@@luckyduchesse8924 I think so, too. And with one parent leaning towards the elder clan, and the other the newer one, the kid’s choice could affect which clan is more powerful.
@@zkw100 Yes indeed, you're probably right. But it''s not a good idea to hate her then, that will not make her love their clan. Maybe they want to outcast her, so she can't steal the "throne" of the most powerful vampire and so that she won't join the new clan either.
I always imagined that because she hates the leader of each clan she would create her own when she grow up

The name translations could be a fun guessing game for people who never played the translated version! Who is Laura Caixão? Who is Natércia Fundoraso?

Just to add that the "Goth family" became the "Coffin family" (Família Caixão) and the "Landgrabbers" family became "I-want-all-that's-yours" family (quero-tudo-que-é-seu). But at least it kinda makes sense... What I'll never understand is why "Bella" did not become "Isabela" instead of Laura. 🤷🏻♂️
In the tv show Being Human (UK), the vampire character works as an orderly in a hospital. The characters of that show actually appear in Moonlight falls as the Roommates Supernatural Household. Maybe Elvira is stealing blood bags from the hospital to satiate her thirst? Or offering terminally ill patients a chance at eternal life?

Those characters don’t actually appear in Moonlight Falls because the names are different. It’s just a reference, if anything. A household of supernatural roommates doesn’t require a ton of creativity.
I think the reason why Vlad might have a problem choosing between the old clan and the new one is because he's a coward. I mean, when he first arrived, following Elvira was an easy choice because she's the most powerful vampire. But if others start standing up to her? Then he's going to have to choose between picking the safe option and going with the new clan or standing by his friend even if it could put him in danger (or he could potentially just distance himself from Elvira and leave the whole conflict behind).
That's my theory, at least.

I find it really funny how like, 3/4 of the vampires of the game are really evidently vampires, and yet all the normal sims are like "hhmmmmm,,,, that's odd but i'm not gonna question it" like, bro they LITERALLY HAVE RED EYES, WEIRD FACES AND FANGS

Actually I play as vampire and almost everytime my sims met new npc/sims, he always get threatened instantly by them.. and it's hard to get a relationship with them, I didn't understand the first time why the kept threatening my sim and I see their bubble conversation that it shows like beast/monster everytime they threatened my sim.. so it means they know I'm a kind of beast or vampire already xD.. I'm not even drink any blood yet but they already hating me as vampire
So I turned them into vampire,
I'm not going to suffer alone xD

I recently downloaded Lucky Palms, and apparently the tea there is PIPING. The game starts out with 5 pregnant sims, many of which are out of wedlock/are a result of infidelity, & 2 are mother-daughter. A lot of sims have several ex-boyfriends/ex-girlfriends as well- sims 3 really is wild
Not to mention, there’s a cop in the world who’s investigating something dodgy in the town. This is a good world to do some lore on.

There's one girl... I thibk her name is Lina, or its her moms name. She might be the ilegitimate daughter of one fo the Alto's brothers. Probably Nick. Bert's description implies that his running away from his past, he has the mooch trait and doesn't have the best paying job to be rich. I think he found out his brother secret lovr affair and black mailed Nick.

People with O type blood are considered universal donors, so it would make sense that the Vampires prefer this type of blood, as it is accepted by any type :)
Although in a different language it is e.g. Translated into Finnish as "Hurme", which of course means the same thing, except refers to the general format.

There is something else I would like to add to this. Jessica Talon has a townie mother named Erika Talon. It's interesting since Jessica doesn't appear to know her. Erika also doesn't have the evil trait. She is also an adult, and is oddly quite a bit older than Elvira Slayer and Vladimir Schlick. She is about 38 days away from aging up into an elder(according to the Sims Wiki.) I'm not sure how important this is to the story here, but I think it's a good detail to add.
What if Elvira, who works at a hospital, changes the genes of the babies and turns them into vampires. If Jessica was taken as a baby that could be why she doesn’t know her mom

Me thinks that naturally born vampires are something that are unheard of in this city, so Elvira strongly disapproves of Belladona being born. Her father knows this and probably fears for his daughters safety, hence why he may want to leave the old clang. His wife wants to stay because she's worked so hard to get into the old clang that she refuses to give up on it (this could lead to an affair).
PS sorry for not remembering all their names, there's just so many of them. Really look forward to hearing more from these vampires.

Elvira is actually the name of Bella Goth in spanish speaking countries :D, the full name is Elvira Lápida ... Lápida means grave
Maybe she is a Gene Therapist not to make vampires but to pull some strings into having more people with good genes and maybe good quality blood. 🤷♂️
I always thought William Fangman's secret admirer was Hannah Symth from the Pala family. Their family bio states that she has an obsession with reality tv and William's household is supposed to be on a reality tv show called Little Celebrity.
Bridgeport is my favorite world. Sims 3 truly has the best lore
My sim is friends with Vlad and i was shook when he took out his laptop after i learned he was a technophobe 💀
Bridgeport was such a good town, Sam Myshuno could never touch it.
Elvira ia one of my faves in Bridgeport. One of the funniest moments was when i was invited to a party and she was going to sleep, but this other sim kept playing guitar in the room, so she was constantly getting up and snapping at the Sim for making noise (i wish i could have stuck around to see if the Sim ever stopped).
it's also pretty interesting that all the hemlocks have names with celtic roots. wogan basically means scowler, whilst brigit, morrigan and belisama all have names connected to goddesses from various celtic language cultures.
i got homework but this is more important to watch aye

