No worthless rail! ❤❤❤❤❤
Turkey is knocking it out of the park! Thanks Dan!
No doubt Joe
Super nice looking. Reminds me a bit of THE CZ 83. Hopefully 380 gets cheaper as more guns in it are sold. I wish caliber cost was based on how much actual materials go into a round. Because 380 would be cheaper than 9! And i wouldn't be paying more for 410 than 12 GA...
I've always liked full sized 380 handguns. Thanks for the review.
I love it, if i had one wish tho it would be for decocker.
Agreed. It makes no sense to me for a semi-automatic to be double-action without a de-cocker.
Good Review! With the exception of the Safety, looks to be an improved copy of the Browning BDA .380,
which was made by Beretta for Browning, which in turn was a modified Beretta 84.
Had a Browning BDA .380 at one time and I might consider buying one of these Girsans.
Looking forward to the Range Report!
You are full of surprises with another addition to the MC14 line. Thanks.
When Berettas got so expensive I retired my two back to the safe and out of carry rotation. Always loved carrying them so this new offering may have to get one to try out..
Looking forward to the range report Dan. That looks like a quality pistol. Nice job !
Yes, looking forward to your range report.
Im a fan of metal DA/SA pistols. Looks like another winner from Girsan👍
Comparable to the Beretta Cheetah 80x... Interesting!
Was thinking the sane thing... always wanted a Baby Hi Power ( can't remember the actual model name)
The 80x is optic cut and has a rail. If it was cheaper than $700-$800 I’d have one. I may have to settle for a girsan which I believe translates to “berettas for the poors”
I was thinking the same thing and probably half the cost
@@hillbillywizard75 I digress , it's a pistol for the smart people that don't buy the roll mark.
The MC14-T has a tip up barrel , like a Beretta Tomcat or model 86.
BDA - embracing its Browning Double Action with the closed slide, but with the frame mounted levers AND the Beretta 86 tip up barrel with the T version.
Looking forward to the range review
Dan, that reminds me of the Beretta model 84 I carried in the 80s and 90s. 13 rd..380. I wish I had never sold it. But now..this comes along..we shall see after your range time. I'm sure it will pass the test.
Stay safe.
Good looking gun. Thanks, Dan.
Thanks Bob
A nice looking little pistol and to me it looks like a miniature PO1.
Great video and wonderful pistol.. something is happening with the .380, I’ve seen more and more cases at the range and seen more purchase at the shops.. glad to see you put that glove one .. great review as always..
👍👍Thanks Dan, looking forward to you shooting it at the range. Nice looking pistol.
Excellent pistols coming out of Turkey.
Nice offering from Girsan , that gun remind me of the Bersa tpr380 . Girsan is releasing new guns more than any other Turkish manufacturer.
I noticed that too Jet
Thanks for showing this one, FireArmGuy.
They made a good looking one, and imo the right size, most people dont need the added risk of pocket carry and the harsher recoil dont think you mentioned how stout the spring is
The spring is definitely heavier than the Walther PD380
Looks nice, I don't know why they don't give an extra mag.
Thanks bro. Keeping cost down
just purchased one because of your review. thank you
I wonder if it takes Beretta 84 mags???
OR ... 80X mags
🤔 vs Bersa?
Believe it or not, the Bersa has less recoil.. shot both on the same day. For whatever reason this BDA is very snappy
I've got an mc14t on the way. Wanted to check one out before potentially recommending it to the parents who are in their early 70's and interested in the idea of going to a 380.
I have Girsans. Girsan makes a great gun. However, my Bersa Thunder Pro has an aluminum frame, 15 round capacity, and a decocker. Great review, but I am sticking with my Bersa.
Wow, not a straight blow back! Nice!
Actually it is a straight blowback design. The barrel is easily removed for disassembly, but it remains completely fixed during operation. It is a Beretta 84/Cheetah design, but with an ejection port instead of the open slide, it is almost exactly like the Browning BDA 380. BDA is even in the name of this Girsan gun. Beretta made the BDA for Browning.
Similar to the Girsan MC-14T except the MC-14T has the pop up barrel. Any other differences?
I noticed that too. Not much different
Good video as usual Sir !!!
Much appreciated GTO
This is pretty much a Browning BDA clone. Love that!
Came here to say that. The Browning BDA was based on the Beretta 81/84 and made by Beretta.
