On a side note, as I mentioned before, EDN is stronger then Rampage ghost in every way, what I don't get its the damage as you can see is lower. But I've checked, Terrains rank is the same, and Excellen's ace bonus is +10% assist damage and -20% damage assist Guard. While Ariel/Arriere has the same +10% assist damage. But those are not related anyway. - Hry

The Love bonus affects damage output as well, providing +12% final damage if Kyosuke and Excellen are adjacent (not diagonal) to each other, +16% if they're in a Twin together. Kyosuke can EDN with Excellen providing the Love bonus to him, but if Excellen and Ariel then use their combination attacks as well, Excellen will get a higher damage output due to the Love bonus. This is the reason EDN has higher base power, to make up for the fact that Ariel doesn't love Kyosuke.

I've been a fan of this series for awhile and I've played the two GBA games as well as a few of the untranslated games. I've never been very good at or a fan of strategy games, but this series is one of the ones I do like. Even if it is more complex than the others I bet I could figure it out.
Final Fantasy helped me learn to read when I was little, maybe SRT will help me learn to read japanese.
I'd assume the damage for EDN is lower than Rampage Ghost because Kyosuke and Excellen are getting a love relationship bonus.
This is rather heartbreaking news, but Excellen's voice actor passed away this year. I think it was because of breast cancer, not entirely sure.
It was either breast cancer or lung cancer, I don't remember which. But yes. Hopefully they'll find SOMEONE capable of filling her place, but... It's still painful.

Depends, if I'm using Alt to attack, I'll use Rampage because of the bonus damage., which will follow up with Ariel's EDN.

Ariel/Arriere Org pilots the Flickerei Geist which constructed from salvaged parts from the Alt when it got dismantled by Axel in OG2 and the rests of it's parts comes from other PTs.
The reason you probably got more damage on Excellen, unless someone already told you, is that Excellen and Kyosuke probably get a Love bonus, which is ... 10% to damage if they are standing next to each other, I believe. Great video.

It's a hidden factor: relationship. Kyosuke and Excellen have love, gaining a 10% (correct me if i'm wrong) bonus for damage when they are standing adjacent to each other on the field.
Kyosuke and Excellen have a relationship bonus that gives a final % damage adder to their attacks, hence why Ghost does more damage than E.D.N.

Actually, it's Ing Egret from the Alpha 2-related manga, Lost Children, who's in the Exbein. Strangely he's not a Machinery Child in the OG Timeline from what I've heard, even though the 'Ing Series' was mentioned by Egret Feff back in OG2. o.o

and yes their love level is highest among other couples. Funny thing is that because Bullet and Kusuha are co-piloting Dragon-Tiger King, they always have additional love effect, raising to level 4 automatically.
I've noted that same thing from another vid. Excellen loves to either shoot or bat her opponent as if the opponent's a baseball.

Actually it's because of "love-love effect"
Kyosuke and Excellin have level 4 and when they are in twins,they get additional level,making it level 5 love love.
The answer is that Kyosuke and Excellen have the awesome boost of Love-love attack

I think I know why Rampage Ghost does more damage. Excellen's Range stat may be higher than Ariel's Melee Stat.
Is it the right feeling to be scared of these 4? And Now I'm tempted to find there theme songs. I mean I already feared Wiessreitter Abend and worshiped it.
How would you compare the OG series with the others? always want to check it out but shunned by the fact that my favorite robots aren't in these games.

I'm pretty sure they're Ariel Org and Ing Egret. Ing is one of the machinery children if I remember correctly, but I'm not sure about Ariel.

Well, if you put Ariel and Kyosuke as twin unit and have Excellen besides Kyosuke, you can have EDN still doing more damage at a lower cost.
Yeah i knew, but like you said its a different kind of game. But you're kinda right seeing as it is called a srt og game even though it's totally different. But when i think about srt i don't think about Endless Frontier. xD
Maybe the damage difference between EDN and Rampage Ghost comes from a hidden relationship bonus?
I'm no military expert, but isn't that exactly what a claymore mine does? The explosion is just needed to propel the steel balls with enough power and not the primary weapon.

There aren't any old versions of this game. I'm guessing you mean the previous OG2, originally on the GBA and then bundled with the old OG1 for a PS2 remake. A little confusing, but the series was essentially renumbered and this is a new game.

I think it would have a slightly higher chance. OGS and OGG came out near the end of the PS2 lifespan and the X-Box 360 was in full swing. I think Atlus of America saw that and probably went "Nobody's gonna buy this, even though we think it's awesome." It's still a low chance, low enough for me to import it, but it's still there and I'll buy it in English if it does come out.
1.PS3 games in general has been region free and there has only been one exception which is P4 arena.

4. It's a lot harder then previous games with the inclusion of equipping abilities and if you never played an SRT game before, it's going to be confusing.

Rampage Ghost EX= Absurd mecha sized couple's game of tennis.
I don't think there is any, seeing how OGs and OGG were on the PS2 and, even in Japan, the PS3's backwards compatibility was scrapped on the newer models.
It's definitely the lv3 love bonus between Excellen and Kyosuke. IIRC, the other couples with that are Arado/Seolla, dunno about the Alpha couples.

EDN gains the love bonus if you have Excellen next to Kyosuke when using the EDN. In short, EDN still wins.
E.D.N may do less damage than Rampage Ghost because of some hidden statistic. I dunno. If both Flickerei Geist, Alteisen Riese and Rein Weissritter have the same terrain ranks both for the units and for the weapons, it is the only way I could think that Rampage Ghost does more damage even though E.D.N has greater attack power.

chain attack skill lets you use skills with C on it. what does it do is it lets you attack enemies next to each other, horizontally or vertically, but not diagonally. kyosuke wont benefit from it because none of his alt has any skill that can chain. the only one i know that would benefit from it is ryusei which has it by default, bullet after getting kohryuoh, and tasuki because his gan-dura has one attack that is chain. its like a MAPW attack but only on a small scale. before getting the chain attack skill, check the mech first if any of its attack has C.
oh yeah, want an OP ryusei? give him both gunfight +9 and in-fight +9. that would make SRX that much deadly since tenjo tenga nendo bakusai ken is melee and buster cannon is ranged so he benefits from both.