Thank you! I loove lore, it makes a game seem so real and personal (which is why Sims 4 is my least favorite). A game with lore gives you something to work with and allows you to express yourself in ways you would have avoided. Just wanted to get that out there.
I have a theory about Elviras relationship with Morrigan.
Morrigan is insane and Elvira knows it, so she manipulated her into joining the elder clan. Wogan knows Elvira’s plan hence why he is in the newer clan and is enemies with her

I never get over about how much new things i usually learn from your videos about pre-made sims because i almost never play them, but interact with them often.
So in one of my games right now i created my vampire sim and she became friends with basically every other vampires but Elvira started flirting with my sim, so i thought "she seems cool, why not?" and they ended up marrying.
But wait, there's more - after Elvira moved in with me - i started to play her as well.
I made her quit her old job and made her get on the right way with the criminal career.
And as i continued playing - i made her befriended all her enemies and she had a REALLY big chemistry with Jessica so they also ended up lovers (weirdly enough, but when my sim asked her if she's single, it appeared on the pannel that she does not have any romance with anyone else) .
So i thought that's actually a really cool turn of events and does make sense because Elvira and Jessica have so much in common!
night life was the only dlc I owned a few years ago when I used to play ts3 all the time, so I live for this video ❤
(btw I love all of your videos and you made me buy ts3 so I can play it again hehe)

William is unlucky which technically makes him immortal if he dies from thirst he will just be resurrect by grimm so maybe that’s why he’s friends with the old school vampires because nothing can kill him this makes him very useful
i always found it interesting how morrigan who originally was human is friends with the older clan leader while wogan is best friends with the leader of the younger clan
Elvira working at the hospital could also just be a convenient way for her to get as much blood as she needs without having to lure humans.
I love these videos as even though I’m a long time sims 3 player, I’ve never really bothered to learn about the lore behind them. Really enjoying your sims 3 content 🙂

When I first started playing sims 3 I was kinda young and I remember playing the Hemlocks as a quite wholesome and happy yet some kind of unconvential family (quite like the Addams family type), who work their way to happiness, support one another and help their daughter grow up to be a happy and successful person
1:23 she lives in sanguine arms, as the definition of sanguine is "consisting of or relating to blood", quite fitting for a vampire

In portuguese, Vicky, the Vampiress from Sims 1 is named Elvira. So when I got to play Late Night, I thought Elvira Slayer and Vicky were the same thing, till i found out that the names were translated. I was so sad. Haha I think that the Sims team only likes to recreate the main Goth/Pleasant/Caliente/Lothario/Dreamer/Broke in other games, which is awful cuz I love so many premade sims.
With one vampire sim being a gene therapist and another aspiring to be a DNA profiler, could these vampires being trying to create genetically superior vampires together. I know you mentioned about Elvira, but I just found it interesting she wasn’t the only one in a career related to genetics.

Vlad might be older due to how signs work. Its same when you have 2 twins born that get different signs (one is older than other even tho it doesnt make sense)

bro i loved vampires in the sims 3, s4 vampires just don't really do it for me even though I love playing as one... its may just be that in the s3 they're in the urban area and ofc the lore. Also when I was little I remember trying to get morrigan with cornelia, ooooh the good ol' days

I've never seen others make videos on the Bridgeport vampires, so this video made me happy! I don't have that many TS3 packs but Late Night is my favorite and I always end up playing in this town. There's definitely a lot of drama in these families.
Jessica Talon's last name could be referring to The Court of Owls from DC Comics. They're a secret society made up of Gotham City's richest elite that keeps the city in order by ressurecting dead assasins, called Talons, and sending them out to kiII their rivals. They aren't vampires but it's not like Gotham is a stranger to bat-themed characters.
Talon was released in 2011, I think. And Jessica was created in 2010. The name Talon comes from the word that refers to the large claw of a bird of prey such as a hawk or an eagle.
I never rly played in bridgeport, bc I'm not a city kind of person. But the lore omg. Can't wait till the next uploads on the people around 😍

I’m very late to comment, but I just have to say how I think it’s so cool that the Sims 3 vampire communities seem to be matriarchal. Both clan leaders are women and so is their future competitor aka Belisama. The vibe here is strongly girlboss, gatekeep, gaslight and I’m living for it 😌💅
What I find funny is that without knowing the lore at all of Bridgeport I made a sim who is a Vampire and she plans on taking over the town and converting people to vampirism through her charm and looks and potion making. XD
I think this character is a vampire version of the Elvira /Bella Goth from the sims 2. And the book gives me curiousity hehe.

I have the theory that the whole vampire plot in Bridgeport is a reference to the videogame Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines which means Elvira Slayer is supposed to be the Camarilla Prince of the city and the vampires she gets along with are those who side with the Camarilla while Jessica Talon would be the leader of the Anarchs and all the vampires she has a good relationship with are Anarchs. I think that makes perfect sense and explains the vampire feud. Elvira's job as a gene therapist could be a hint about her being a Tremere (?) since that clan have a blood bending ability and many use to work in medicine related professions 🤔 Jessica could be a Brujah (she has the daredevil trait and works in the military career) and that clan usually sides with the Anarchs.

my theory for why Vladimir Shlick is older than Elvira Slayer is that he was previously the most powerful vampire, then Elvira moved in or something and she beat him in a vampire duel or something, giving her the title. he's not a sore loser and could see that having the most powerful vampire as an ally would be beneficial, so hence the friendship.
I honestly wish the sims 4 had story lines like this and I wish I could run the sims 3 on my Mac... ;(
Huh that can’t be right you should be that came out with a update to fix it for Mac users at the end of October I think and also Mac users get the 64bit update for sims 3 I have that and it removes all the lags
@@kld6 yes it’s playable but around every 40 minutes without lag the game crashes and it’s so frustrating.