@@vksjd True! And it was a very nice gun.
@@S.A.Masquerade I've never fired a BDA or a Cheetah, but I've been interested and kept my eye out for a nice used one at a decent price. The new Beretta 80X is cool, but expensive. The MC-14T didn't appeal to me because I don't like not being able to break it down for cleaning. This might be a decent option.
@@vksjd I was considering getting a Bersa 380 Plus, but now I might hold out for this 380. I don't care much for the MC14T either. But I do like the BDA look.
Yo Danno, interesting looking gun. Thanks and stay safe
I think I need this Good looking pistol.
Nice looking pistol
The 380 is a good cartridge. The key to the 380 is the pistol. Get a good quality pistol and the 380 has great potential.
That looks well made.
The MC14-T has a tip up barrel , like a Beretta Tomcat or model 86.
Wow! Beautiful pistol
I could buy 3 of them for the price I paid on my 80X 😂
Thanks!
Thanks so much Von. That means a lot!!
Hi Dan, nice review!
What is the DA pull weight?
OJ vibes with the glove test, Dan-O. I call Rider to the stand to question you. 👨🏻⚖️😂
Very reminiscent of the Bersa Thunder 380.
... this looks suspiciously like the old Browning BDA 380, had one years ago, great shooter. I would think that the old Beretta and Browning 380 mags will fit - and economically friendly, not like the Cheetah 80x at 50.00 a pop! And people complain that Sig mags are way overpriced ...
Beretta frame inspired, nice review as always 😊👍
Girsan copies Beretta all the time - makes sense
It’s a browning BDA clone
Wow! With a 3.8 inch barrel, I'll buy one !😅
Model 84 with the Browning Style Closed slide but for a budget price.
I like the safety being able to be engaged hammer up and hammer down. I just wish that the safety included a decocker
It is a licensed copy of the Berretta 84BB.
It looks nice.
I have the 84BB with Packmyer grips and people luv to shoot it.
I am also a 380 fan. I have urban 2 legged predators and need little or no exit velocity.
Nice my Ruger American compact with polymer frame wieghs 29 oz unloaded.
Nice you can carry cocked and locked, 80x you can't its a decocker😔
Looking for the review of the tip-up barrel version...
The price is right. Looks great. If it runs, I'll probably be shopping for one.
Looks like a CZ PCR in 380, nice
Have a Girsan mc27 in 9mm
After seeing your video or two on this pistol and comparing the MC14BDA to the Tisas Fatih 380, they are the exact same pistol best I can tell. I own the Fatih 380 and it is as nice shooting as my Beretta 84 it was patterned after.
My MC14T would not cycle consistently. Sent it back to the company but they did not fix it. Took it to a local gunsmith and he polished the lower feed ramp and now it runs great. It cost me $70 to send it to EAA Girsan and $20 for the local gunsmith. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS GUN OR THE COMPANY BECAUSE THEY DON'T BACK THEIR PRODUCT.
I had a mc14 recently but it was from the original imports maybe 4-5 years ago. It was very accurate, only ran rounded nose hollow points anything with a flat nose would fail to chamber. And it was terrible about binding on reassembly to the point of the slide was half on but it wouldn’t go on completely or off. Something to watch out for. After the slide got stuck and I finally freed it up I sold it bc I didn’t trust it anymore. I’m interested if these are just more imports of the same or if they’re truly like an updated version
Unless they changed it since they were imported by Zenith, it's a merge of the Browning BDA and Beretta 84. Maybe a little more 84 because it would take the Beretta mags and grip panels (with a little fitting).
It is a great shooter except the hammer will nibble on your hand if you hold it high and tight. Hopefully they fixed that problem.
Solid comment Texas
Interesting, Zenith Firearms and Chiappa both sold a version of this several years ago. MC14 . Rural King sold the Chiappa .
Nice bro!
Thanks bro
Maybe it costs $380 also!
$1 per caliber so $380 is right. I'm sure it will less.
Hi Dan great to see ya again! This is obviously a copy of the Browning BDA .380. Dan I was wondering IF You would see if this Pistol will accept Mec-gar mags for the Beretta 84 or the BDA .380.
Girsan had an MC 14 5 years, or so, ago that was a little more angular, squared off. This one looks more like a Browning DBA 380. Wish it had the hammer drop safety.
