I was so creeped out and scared and then at the end... that face! It was creepy but I just burst out laughing hysterically for like 5 minutes! Incredible! I applaud your manipulation of fear and adrenaline to induce humor and laughter! Great job!
Thanks William, that's exactly what i was going for. :D My last short horrors have all been pretty serious so wanted to do something a bit more light hearted this time.

Seriously? People who sweat too much do this but surely smart people like you already knew that.
Anyone that is extremely hot natured usually have ways of balancing body temperature with little ways or things like sticking one’s foot out of the covers. I do this also, correction, used to do this after seeing this. Now, I’ll just not have covers on me at all and I know my panic or reaction state, especially after having had my own paranormal experiences since childhood and someone would have been hurt for sure!

Ok, THAT was weird!
The first part was VERY creepy and had me tensing up for a jumpscare
and then that last scene. The intruders face! HYSTERICAL!

I absolutely love how this movie preys on everyone's childhood fear of sleeping with their feet sticking out.
I also really love how rather than going for a supernatural entity, you just have a weird, creepy old man preying on a young girl, a much more grounded yet scary concept in my opinion. The film reminded me a lot of the short story "Humans Can Lick Too"

Many commenters say that they found the final shot comical. I didn't. But then our grandfather moved in with us the year I began high school and was still with us when I enlisted in the navy and went on my own when I was 21. He and our grandmother had both tried to talk our parents out of adopting me. I was only two months old at the time.
This is exactly why I can't sleep with one of my feet sticking out from the blankets. XD

Holy mother of GOD....I think I just had a heart attack. This is definitely one of the most unsettling short horror films I've seen and I've seen almost 99% on CZcams. Going to watch your others. I love it!! ***** Awesome 👍 He was sooooo creepy.

Jesus Christ 😂👏👏👏 At 2:12 I had to stop and just sat there going "...bruh...bruh..." I'm rarely genuinely frightened by horror movies as I'm admittedly a bit desensitized to the genre since it's one of my favorites, but god did you succeed. It was strangely horrifying yet oddly funny; I love horror that can leave you with a bout of the nervous giggles. Fantastic job, you really are talented at this! 👍

Awesome retelling of an old urban legend! I remember this story when I was a kid in the 80s 😂 I love how you simultaneously made it scary and funny. Tho idk how she didn't immediately scream bloody murder and kick him in the face 🤣 that tongue action at the end tho had me dying! 🤣🤣🤣☠️

Nah. It was just ol' Mr. Alvinson from next door. Looks like he's hopped up on meth and Viagra again. I tell ya, that man is SUCH a trip. What a kidder. And he's a really great painter. Big heart too. Even rescues abused puppies in his spare time when he's not running his start up non-profit organization that gives legal aid for the elderly dealing with predatory scammers.
Even Toby loves him. Doesn't even bark at him when he shows up at night. And Toby barks at everyone all the time.

That man thou. He did great and gave me the vibes of Killer Bob from Twin Peaks in a way. Then I was sort of blindsided at the end as he.. spoilers for those who hasn´t seen this yet.

It had me laughing a bit, like is that supposed to meen that Toby been possessed? The man behaved like a dog after all with his breathing (More like shaking his head and making sound) and so on. Great one.

This is due to many believe this is the witching hour.....3am-4am, that this is a mocking of when Jesus died at 3pm. However, let’s not forget he wasn’t actually born on the 25th of December either....
But yes, this is a busy time of night as well as when the All Hallow’s Eve approaches, the veil between the realms becomes the thinnest and activity heightens with that also! True, too, is when full moons are approaching, their full moon energy is 3 days before, the day of, and 3 days after the full moon. Job Superbly Done again Matt!
For me, it wasn’t about the humor at the end; instead, the ending to me was like a serial stalker that gets into one’s home without them knowing, lying in wait for the night and them to go to bed, lunging when they are most vulnerable, and one of those escaped mental patients from an asylum (perhaps) that tries wreaking havoc with his sick, twisted, demented fetishes that tells me in the message if the victim doesn’t play along, he is going to play cat and mouse with them and enjoy each step of the way with torturing and killing you. . . .
