    In the 2003-2004 season, the Pistons did not rely on a small number of star players, but instead built a team with a well-balanced force at each position.
    Rasheed Wallace, who joined the Pistons midway through the season, was the only star player on the team, and Wallace was the only one with an annual salary of more than $10 million.
    Karl Malone, who was transferred to the Lakers in hopes of winning their long-awaited championship, continued to suffer from injuries throughout the season, and was finally removed from the starting lineup in Game 5 of the Finals.
    With this loss, one of the strongest teams in league history, which had won three consecutive championships in the early 2000s, was disbanded.

    The Bad Boy Pistons were the cause of rules changes in the 90s and the Going to Work Pistons are why theres no defense in the game now. People complained that the games were boring to watch. Lets not forget they also had the extremely underrated Derek Fisher on the team too. On top of that they got swept 4-1. If sports betting apps were around back then they would of cleaned up lol

Its too bad they would never give the finals MVP award to a defensive player like Ben. 🐐 first team all defense, ASG starter, 2nd team all NBA, finished 7th in mvp voting. Jaden & Ausar need more playing time. I'm not sure why Monty is benching them. If Pistons have a decent center like Sengun, they will be on top 4 seeds for sure. I still believe Cade has more potential on his ceiling. Want to blame inefficient front office and coaching staffs not the young players. They need more help & clear direction not the criticism!

    • @shin267
      @shin267 Před 4 měsíci +4

      Monty doesn't know what he's doing. At the start of the season they looked ok. Duren looked like a potential all-defence candidate. Ausar is incredible defensively but isn't being allowed to play through his mistakes. Same thing with Ivey. He's chopping and changing his lineup too much and there's no flow in the team. He doesn't know his best team, which is not good enough at this point of the season

    • @andylee9676
      @andylee9676 Před 4 měsíci +2

      Can't agree more bro👍 Monty should look at Rockets how they rebuild the team. Need more fixed lineups not shaking things up. Young cornerstones need at least 30 minutes of playing time for experience. I believe their ceilings are higher than Rockets if they have a player like Jokic or Sengun.