Just picked it up a RangeUSA and shot it this evening. Fantastic, reliable, accurate. Where can I get more magazines? Or do Browning BDA magazines fit?
Beauty!
Thanks
Sure, I just got a Ruger Security 380. It's great, but would rather have a metal one. This looks good.
It looks a lot like a CZ 75 compact, B,D or BD. Why have it be double action if there's no de-cocker?
I guess they didn't think a decocker was a big deal
Dan, I'm wondering if you can help me out ? Not really on the topic of this gun that you're showing but I have a Magnum Research mr9 Eagle 4 1/2 in. I'm looking to replace the front and rear sight to fiber optic sights. I can't seem to find them anywhere. Would you happen to know where I can get ahold of them, any information would be helpful thank you. Also I love the Gershen❤❤
Looks like they have left a LOT of sight radius on the table. Could be another .5" apart if they cut the dovetails right.
Right on Rye
I like it
Thanks Cam
Sold me on it 😊, can't wait to get my hands on one. Me and my credit card thankyou lol.
Hammer fired. 😁
Dan/RUGER HAS A 9 INCH 44 MAGNUM/ PLEASE DO A VIDEO ON THIS. THANKS
Oh man I would love that
Wonder if it is compatable with the browning bda grips and mags
That's a great question. I should try to figure that out prior to my range review
.380 is the come back kid!
Nice 🙂👍
Thanks Dragon
they list it as $360 msrp
Hope there are 10 rounds mags for it. For us less fortunate, living in firearm unfriendly states.
Does this have delayed blowback? The Beretta Model 84 I used to own was straight blowback and thus had an unfortunately heavy spring. Was a bear to rack the slide. This looks a lot more promising if it's not straight blowback.
Is very nice little piece, well not so little... A little on the chunky side for a 380 though. I be lying if I said I wasn't interested. I actually don't think I'd ever carry it because I really don't carry a pistol in that light of a calibre. And if I need something small well, I have 9 mm's that are smaller than that and holds the equivalent amount of rounds or more. But at the end of the day.
I like it.
they been killing it
I luv my 380acp tools
What’s the point of a double/single action pistol without a decocker? I’m not being snide - I legitimately want to know!
Anyone shooting a single action already knows how to let down the hammer.
You can carry it cocked and locked 😉
Wow! Looks super nice! I like 380. You can get 380 cheaper than 9mm if you shop around for bulk ammo... It's actually quite a bit cheaper..
Where are you finding it cheaper?
Thanks Curly
80x clone? Thanks for the great video
Browning BDA clone
Or Beretta 84. Kind of goes hand in hand
It looks like a fantastic gun at that price. I would love to get my hands on one!
I am incredibly puzzled about this: I cannot figure out why you did not mention that it is a Browning BDA clone which of course is a Beretta Cheetah clone that was made by Beretta and had no open slide. BDA is even in the name. I know that you know all that -- ?? Why not mention it?
Browning BDA copy , nice !!
Pretty much thanks Anthony
One magazine???
Looks like my Cheetah
Yes sir, for $350
want it so bad!
I found a website that says the MSRP is $368.00. not too bad, but im sure it will be less than $300 or so.
I couldn't find that
@@TheFirearmGuy gun magazine warehouse has an article on them from November, 2023.
Yet another hammer fired metal framed not like we don’t have enough of those already, I’m telling ya we’ve reached the peak of gun innovation in todays world
👍
glad to see this as the mc14 tip up was a dog..... be a year till the price comes off of MSRP . I dont presently own a 380. if this was cambered in 9mm I would buy 2....lol
Dang, sucks that you have one in your hands but no MSRP
368
Southpaw friendly is a must! But why do so many Arms Companies only provide one magazine? Is that hard to supply a spare?????
Definitely cost cutting Brent
Beretta 84BB clone
I love DA/SA pistols, but I’ve noticed that nearly all the Turkish-made DA/SA pistols lack a decocker. They only come with a manual safety sans decocker. This means that after loading the pistol, I’m forced to manually drop the hammer to carry it in DA mode. This is a show stopper for me. There must be a cultural reason for their aversion to a decocker.
You can’t carry it cocked and locked, it’s a safety thing. Also don’t get a 1911, nobody needs a decocker on those either 😂
Beretta 84 clone.
