Bad policing?, they could not find a gun that is a few lots away on the day of the murder? I would imagine starting with listing everybody in the vicinity who are owners of guns and ammo. Why the grandparent is not charged is another mystery, even worse he let a 7-year-old get hold of a gun and break into another unit without any measure preventing him from doing what he did. May the victim rest in peace, and watch that "10-year-old", I suppose 3 years on that is ancient...I would not want my kid to go to school with him.

No one would ever think to question a seven year old child in the first murder. WTH?? No arguing, he wasn’t sticking up for grandpa… he just took a gun and sh0t the guy to death as he slept. 🤦‍♀️ AND making matters worse, the first one was "free" because he was too damn young to punish!! So now we know who’s responsible for his death but there’s nothing to be done about it. How about his parents or guardians at the time he committed the crime?? Where were they while this kid was out terrorizing the neighborhood? WHY did a 7yo have access to a firearm to begin with?? Child neglect maybe?? This is just wrong on many levels!

If we are supposed to discipline our children for minor wrongs, how much more so this?
Specialists who truly know and empathize with children but also who work on the healthy development of their well being and mental state are needed.
I think striving to teach compassion and a healthy conscience is first and foremost.
We want children to avoid becoming another hurtful individual, yet sadly if they do, we want them and all seemingly ruthless individuals, to understand the pain more than experience just punishment.
If it hurts one to hurt another, then that is a person most likely to avoid doing harm.
But if one doesn't care about themselves, they are most likely not to care for others.
Hence self love, empathy and all Godly characteristics truly are needed.
I am relieved to see the father so loving and strong thus he wont be consumed nor his peace be stolen.
I pray the victims family draw ever closer to God while healing until they meet their loved one again.💐
