username.
