Love these ideas! Just wanted to add a tip for spray painting plastic...Wipe down the plastic item with isopropyl alcohol before painting and let dry. It makes the paint stick like crazy. Great video, Megan!

one more idea for your paper towel "spice rack" would be to take a silver or white sharpie and write the name of the spice on the lid so you can spot what you need easier. Love your ideas.

The phone ring stuff wowed me. I have seen those things so much and never considered they had such range
I know! I just got the great idea of using them as curtain rings.. I leave my backdoor open during the summer.. I have more than enough dogs I'm not worried about anything other than people looking into my kitchen, lol.. Those would be great to put on the ceiling, run a dowel rod through and then put a curtain up to block off the view in my kitchen, but still give me air flow... Which is my biggest problem. The house lacks windows and there is a lack of air flow, which is why I leave te backdoor open in the summer. I don't like AC.

My sentiments EXACTLY Susan! Same exact 20 $1 store DIY's for years upon years...and then I clicked on this site...New, genius & actually USEFUL vs maybe 1 out of 5 are maybe practical like the others. I'm almost embarrassed about how excited I am about this! Lol.
I got the phone rings and command style hooks for my 2 remotes in the office area. I have a new list for my next trip to Dollar Tree.
One thing I have learned is to write is the use for each item! Sounds silly, but I forget!

You have changed my life! Paper towel holders for wreath storage! Yay! Love all your ideas...thanks 👍🏻❤️😊 Hey, just an additional note, if you love the soda can holders, if you ever get rid of an old fridge or freezer...save the bins and baskets out of them. They are great organizational items for the pantry and garage. I saved the baskets from an old freezer that died, and they became basketball, football, Frisbee (you get the picture) storage, and they hang nicely on the wall. The fridge bins are just about double the size, and a lot deeper than the soda can storage and great for the pantry. Now I guess I’ll have people going out on trash night looking for abandoned appliances 😂 Have a great evening.

"Puzzles boxes are the worst ever!" 😂 i agree, bags are way more space efficient! I remember back in grade school, all of our puzzles were in hanging bags which is what I do now in my sons closet.
I never saw this done before! I wish I saw this years ago. Once a month I use to make my kids put all the puzzles together to make sure there were no pieces missing. It's my pet peeve it to keep toys that are no longer functional because of missing parts 😂 I dont know why puzzles aren't sold in reusable bags like M&Ms and other candies!

I am in awe over the cell phone rings for remote controls! My brother has a DJ business. He uses many remote controls to turn disco lights, spot lights, mirror ball and music on and off. I will buy those cell phone rings and command hooks for him! He has a wooden case that surrounds the mixing board. It will be a perfect place for the remotes to hang. I will use them for all of our remotes at home as well. Thank you!

Well I'm happy I could brighten your day. I enjoy your channel immensely. You are so down to earth and not phony at all. I watch other CZcamsrs do their thing, and it seems like everyone has the same house same white kitchen, etc. I'm so sick of seeing people decorate their mantels. I've seen so many of these videos and they invariably have something way more expensive that you need paired WITH Dollar Tree items but this video does not do that and I can't thank you enough for it!! I love these ideas!!!! You're amazing.

Your are amazing! I haven’t seen a video this great! Tip from me. Write the name of your spices in a white sharpie on the lids. I use a lazy Susan for mine. I will now try you idea above my lazy Susan! More storage yay!!! ALSO- you can put a nail or screw, through the cheap command hooks. Or use e6000-They fall off with just the adhesive they come with.

I use the hanging shower caddies from Walmart to store my spices, that way they're upright and more easily accessible.

i think im doing this correct, this is actually my first time to ever comment or do any thing at all on something i viewed. im not that computer lit. but i felt the need to give you a tidbit. Did you know that if your ever trying to clean a dry erase board, like from accidentally using permanent marker or by using a dry erase marker that didnt come off like it should. Instead of ruining the board with bleach of acetone. All you have to do is go over the areas that wont erase of with a fresh dry erase marker. yes! im saying go over the permanent marker with a dry erase marker then wipe it clean. its that simple..
I LOVE that trick, use it all the time. It works so well!

Have done this with nail polish, if you don't seem to have remover, just go over with fresh polish (clear if possible) then after a few seconds, wipe off old polish, may have to do more than once to get it off.
Alcohol sanitizer wipes or liquid hand sanitizer will do it for most solid surfaces. Also ... get ready for this...
A product called “Kiss Off” takes permanent marker out of fabric. Apply then wash. It looks like a stick of lip gloss or chap stick. It’s called kiss off because it removes lipstick as well. ; ) A tip from an old art teacher.

I saw in the community post you committed about not having a vehicle.... I feel you on that girl. When I was pregnant with my daughter I didn't have a car & more recently we only had one vehicle for our family. In 2017-2018 school year there wasn't enough funding for the school to keep the my CTE program and I didn't find another job. Then someone t-boned my car we had to use that money to pay other bills and I was with out a car for 2 years. On top of not being able to snag great free items I really felt trapped at home. I was able to find good items on curbside for trash day though. Does your area have large pick up days?

They are EXTREMELY easy to look over, but, not every store has them. When ever I see them I buy a few because they're so useful! I think I mentioned it in the video, but they work great for their intended purpose too ❤ Much love -Megan

The 2nd metal wall hook. I use them to hang up headphones, scrunchies, keychains, and misc. The S hooks are for wreathes. They are great

I use the ring for the cell phones to hang my razor in the shower. Hasnt come loose in 6 months

Great ideas. When my children were little, I put a dot on the back of each puzzle piece using all the same colour. Mark the matching dot on the box and again they know what goes where. Using a different colour for each puzzle.
